A romantic guest suite with a private outdoor space for dining ,sunning or reading your favorite book while listening to the waves crashing below.
The most spectacular feature of our studio is the view from every location. One feels like they are totally emersed in the beauty of the sea with total privacy
The studio is equipped with a kitchenette. Mini fridge, and microwave. Coffeemaker and kettle .
This suite is on the ocean bluff and not appropriate for children or pets.

Once in a lifetime stay!

This was the prettiest place we’ve ever stayed. The cottage was wonderfully decorated and very comfortable. The views from the patio and picture windows were unbelievable. Beautiful grounds and perfect location. Communication with our hosts was excellent. This place spoils me for any other rental I might ever visit.

Slice of Heaven

I can’t describe in words the amazing view from this studio. We were mesmerized! The bed was comfortable, there was an abundant supply of towels, pillows, blankets and TP. Even the view from the indoor shower is amazing. The lovely extra touches: a bottle of wine, cookies, box of crackers and meat & cheese were the cherry on top. We will be back, thank you Karen & Barry!

Spectacular home with amazing views

Such a beautiful home. The location is perfect, a short drive to either Mendocino or Fort Bragg. Everything has been thought of for a relaxing get away. A nice card with a bottle of wine and home baked cookies awaited our arrival. Beautifully clean, well appointed, loved the hand made quilts. Hard to put the view into words, what an experience. Thank you for sharing your beautiful home!

A little slice of heaven on the coast

Spectacular view... Much to do

This hideaway is indeed cozy and comfortable. The grounds are beautiful,the view is more than one can imagine and we could not have asked for a more peaceful time here with many hikes and natural attractions nearby. Thanks for a wonderful stay.

Serenity now

Waking up to that beautiful view every morning was absolutely dreamy and listening to the waves as we fell asleep each night was exactly what we were longing for! Hosts were very accommodating when I asked if they had a blender we could borrow to make baby food for my grandchild who was staying elsewhere in Mendocino. We will def return to stay at their comfortable and relaxing place.

Breathtaking view

Gorgeous private space overlooking ocean! Very quiet romantic getaway close to all restaurants and amenities. Perfect little getaway to enjoy wine food reading hiking or just watching and listening to the Ocean! We had an excellent time!!

Unbeatable view

Love this place, we are return visitors. Attached to owners’ home but very private! Sit and watch and listen to the waves, you won’t regret it. And a very short drive into town for galleries, shopping, and restaurants

This side of Heaven

The property was sooo much nicer than the pictures give it credit. It is the perfect hideaway to just relax and enjoy the out of this world view. Karen and her husband have thought of everything you could possibly need on vacation. I can’t thank them enough for sharing their litttle slice of heaven!

Outstanding Views!

Absolutely beautiful property with stunning ocean views. It is very private and yet has the most amazing views of water crashing on all the rocks and in the small cove. The hosts really thought of everything and have an amazing selection of amenities. We can't wait to go back!

Perfect

Three nights, four days really weren't enough. This place is perfect, completely private and comfortable. Incredible views, even if you go during "fogust" . All furniture is very comfortable and there is great water pressure. The views though, oh my goodness!

The description is spot on! 'Cozy hideaway on the edge of the bluff overlooking the ocean' It was absolutely delightful. The view was spectacular. Quiet, private and peaceful. Absolutely FANTASTIC!

We loved our stay here. The place is immaculate and well appointed. The views and the grounds are beautiful…gardens everywhere. It is even more beautiful than portrayed in website photos. Hosts are wonderful and accommodating.. Can’t say enough about the beauty of this property or the whole Mendocino coast! Can’t wait to come back and would definitely want to stay here again!

We are long term residents of Mendocino and enjoy traveling the world.
We live on the property in the main house. The guest suite is totally private with your own entrance . The only only thing we share is the front gate and the driveway.
There is 100% privacy inside your suite as well as outside .
We enjoy having guests spend time in our little hideaway!

Por qué eligió esta propiedad

We not only have a secluded ocean front but we are nestled in-between Russian Gulch State park and Point Cabrillo park that are both less than a mile away and have miles and miles of hiking trails. Both can be reached by walking just outside our gate.
There is also 1909 Lighthouse that has coves and bluffs to explore as well as a lighthouse museum.

Jackson State forest is close with 100 miles of hiking trails.
