Adorable place with a secluded location! Wonderful if you'd like to rewind after your shopping in DC. Beds and furniture were comfy. Had everything you needed.

Cute property with easy access while being very secluded. We enjoyed a fire in the fire pit 2 of the 3 nights. The beds were very comfortable and there was plenty of toilet paper and paper towels for us to use. Plenty of room for the 2 of us. I'd rent here again.

Everything at the property was exactly as listed. Each room had their own AC unit which made it customizable for different family member’s comfort level. It was close enough to “downtown” Fish Creek to enjoy shopping, eating out, etc, but secluded to enjoy the peace and quiet of Door County. We would absolutely stay again if traveling to the area. We enjoyed activities in Sturgeon Bay, Fish Creek, Jacksonport and Sister’s Bay this week!

The hosts were super friendly and attentive! Any question I had was answered super quickly. Would definitely recommend this spot- super clean and worked perfectly for our pup. We can’t wait to be back!

Perfect spot in DC. You can get to Peninsula Park, Sister Bay and Whitefish Dunes quickly so you don’t feel like you are in the car all day if you are out exploring. Super clean, which is shocking due to allowing pets. I did not see a dog hair anywhere. Layout was just as stated on the property details. Bed was comfortable and bedding was fresh. Everything you need is there except- get wood and charcoal before you go through Sturgeon Bay to save some .

Property was great, secluded but close to everything. 15-20 minute drive to every where we wanted to go. Our two dogs loved being there as well!

Good location with easy access to multiple venues. Loved that we could be there with our rescue dog that has separation anxiety!

Everything was in good condition besides one of the legs being loose and falling off the king bed. Everything else was great!!

Hidden Gem

Far exceeded our expectations; perfect place for family especially those with dog. The property is an ideal Door County central location. With 2 bedrooms having a king and 2 queens plus a comfy couch---plenty of room for 4-5 adults. Rental was super clean and had everything you could possibly need. It was perfect for our dog as we could easily let him out off leash with property being secluded. This was just a true gem! We'd definitely stay again!

Adorable little hoke

What a great property perfect for a Door County get away. The home was a great size for 6 of us (3 adults 3 kids) was clean and well decorated. Only recommendation is clarifying arrival instructions as we thought we were entering someone’s property (house is behind it). Otherwise would definitely stay again.

Great stay

Great place to stay. We had 4 adults and 4 kids, it was not huge but had everything we needed. Well planned out floor plan/flow. Clean, functional style. Within 10-15 of both Green Bay side as well as Lake Michigan. Only recommendation is to give clear directions to get there. It took us quite a while to find it. Follow the gravel road behind the “door county farmhouse “ and its down to the left

The property and house are beautiful. We loved the location to everything. My issue was with the management company for the property and communication. In the king room the support beams under the bed kept sliding out and making a loud sound. Fixing it required pulling the mattress partially off and holding it up so my husband could get underneath. This was from simple movements of getting on the bed, turning over, etc. we thought the first night was a fluke (Monday), when it happened again (Tuesday), I sent a message asking for someone to fix it the next day. We checked out Friday and never heard anything other than they are trying to reach someone to fix it on Wednesday. We never heard from them again until a check out message. A bed is the most BASIC thing to have in a rental you spent thousands of dollars for. There was zero urgency in caring about this. I don’t care that it happened, I care that there was no urgency or communication. If I was the owner of the property, I’d find a new management company. Do not rent with The Simple Life.

Great place

This VRBO was perfect for the quick weekend getaway we needed. We were able to take our dog, there was plenty of room and everything we could have needed was there. I do wish there was a motion light on the back of the home as when I walked my dog at night it would have been helpful. The only other issue we had was initially finding the property. The road it's on is a shared road/driveway. Google maps didn't recognize it, but I had seen a previous comment that had alluded to this issue so we were on the look out! Thanks for the great vacation spot!
