Wish it would have had a washer and dryer as stated in the description. Nice room and building. Very nice for my boys to spend the week with me.

We really enjoyed our stay and were impressed with the development over all with it’s private pool and beach, and elevator. The condo was well appointed and clean with a very comfortable bed. Also it was very convenient to downtown Southport.Thanks,Larry & Gail

Southport Celebration

Property was clean, convenient to town. Pool was a plus! Pleasantly surprised with kitchenette, full fridge, microwave, stove.

Southport Stay

This condo was perfect and everything we meeded. It was such a wonderful vacation. My daughter really enjoyed the pool and privacy on the beach. The beach is very small, but still plenty enjoyable and close to public beach access which we also used.

Area was lovely, needed a trolley for luggage, salt and pepper would have been nice! Wonderful that the coffee maker was replaced quickly but a coffee filter for the 3rd day would have been appreciated! Thank you for sharing your home!

Spotless!

If you are looking for someplace clean, you should definitely stay here, it was spotless. We loved the location, we were able to walk to everything in Southport and its just a short drive to Caswell Beach. My only issue was there was limited cell service and no secure internet. Although, that maybe a blessing in disguise for some.

The property itself was fine overall, but there were several things that made the stay less comfortable than expected. One important note is that the listing photos give the impression that the unit is directly waterfront, when in reality there is another building between the unit and the water view. We also found the guest setup surprisingly sparse. There was only one roll of toilet paper provided, one single-serve bag of coffee, and no coffee filters to actually make the coffee. At the same time, the checkout expectations were fairly extensive, despite basic supplies like dish soap and dishwasher tablets not being provided. Unfortunately, the overall experience felt very impersonal and heavily management-company driven, with little attention paid to hospitality. We also found a half-opened sleeve of Ritz crackers under the bed, which made us question how thoroughly the unit had been cleaned before arrival. The stay wasn’t terrible by any means, but it ultimately didn’t feel especially comfortable or relaxing for us, and we ended up leaving a night early.

Great place. Location and amenities.

Really a sweet surprise. Little beach, pool and lucky there was live music on the deck the 2nd night. I would only add they should have a wine key in the room. Thankfully I keep one in my car. And something a little more comfortable and taller if they are allowed, on the balcony. So you can see the water. That’s my comfort and designer side coming out. Easy upgrade. But otherwise beautiful and comfy. Close to everything. Would highly recommend.

Make no mistake- this is a hotel room- the only separation after the front door is the bathroom. There were no instructions on how to find our “condo”. I told the hostess that we were coming in late and after flight delays- we got there around 11:30pm. There were NO SIGNS on the 4 buildings to identify anything except the first one and it said 301-324. Now what would that mean to you? 4 buildings and the first one is the 3’s….. yeah me to. We did see an address on the side of a building that said 702? I believe that was the 3rd building. We slowly drove back and forth several times looking for a sign- nope- finally my husband said just stop here and I’ll go up and look around- that’s how we found our “room” when we opened the door- a thick smell of musty air filled our noses- we thought- well it’ll clear up- it hasn’t been stayed in in a few months…. Nope- it never got any better. There is a dehumidifier in the room and it was full- my husband emptied it and by the next morning it was full again. Yeah- good thing we knew how to do that. There was no instructions on it. There was no guide for the Tv channels, and the balcony furniture wasn’t fit to sit on- it was about 45% rusted and the paint was chipping off. The door also stuck on the shower and the whole time we were there- I thought we were surely going to break it- thank goodness it didn’t happen. There’s no phone signal there and the WiFi is not password protected. We did feel safe there though.so you decide.

This hotel was in walking distance to town, which was really nice. It was a clean hotel room and served the purpose. Check in was not as smooth as I would like. I had a hard time getting check in instructions from the host through Vrbo. Host said they sent instruction by email but I search my email several times and never found them. It wasn't until after check in that I received these instructions but I started communicating about the check in progress at 7 am. The room was musty as if empty for a while. You got use to the smell after a little bit and by the end of the week, hardly noticed it. However, I would stay here again. There was a pool and beach but it was locked. Wifi and password didn't work. Outdated info in Vrbo. There was a check in office. I am sure check in during while visiting the office would have been smooth.
