Tranquil beach cottage in historic American Beach! 5 min walk to the beach!

Enjoy a dreamy stay at the Pearl House in historic American Beach! This home is situated on Amelia Island just minutes from the Omni Plantation, beautiful golf courses, and 12-15 min. from downtown Fernandina Beach. Our cottage is one of just 4 homes on a quiet, dead-end lane offering peace and tranquility for your vacation! Master bedroom and master bath are on the ground floor, 2nd bedroom and full bath are upstairs. This property has a private backyard with shade trees, screened porch, and is just a few short blocks to the beach! The kitchen is equipped with coffee, filters, coffee pot, and necessities for preparing home cooked meals. Towels, beach chairs, and umbrella are provided for those long beach days! You will not want to leave once you experience this getaway to Amelia!

Fantastic little beach house

This house is in a beautiful area of Fernandina Beach. It is in a quiet neighborhood, just a short walk to the beach and a short drive to the grocery store, Omni hotel, and downtown. The house was clean and had everything we needed for our stay. If you are looking for a relaxing vacation, this is a perfect place.

Wow Wow Wow!

1200 steps to an empty, beautiful, pet friendly beach. We stay in VRBO's quite a bit. This one is by far the best ever. Clean, spacious, pet friendly and near grocery, restaurants and shopping. Owner is also very responsive from booking to departing. Harris Teeter grocery has very good prepared food selection that is reasonable, a great wine selection and just about anything else you might want. You can't go wrong with any of the restaurants on the list in the home but you add Cucina South to it if you're looking for a more upscale Italian restaurant priced fairly. Bottom line - we will definitely go back. You will not be disappointed with this pick!

Most conveniently located VRBO cottage!!

Comfortable and clean cottage well supplied with all your needs. Less than a mile to great restaurants and beach access. Our little Doxie enjoyed her stay too! Will definitely come back to this cottage again. Owner was outstanding in communication. Try it you’ll love it!

First time to Amelia Island. Loved the historic downtown and great beaches. Quiet neighborhood, comfortable furniture, private yard and a fun two weeks by the ocean.

Island holiday

We drove down the day after Christmas to visit family.Our first time staying on this part of the island.The house was great and in a very neat area.The property owner was very responsive to our questions. We recommend the Pearl house.

Relaxing Girls Weekend

This adorable home was perfect for our girls weekend getaway. So comfortable and clean. Beds were amazing, couch is comfy to lounge and chat. Cute area outback to enjoy the evening. Walking distance to the beach to enjoy the sunrise. Close to restaurants & shopping. Highly recommend!

Loved The Pearl House!

I loved this home. It is immaculate, beautiful decorated, fully stocked with whatever one might need. Welcoming and peaceful home and neighborhood, yet very close to everything. Excellent location. The bed I slept in was very comfortable - best sleep I've had in six months. I'd come back here just to stay at this home.

Peaceful and serene

I absolutely loved this little gem tucked away in American Beach, short walk to the ocean, close to grocery store and shops, was SUPER clean and cozy, manager was very friendly, and I feel refreshed after my stay. I will definitely be back!

The cottage was clean and adorable. Check in was flawless, appreciated the 3 pm check in and 11am check out. There were no issues during our stay. The neighborhood was under construction so it wasn’t as eye appealing as I’d expected.

Tidy, lovely, home perfect for a small family and pup!

Tidy, lovely, and equipped with everything you need. Nice, open living and kitchen area allows for the family to relax and enjoy time together. Spacious master with full bath and two twin beds upstairs with a full bath, perfect for kiddos! Loved the laundry room and small storage area with beach chairs and umbrella, easy to grab and carry on the walk to the beach. Small but sweet yard area in the front and back was nice for our pup to explore! Kerby is a great host and very responsive. We had a great stay!
