Well appointed kitchen, very private space even though it's in a neighborhood. I had some video work calls to make and the internet handled it well. Glad to have stayed here!

Beautiful, comfortable home, close to great hikes and waterfalls. One week was not long enough! Looking to go back in summer.

OK, First let me say that this house is an awesome property and is spotless. The overall craftsmanship of this home is excellent. It’s one of the best equipped VRBO homes I’ve ever rented. The kitchen is extremely well equipped. Lots of plates, silverware, glasses, baking items, pots, and pans. Probably the only thing that could be added are salt and pepper shaker/grinder and a nonstick small pan to cook eggs in.Here’s the downside. Your prohibited from using the master bedroom. It’s locked so you’re relegated to kind of like a kids room. And that room is connected to a bathroom, which is also the only other upstairs bathroom. Spartan but comfortable. Additionally, although this wasn’t a problem for me, you won’t be using the garage as stated in the listing as there’s equipment and a ping-pong table in there. Plenty of parking on the driveway. Also be aware of that checkout is at 10:00 and check-in is at 4:00. It was a bit stressful getting out of the house on time today.Here’s the part that I really didn’t enjoy and that was the management company. You pay the management company separately for their work and you have to pay VRBO separately for their fee. I received no less than 7 emails from yonder and VRBO. Seems it could be simplified a bitOverall, I really like the house and I rent would rent it again but not as a romantic getaway. That’s due to the bedroom arrangement. The home is well located and just 10 minutes from Brevard and 20 from Pisgah.

Overall the property was good. A bit dated, and it smelled musty as noted in other reviews. The furniture and beds seemed quite dated and uncomfortable. The kitchen was well appointed. The location was very convenient to the Pisgah Forest. We rented the unit rather last minute. This created an arduous reservation process that apparently began with the premise that we were somehow scammers. They required a diver license (ok), a picture of the credit card used to make the reservation, as well as a selfie with the driver license in the selfie. The agent I spoke with at the management company Yonder (her name is Aubrey) was the most rude and belligerent individual I have ever had the experience of talking with in a customer service setting. She kept talking over me, would not let me finish a sentence, and was overall just nasty. When I told her to wait until I was done speaking before interrupting me, she became belligerent throughout the rest of the call. End of the day, she certainly ruined my overall view of the process, the property and the owner. I frankly can’t believe an owner would trust their property with a management company that treats individuals in such a manner. So, while we visit the area often, never again will we book with a property managed by Yonder.

Chalet was beautiful and peaceful just as noted in the listing. We stayed in the bedroom downstairs as we preferred that shower. Only drawback was there is no storage in that bathroom. Thankfully there was a cart with 2 shelves in the bedroom so we could store our toiletries there.

Beautiful home, well stocked kitchen will needed pots, pans, supplies. Just strange to have pictures missing from the walls, which made me want to "do something about it, to fix it" rather than relaxing. Downstairs musty smelling. A guest stay downstairs in the bedroom furthest from the smell and said it was tolerable for 4 nights. We stayed/splet upstairs on the main level . Bed was comfortable, but mattress on a metal frame. Convenient to stores and outdoor hiking opportunities.
