Chateau La Mer 16E is right across the street from the beach! You will enjoy views of the Gulf of Mexico from your cozy, private second floor balcony that has a unique staircase to the ground floor for quicker access to the beach! This unit has lovely angled ceilings and has been professionally updated and feels spacious and accommodating.

The master bedroom offers a large coastal king bed and access through double doors to the private balcony. The master bath has fine travertine tiled walk in shower and a single vanity. The second and third bedrooms offer queen beds and a shared bathroom with a single vanity and shower/tub combination. You will find all the comforts of home in the kitchen with a full compliment of dishes, silverware, and cookware to prepare meals as you wish with full size stainless appliances. The living room compliments the view with plenty of comfortable seating featuring two sofas in front of the fireplace, two separate dining tables, and access to the sliding glass doors to the balcony with the grand view! Make your next stay in cozy elegance at Chateau La Mer 16E featured by Gibson Beach Rentals! This property also comes with seasonal beach service and is PET FRIENDLY! Dogs Welcome! Limit 2 with a $250 Pet fee nonrefundable. Pet fee not included in quote. Please contact our reservations department to confirm your pet(s).

We love staying here because the accessibility to the beach is so easy! Clean rental and only issue we had was the ac but one call to Gibson Properties and they had it fixed very quickly! Will def book again in the future

Destin stay

Everything was great the beach access the privacy and the area, food choices could be better area wise, and the condo could come with a few home items such as seasonings and coffee filters etc. other than that everything was great!!! Would stay again :)

Fantastic Place

This place was great! Short walk to the beach and pool. Plenty of room for everyone. Love the regular size washer and dryer.

Family vacation

We were there for a 15 day family vacation and as soon as we walked in, it felt like home. Everything was clean, convenient and well equipped. We loved the area where the condo was situated and the fact that the beach was gated and very close. We will definately be booking again next year.

Overall, the stay was just okay. Our first impression of the condo was how dirty the floors were. Clearly that had not been cleaned in a long time. We all put our shoes back on ten minutes into getting there because our feet were already black from walking on the floors. Cooking was a nightmare between pans that everything stuck to and half the stove eyes not working very well at all. (15 min on high and my eggs JUST started cooking). We also had to buy basic seasonings like salt and pepper, which are usually included in rentals for bare minimum seasonings. The A/C in the master bedroom was also broken, which we were brought a fan, but it hardly made a difference in this heat. The owners gave a partial refund to make this right, so no complaint about that, but still did not make the stay great having to sleep in a stuffy room. The walk to the beach is short, and it’s close to many places to eat, which is nice! Truly the only reason I put three stars instead of two. The saving grace on this stay, honestly. For what we paid to stay here though, we were disappointed.

Lovely, Clean and Spacious

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had a wonderful time with our family. Plenty of room and a convenient walk to the beach and Captain Dave’s. We love pickleball and we were only steps away from the pickleball courts.

Lovely condo and great location

We absolutely love the location of this condo. It is across the street from beach with great balcony and it is next to the pickleball courts. It was a quiet community and not crowded. We also loved the extra thought put into items vacationers might need (umbrellas, extra usb outlets, labels and instructions for remotes, storage unit to put beach items so we didn’t have to lug them upstairs, etc.) The master bedroom was very cool and cozy. Loved the pillows and linens. Slept well!!!! The Realty company was very helpful and we easily could call them and extend our stay which we turned our one week trip into two weeks. I would definitely come to this condo again. However, there are a couple of recommendations for repairs to the unit. The clothes dryer is so loud that you cannot hear tv in living area, the dishwasher needs to be bolted into cabinet and the dishwasher door falls to floor quickly which almost hit my foot. Also the broil on the oven did not seem to work.
