This property is 5-star in every way. It was very clean, very roomy, updated decor, super well-equipped, kitchen is well stocked, and many little touches above and beyond what is expected were provided. For example, after a hard night of travel we opened the kitchen door to find a big basket of snacks and k-cups on the kitchen table. We loved being able to walk to a few restaurants, the proximity to the college and downtown area, and especially the Greenway Trail. Great experience!

Comfortable inside and a great backyard!

Family gathering for memorial. Of all the Airbnb or Vrbo properties we rented this was by far everyone’s favorite. The deck and backyard just call you out to relax and enjoy the beautiful shade trees. The beds are very comfortable as is the living room furniture. We didn’t do any cooking but appreciated the snacks and coffee pods.

Charming home with beautiful updates

The home was beautiful, clean, peaceful, and charming. It had all of the charm of an older home with beautiful hardwoods and all of the updates of a new home. The bathrooms were and kitchen were updated with new titles and new appliances. We will stay there again, if we return to the area.

Cleveland Visit

The cottage was so adorable. They had done some remodeling and it was lovely. The home was very clean and there was plenty of room for my sister, daughter and I. The owner was very responsive and helpful. He even came to the home at 12:45am to unlock our door for us. He was heaven sent for sure. I will definitely be staying here again when I return to Cleveland.

Perfect for Us!

David's cottage was perfect for our stay in Cleveland. The location in/near the Historic District was a bonus we didn't expect. I love the way the cottage has been renovated to an updated modern look without compromising the charm of an older home. We also really appreciated the fenced in back yard for our dog. Little things like the snacks and bottled water certainly were not necessary but let us know how much our hosts wanted us to enjoy our stay. The best review I can give is that we have already booked this cottage again for our return to Cleveland in the fall.

This home is very convenient if you are you planning on rafting on the Ocoee. I would stay again but I would want to see some improvements. When we arrived around 10 pm, we were ready to go straight to bed. One of the beds had both dog hairs and dirt on it. We had to change the sheets before going to sleep. We let the owner know the next day hoping he would make some concessions. He didn't make any concessions and just said he planned on buying a new bed. There was also a broken step outside that he owner said he plans to fix.Otherwise, the owner had done a great remodel and it was a comfortable home to stay in.

John , I apologized immediately and ask if there was anything I could do . You said it was no problem because we had an extra set of sheets. I also ask for pictures of the bed and sheets but never received them . Again sorry you had that happen but all I can do is offer . We replaced the step . Thanks again for letting us know .

One of our favorite stays and hosts! It is close to some of our favorite parts of Cleveland! Don’t judge, Alvarez Market (Barbacoa), Bonlife coffee, and Starbucks. Easy decision for us. The home is beautiful and exactly what we need. Our home away from home.
