We had a great time relaxing here between trips to nearby towns and beaches. Truly one of the most magical properties I’ve ever stayed at, and well located. Will definitely be back.

We had a lovely weekend stay for a family trip. Everything was clean and we really enjoyed the coffee/tea bar. It was so great that the property was dog friendly so we could bring our dog! I would stay here again.

Perfect weekend getaway

Stayed at this property with wife and friends. Perfect for 4 people. Would definiteyl stay there again.

Great property!

We stayed for a long Memorial Day Weekend and had the most amazing time! Check-in/check out was a breeze, home was very clean, dogs were super comfortable, and everything we needed was very accessible. The house was super cozy and we felt right at home. Definitely plan to stay here again in the future!

Wonderful Getaway Location

This is a wonderful getaway in Saugatuck Township. A beautiful wooded lot very close to Lake Michigan and strolls along scenic Lakeshore Drive. We found the hosts to be incredibly gracious, and the accommodations very clean and comfortable. We particularly loved the numerous conversation areas on the front deck and back patio.

Great place!

Delightful home with great fenced in yard our dog enjoyed! House could use some upgrades (firmer mattresses, updated appliances), but the experience was generally awesome and the owner/manager could not be more attentive and conscientious.

Ferngrove Fun

We had a wonderful stay at this charming cottage! It was cute, clean, and well-stocked, making us feel right at home from the moment we arrived. The neighborhood was peaceful, with beautiful tall trees creating a lovely backdrop. Our dog especially loved the fun, fenced-in yard, and we enjoyed morning walks along the lake—such a perfect way to start the day. Plus, the nearby restaurants in town were fantastic! We couldn’t have asked for a better getaway and would absolutely stay here again.

Perfection

Fernwood Grove was perfect for our annual family vacation. It was exactly as described in the listing, serene. The neighborhood is quiet, clean, and close to the Lake Michigan shoreline. Check in/out was a breeze, and communication with Philip was great. The property was spotless upon arrival, the yard was luscious. The added touches did not go unnoticed. A lovely coffee bar, extra trash bags, laundry soap, supplies for the pups, nice televisions in all bedroom spaces, and a well supplied kitchen. Location was perfect in relation to Saugatuck, Douglas, and Holland. We would definitely return to the property and would recommend to anyone looking for a place near Saugatuck.

Gorgeous cottage in the woods

I've stayed at several Art Coast Properties rentals and this one was up to the usual impeccable standards. The living room, master room and bathroom are spectacular. I slept in the basement area on the sofa bed which is less fancy but I was still very comfortable. As other reviews state, although it's just a quarter mile from the lake shore, unfortunately it is 2 miles to the public beach. However, I loved going for a daily walk/run down Lakeshore Drive to get there. Otherwise it's a very quick drive. The main thing I didn't like is that it is right by the freeway, but it's easy to forget about that when everything is otherwise so idyllic. Would definitely return to this or any other Art Coast Property.

Relaxing stay!

This is our 5th time visiting this area of Michigan and 1st time staying at this property. We loved the peaceful yard, hot tub, open concept main floor and deck to dine on and practice yoga! We traveled with our young adult children for their HS grad trip with a couple of friends! The main bedroom was nice for all 4 girls to bond together and share space. My husband and I were fine in the lower level queen room, and my son didn’t mind the rec room sleeper sofa at all! He enjoyed being able to watch movies before bed without disturbing anyone! The home was very clean upon arrival, which we certainly appreciated! The dog friendly aspect was a huge perk (I would just recommend a taller fence). We loved walking just a few minutes to Lakeshore for daily strolls! If you’re looking for a clean home suitable for groups to mingle, gather outdoors and enjoy nature near Lakeshore, this is it! We will be back!
