Nestled in the oaks just a few miles from Sonoma Town Square, this guest cottage has all the amenities you want for your stay in the Wine Country. The comfortably furnished suite has one queen bedroom in an attached bathroom. The separate living room area has a fireplace, a flat screen TV, Wi-Fi and cable, desk, and eating area. The mini kitchen offers a couple the ability to eat in. The outside provides a place to enjoy the view. This quiet area offers great privacy, and the bright and beautiful cottage offers window views of oaks and lots of wildlife. The large pool area is an ideal place to relax and enjoy the Sonoma experience. And you are only minutes away from world-class wineries, restaurants, and a multitude of activities in the wine country.

Peaceful Getaway!

We really enjoyed our stay at this cottage in Sonoma. It was very quiet and saw a lot of wildlife. Amenities were as described! The view from the pool deck is just stunning. Recommend this spot!

Perfectly peaceful

My partner and I stayed at Cottage in the Oaks to attend the Napa to Sonoma Half Marathon. Hosts are lovely, and Sandy was communicative and extremely helpful. The property is beautiful, spacious, and very quiet. It was a really nice vacation from the city and place to rest after the race.

Sonoma Gem

The property is beautiful. The cottage itself is fabulous. Great location. Private and quiet, yet close to Sonoma Town Square and many wineries. We will definitely stay here again. No reason to look elsewhere.

Cozy nook in the woods

For a last-minute trip away from home, we couldn’t have picked a better spot. Seeing as my sister and I had to work, it was set up in a way that accommodated us perfectly. The decor was older but perfectly clean and cozy. There was plenty of storage and supplies that fit our needs. The location is isolated but also close enough to anything we needed in town. We would stay again!

Perfect spot in Sonoma!

I came to Sonoma for almost a week and stayed in this lovely cottage. It’s so quiet & peaceful, and you’re surrounded by nature & wildlife. I did see the owner several times & had communications with him. JP was a warm & welcoming host. It’s only 10 minutes to downtown Sonoma. And as a solo traveler, I felt safe there. Highly recommend.

Quick Sonoma Trip

We spent 2 days in Sonoma before a business trip in San Francisco. Great, secluded location with guest house completely separate from main house. Would recommend.

Perfect

If you're looking for serenity during your stay to the Sonoma Valley, this is the perfect place. It is a cozy guest house over a garage that is clean and in a beautiful setting. The pictures do not do it justice. Don't let the fact there is not a stove detour you. There is a microwave and a toaster oven and with the fantastic places to eat nearby, there is no reason to cook anyway! We had a great time and appreciate the owners sharing their little slice of heaven.

property and location are EXCELLENT. i found the internet speeds limiting, which is not an issue unless you are a TECH-NO-GEEK. i myself prefer THE ANOLOG!! kitchen could benefit from some dark colored towels.

Lovely hilside 'mother-in-law'

A beautiful and tranquil setting amongst the oaks on a Sonoma hillside. We enjoyed the quiet with only a coyote or two yapping in the distance at night and bird song in the morning. Far enough out of town for solitude, yet close enough to be on the Sonoma town square in a few minutes.

Great spot!

We had a great stay, the pictures didn’t do it justice. The loft was a nice little spot and the pool was fantastic with a great view. Check-in was simple; just show up!

Cottage in the Oaks

Sonoma cottage

Pleasant experience. We enjoyed the privacy not being in a hotel and found the place cozy and comfortable. It rained most of our stay or we could have enjoyed a little more of the scenery. It was nice to see the deer and wild turkeys. Quick drive to the Sonoma square, 45 minutes to the Santa Rosa airport and about an hour and fifteen minutes to San Fancisco. Definitely recommend.

Serenity with a view of Sonoma!

My wife and I stayed at JP's place and couldn't have been more pleased with our stay. Privacy, cleanliness and the most relaxing stay we ever could have had. I highly recommend this as a hub to visit all the wineries in Sonoma, Napa and Healdsburg. Five stars!

Beautiful cottage in the hills

I liked the place quite a bit. It is a beautiful lot with oaks and deer roaming around. The place itself is very clean and comfortable. It is a bit of a drive to town so getting morning coffee could be a 15 minute drive. I assume this also is not meant to be a place to cook in, since there is no stove and just a small fridge. But who comes to Sonoma to cook anyway. Overall a great place and a good deal for its price. Communication was seamless.
