Beautiful property with fantastic views. We watched dolphins every morning from the deck. Great layout for a crowd. Property management was very responsive. Highly recommend this property.

House was great. Very well equipped. Great views. Only issue is beach access. Young people easier to access. Older visitors, not so much. Claiming a hill of sand is not an easy task.

Amazing view of ocean from all rooms! Fantastic value. Huge family room. More sleeping space and bathrooms than we even needed!

We had a great time. The beach is literally right in front of the house. The host was quick to respond to any questions. Definitely would book this house again.

We booked this house last minute but it was handled and we had booked far in advance. The house has amazing view of the ocean. Stocked well for a week or more stay. The sand dune that blocked the path to the ocean was the only roadblock we encountered. Great stay and would book again.

Beautiful location

We had an amazing time after a couple hiccups, but all in all a wonderful stay with beautiful views.Would definitely stay again in the future.

The rooms were clean, the house had a big spacious living room with a great view, quiet neighborhood, easy access to the beach and didn’t feel crowded as neighboring houses were not built immediately next to this property.

We had a great stay. The house is beautiful well located and exactly as described. The host was fantastic very responsive and professional. When we experienced a small issue with the hot water tank, she responded within minutes and had maintenance on site almost immediately. The problem was fixed quickly and without any disruption to our stay. I would definitely book this property again.

We loved our time at Pompous Pelican! The view was outstanding! You can see the ocean from every room because it is right outside! There were dolphins and pelicans visible almost every day of our visit. It was glorious! The rooms were spacious and so comfortable and clean! The kitchen was big and it was easy to find pots and pans and cooking utensils. There was plenty of parking. We walked on the beach, walked on the beach road and loved it! Our only issue was problems with the WiFi which was the fault of the company that provides the WiFi, not the owners of the property. The directions are easy to find Pompous Pelican and plenty to do in the Outer Banks! You will definitely enjoy your stay!

The house was beautiful and right on the beach. There was plenty of room for everyone. Plenty of parking available. Wonderful views from every window in the main living area. Lots of balcony space and chairs. We all had enough space and the beach itself was never crowded. We would definitely stay here again.

Wonderful place to stay

The location and cleanliness were perfect. Communication from the property manager was quick and efficient. We loved staying here and would do so again. The elevator was a game changer for us, my mother is handicapped and it was incredibly helpful to have and use!

Top Notch

We had our 2025 family vacation here and the House was Beautifully decorated and supplied with all kitchen appliances and cookware, dishes. Panoramic views and the Octagon shape of the main living area with the sky lights was Amazing.

Great getaway

The layout of the house is perfect for large groups. We put together puzzles and cooked as a group. Such a relaxing wonderful space. Dawn was very responsive and helpful.
