Newly remodeled apartment over our garage. Great location-centrally located in downtown St. Ignace. Walking distance to a lot of local attractions and events. It is upstairs, so this is not handicapped accessible.

Cute and clean! Fresh flowers were a nice touch too. Loved how convenient parking was and great walking distance to almost everything. Mary was very responsive and a great host. 100% recommend and will be back!

Great place to stay

This was a great place to stay, very cozy and clean. Only downside is the address is a bit difficult to find on google maps/Apple Maps.

apartment was clean and well appointed, quiet area no worries about people intruding. location is excellent, walking distance to everything in st ignace and 1500ft from the docks to go to mackinac island. would not hesitate to stay there again

We loved our time here. We used this as a "base camp" and did several day trips up north as well as the island. Very well stocked and clean!

We were happy to have found this place away from the hotels and people. We came for the Mackinac Bridge Run/Walk and knew we would be dealing with crowds on Labor Day weekend. Here, we had space to park, knowing our rental car wouldn’t get dented, a private apartment with views of the water to relax in and a location that was a quick 2 minute walk down hill to shops and the farmers market. Grocery store is only a 3 min drive. It’s comfortable and had everything we needed. It even has its own cleaning supplies. My husband said he wished the bed was a little newer and he wasn’t super comfortable but I haven’t slept better in months so I guess that’s a personal preference. We were especially happy that it had dishes, pots and pans, silverware and cooking appliances like a toaster, microwave and full stove/oven. I made breakfast in the morning so we could eat in peace and not be surrounded by a bunch of other hovering hotel guests and be on a breakfast schedule. The host, Mary, responds to messages through the app and is very friendly. There is even a self-pay tiny homegrown farm stand in the driveway which was a cute extra. The tv has Hulu which we appreciated and the room has several options for lighting from dim to well lit. It would have been nice to have another side table on the other side of the bed. The railing and stairs may creak and give you a splinter so just be careful.Map initially took us somewhere else up the hill. Mary says use Google Maps. I agree. Pack water!

Location, location, location! Lovely apartment with a great view and right in the center of town. Also within an hour or so from several other towns that we were able to visit during our stay without having to change locations.

Amazing little studio apartment perfect for a couples getaway. We were able to park the truck and walk everywhere we wanted to go! Would totally recommend to anyone looking to stay in st ignace

Excellent place to stay

Property was very clean and the host was very kind. The place is extremely cozy and makes relaxing super easy. I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again in the future.

Long Weekend

The Huron View Sunrise Getaway is a great place to stay. It is located a block from the main street with plenty of restaurants and other things to do within walking distance. The hosts were great and very responsive. I would highly recommend and we plan to stay again in the future.

The Huron Getaway

An amazing place to stay, walking distance to the boardwalk, shops & food. Very cute, quaint place! We enjoyed our time together staying here celebrating our wedding anniversary!

I found the place perfect for a stay and visit to the area. You are right downtown, but off the main road. Right across from the classic ferry dock to Mackinac Island so no worry about parking. The studio apartment was clean and everything I needed was there. I would definitely stay again!

Perfect Couple’s Haven

Wonderful getaway. This was the perfect place to stay. We were able to walk to downtown and to the ferry.

This is the cutest and cleanest place. Mary was so helpful and wonderful to work with. We would definitely stay again if we come back.

Quick Trip to Da Toop

Great location with a lot to do in the area. The rental itself was fantastic to just hangout and watch some football. Very clean and comfy!

We cannot recommend this place enough. Amazing location and views, as well as great hosts. Very thoughtful and gave great suggestions for local sites to visit. Highly recommend this for your stay!

Great spot and great hosts!

A very cute spot in a convenient area that is walking distance to many things in St. Ignace. We had such a relaxing time and really enjoyed the thoughtful touches from the host. The rental had everything necessary for a short stay. We loved The Wild Blueberry for breakfast / lunch and Buoys for dinner!

St Ignace Gem

We loved our stay at the Huron View Sunrise Getaway! The place was adorable and perfect for a couple. The hosts were very thoughtful in the layout - even marking where to park and providing a nice private outdoor area. So many attractions in St. Ignace are in walking distance making it easy to come and go. Lovely place and lovely hosts!

Two Day Get-a-Way

The apartment is newly decorated and quite lovely. Small but cozy with everything we needed. Within a half mile of the Ferry that goes to Mackinac Island and an easy walk.
