A Beautiful apartment in an 8 year old house.
Many shops and places to eat in or order delivery. Next door to a convinent store and a nice park/playground. 30 minute drive to Sambro beaches, 20 minute drive to downtown. Also on a main transit bus route.

Great house in a great location.

This house was everything we needed, and came as advertised. The host is great at answering questions before booking. Its a great location, not faf from downtown halifax.

Great Homebase for our trip!

This property offered everything we needed for our stay. We were close enough to everything we wanted to see, and even got to go for some runs in the nearby nature trails. I would stay here again.

Lesson - Managing my expectations

Pictures of add are accurate, however there is more than meets the eye. Comforters and boxsprings were dated, bedsheets ok. The thermostat was taped off and at a quick glance of laundry room, one machine is coin operated. I understand reviews are subjective and this is my opinion only. We opted to stay at reputable hotel.

The house was comfortable.

The house was good but there was no wifi available. I tried to reach the owner to ask for a password but she never replied after two days. This was frustrating. There were a couple of other small issues. The upstairs toilet seat was loose and couldn't be fixed and actually fell off. Also in both bathrooms the light fixtures required three light bulbs but had only one. There was no hair dryer and usually there is one available. I had to clean the stove top which I didn't mind but it should have been cleaner.

Awesome place to stay

This place is a great place to stay. Home owner is very fast responding to messages. Home is private, quiet and clean. It's a convenient location for me when traveling in Halifax area.

Awesome place

I stayed for 4 nights. I was traveling alone for work. This home is bright, clean, and was perfect. The owner was very quick to respond to messages. I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again in the future.

A Real Bargain

The property is a very spacious two bedroom house with large kitchen and living room area. It is clean, bright and very roomy. Commumication and support from Janaia was excellent. This place is a bargain for the price. Further to a previous review, there is now a coffee pot!

As expected for the price

The property is very spacious, has great natural light, good parking, and we felt like we had good privacy. For the price, and for short term it was fine. If we were a long time renters though, I’d have plenty of comments to the landlord regarding the general upkeep, care and maintenance. The place was clean-ish, but could use an actual deep clean and not just a flip between guests cleaning. The couch had a funny smell (swass) and should be replaced. Overall it was fine, considering the price. It met our needs and was well located for our visit to the area. PS- there is no coffee maker which was kind of a pain for us
