Beachfront 1bd Condo-Huge Balcony Looking Directly at Beach
Enjoy the sunrise over the beach and watch as the dolphins play in the morning surf.  In the afternoon, watch the sunset over the entire island from your 9th floor balcony.  
The bedroom features a queen bed with a new firm pillow top mattress covered in Egyptian cotton sheets. The mattress was replaced Nov 20, 2020. The bed is slightly raised for under bed luggage storage. In the living room, enjoy 2 Sofa sleepers. The full size kitchen is fully stocked. All kitchen items were replaced Nov 20, 2020.
COVID-19 Protection.
Condo Cleaning - The following steps have been implemented for COVID-19.
-The condo is blocked out for 24 hrs prior to you use.
- All linen, duvets, towels, bedding, pillows, etc are removed from the condo and not used for about a week. We have 2 sets of everything. All sheets are washed with 1 cup of Clorox and use high heat washing and drying for sanitizing. Because of COVID, extra linen is not provided or left in the condo. Please let us know if you will need linen for the fold-out couches before arrival.
- A UV light is used on the furniture and hard to reach places during cleaning.
- Everything is sanitized and sits for 24 hrs prior to your arrival.
- Many of the fluffy items in the condo have been removed to allow for easier cleaning. The outdoor furniture has been substituted for items that can be disinfected easily.
Check in - The front desk has been emailed a copy of your arrival info. When you arrive, you can call the phone number on the front of the building and they can come out and check you in. They will give you a parking pass and fobs key for access to the parking garage. If you enter the office, you are required to wear a face mask.
Property - Face masks are required in the elevator, office and most businesses in the town. Please carry and use your face mask when required. Face masks are optional on the city beach. Only single pole umbrellas are allowed on the beach. There is a minimum 15 ft. distance rule on the beach between groups.
 
Guests responsibility - If you get sick from COVID before, during or after your stay, please let me know so we can all take precautions. You are encouraged to follow CDC guidelines.
Owner Responsibility - I live 2 blocks from the condo. If you need anything before or during your stay, please contact me and I can bring it over.
*** Remodel March 2014- The entire unit was painted; ceiling and all walls. 5 new wall lights were added to the living room and bedroom and the kitchen light was upgraded. The bedroom furniture was replaced with white beach furniture. It looks wonderful and smells great.
*** Yearly maintenance of new paint and fixing of items as needed.

Admin fee is the 11% city and county tax.

We live on South Padre Island full time enjoying the surf and kite boarding.  When w4e started coming to SPI, we have lived in this condo in the winter and added the little things that make it more comfortable like a place to hang your keys when you come in the door and extra hooks in the bathroom for wet swim suits.   All the paintings have beach themes to add to the island feel too.  We live two block away from the condo now so can respond quickly if you need anything during your stay.  We can often be seen kiteboarding in front of the condo after work.

South Padre Island has the island feel yet is convenient to get to.  Its as far south as you can get in the west.  It has the largest balconies on the island.  All of them look directly at the water.  You can play directly out from your condo and if you drop a penny over the balcony, it will land in the beach sand!
Qué distingue a esta propiedad
The sunrises and sunsets from the 9th floor are amazing.  Being slightly higher and look down, you can see the dolphin in the water that you can't see from the lower floors.
