Clean, cute, cozy, very comfortable and well-appointed apartment that was in easy walking distance of shops and restaurants, with safe strolling to and from. Easy parking, close to the door.

The location was great, at the end of town, so near everything, but not right in any crowds. We were able to easily walk everywhere we wanted to go.

We enjoyed our stay. Parking was free and easy and the property is located very close to the downtown so you can walk almost elsewhere. The staff are very friendly, professional and check-in was very easy. The unit itself is very clean and just as described. We will definitely be returning and highly recommend if you're going to be visiting the Saugatuck area.

Excellent location

Wonderful little place for a weekend getaway with my hubby! Walkable to all the restaurants and shops. Has everything you need and is decorated very nice.

Wonderful little getaway location

Really nice location easy walk to everything in town and if you’re up for it a nice hike to Oval Beach through the wooded hills. What a nice spot!

Right off Water Street

This location is great! It is right off Water Street, and is within walking distance of all things Saugatuck! The outdoor space was nice and comfortable, and it was great to not have to look for parking downtown.

Great Weekend Away!

Property was as described and in a great location. Walking distance to all Saugatuck has to offer. Clean and great communication with the property manager. Bonus was a comfortable bed and awesome water pressure! Would definitely rent again!

Great location!

This was a great place to stay for the week! It was a little tight for our family of four, but we loved being able to walk to all the restaurants and shops in town. The place provided kitchen supplies and toiletries to get us started. It was clean and cute! Highly recommend!

Thank you for staying with us at Park Side! We’re glad to hear the apartment was clean and worked well for your family wedding weekend. We do prepare each property the day of arrival, including knocking down webs and blowing off outdoor spaces, though with nature it’s common for webs to return quickly. Regarding temperature, the listing notes there is no central A/C; instead, the apartment has a window A/C unit in the bedroom during summer months, a fan for the living room, and supplemental heat in the bedroom if needed. The building heat is maintained at 68 degrees in the winter months. We’re always happy to walk guests through how to use the temperature controls during their stay. We appreciate your feedback and are glad you enjoyed your visit to town!

Beautiful views

This property had everything you needed and was just as listed. The check in process was easy and the property managing company was friendly and responsive. The water is just across the street and downtown was just a few blocks walk. You won't be disappointed!

Great Spot

Awesome location, well supplied unit. Iy issue is the fold out sofa bed. It is very uncomfortable and after the first night we just slept in it as a couch. It definitely should be replaced. Other than that, everything was great!!!

Crisp, clean, and Cool!

The place was very clean. Comfortable bed. There is a semi loud extra air unit in the bedroom incase it gets too warm, even with the place being air conditioned, so it was very pleasant during a heat wave. The location cannot be beat. So worth it to not worry about a parking spot and be able to walk around.There was excellent communication from the office. I appreciated that. There is a coffee pot but no coffee so bring grounds from home. There is a second floor you can hear.

We didn’t have to drive anywhere during our stay because everything was within walking distance. The apartment was comfortable however the window AC was very noisy the first night. The next day we turned the dial so it wasn’t as cold and that took care of the noise. The apartment is in the perfect area and there are only 3 apartments in the building. There is also a designated parking spot for each apartment right in front. Very easy to contact management and they are very friendly. We stayed in the larger apartment downstairs and the two smaller ones are upstairs.

We stayed here for two nights while celebrating a friend's 60th birthday. The location is excellent and is the reason I'm giving this property two stars instead of one.Unfortunately, our stay was overshadowed by several issues. The unit had a musty smell, and the portable air conditioner stopped working the first evening. There was also a rodent trapped in the air conditioner hose running throughout the night.We immediately texted the after-hours number provided by management to report both issues but never received a response. We were later told they don't typically monitor texts after 11:00 p.m., but that wasn't included in the check-in information. Had we known, we would have called the emergency number instead, as we assumed it was only for serious emergencies.Because we were concerned the rodent might get into the bedroom, we closed the bedroom door, put a towel under it, and all three of us slept in the living room. One friend slept in a chair, while two of us shared the uncomfortable pull-out couch, which sagged badly toward the middle.Management did bring a replacement air conditioner and a new mattress the next day, but the replacement unit didn't cool well, and another portable AC had to be delivered the second night.I understand that maintenance issues can happen, but the lack of after-hours communication and the condition of the unit made what should have been a special birthday weekend disappointing. Because of our experience, I would not recommend.

Thank you for your feedback. For urgent issues outside of office hours, we provide guests with an emergency phone number that is answered after hours, while overnight text messages may not be seen until the following morning. This information is provided to each guest both in writing and verbally. When we saw this guest's overnight text the following morning, we responded immediately by replacing the portable air conditioner. When additional cooling was requested, we delivered a second portable AC unit and a mattress topper for the sofa sleeper to make their stay more comfortable. The squirrel was in the exterior portion of the portable AC exhaust and did not enter the home. While we're sorry this stay did not meet the guest's expectations, our team is committed to responding promptly and doing everything we can to resolve concerns so our guests can enjoy their vacation.

Property was tired and smelled like mold

The Property was tired, smelled like mold and the shower was clogged so they had to come and unclog the hairy drain. They did fix the drain but only offered air fresheners to help with the smell. This property needs to be completely remodeled.. For the price it's definitely not worth the money.

Super cute and just as advertised!

We were very pleased with the property. Pics are exactly what the property looks like. The river is right across the street and there is a paperboard that takes you on a 90 min. cruise. Holland is only a short drive and there are ample places to go close to Saugatuck. The only problem is parking. There are a couple of restaurants right by the property and parking is difficult. There is designated parking for the property but there are two other units as well. We were there during the Tulip Festival and it wasn’t overly busy but during the summer I’m sure parking is not good. The area was beautiful and we would DEFINITELY stay here again!! Also Damon with the property owner was GREAT about things to do in the area and if we had any questions.
