Very clean, roomy and beautiful home to stay in for our Cape trip. It had everything we needed. Great location close to shops, restaurants and private beach. Would highly recommend.

We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful property. The rooms were all decorated so fabulously, we loved the decor. Kitchen was well stocked with dishes, cookware and a variety of utensils. A great location , close to restaurant , shops and beaches. The owner checked on us and answered all our questions! So enjoyed our stay. Thank you so much. We hope to return again .

Cute house, comfortable beds, and a well-equipped kitchen.Pretty much anything other than the beach means driving somewhere, but the view is nice from that beach.This property isn’t really suitable for small kids, there’s a lot of bric a brac on open shelves and tables.The property owner lives adjacent to the house and was very available. House is in very good shape.

The house was very cute, clean, in a great location, and perfect for our Cape vacation. We were on the move most of the time (baseball camp, beach, etc.) and the location was very convenient to get to anywhere we needed to be.

The property was wonderful and Mary is a very attentive host. The house was clean and well stocked for all of our needs. Mary lives on the same property and I wish this was noted on the listing.

This was an amazing property and everyone enjoyed their stay. Location was perfect. We were able to walk to the little beach at the end of the road as well as right into Hyannis. Would highly recommend.

It is not clear in the description that the owner resides on the property. Also the 2 car spaces are length wise blocking the gate entrance therefore cars need to be moved when opening the gate. Otherwise very clean, adorable and well stocked home.

It is clear that I live in a separate house on my property with both fully fenced for privacy for guests as well as myself. Also, additional ample parking adjacent to the side driveway so there is no issue for coming and going. All provided with check in information.

We were very pleased with our stays!Mary’s house was well appointed, just as the photos showed. Lots of room for a family of 6. The kitchen had everything!Spend our one sunny day at the National Seashore, which was an easy 40 minute drive from the house. Everything we needed for the beach was provided. We would recommend Mary’s Sandtrap House!

What a beautiful cottage for our Cape Cod stay! The host was prompt with communication and so very friendly! The house was exactly what was stated and beautiful!The beds were comfortable and clean. We will definitely book it again and again!

We enjoyed our 5 day/night stay at the adorable Sandtrap. The house is homey and full of light which adds to a cheerful atmosphere. Full functioning kitchen, cozy living room and comfortable beds. Mary is very accommodating with her being on site. She is a very friendly and kind. We will definitely visit again.

The house is very clean and well stocked with everything you might need. Mary is very responsive. She was very agreeable and helpful. The location is great, close to everything you’d like to do. The yard is lovely with areas to eat, play lawn games, or have a nice cup of coffee. I personally am not a fan of micro fiber sheets. They are just too hot against the skin. I would have preferred cotton sheets. Overall, a great stay.

Oh my goodness! I would gave changed the bed sheets for you to cotton!! All of the other beds had cotton. There are ample extra cotton sheets in every room. I wish you would have told me. Especially since you communicated many times thru your stay how wonderful everything was!! Sad you chose to shine a dim light for something that could have been changed for your comfort. Next time you should tell the host so we can accommodate. Thank you!!

Property was beautifully maintained and very comfortable for our four day stay. Our hostess was a pleasure to deal with and got back to me promptly when I asked any question. Would highly recommend renting this property to anyone looking to sleep more than a few people. Location was great!!

This was the cutest cottage! We loved our stay. Plenty of room for our family. The neighborhood is very quiet and it’s a short drive to the harbor for dining and boat excursions. We really enjoyed the sunset cruise with live music. The host is exceptional. We would definitely stay again!

What a beautiful home Mary has! We loved the decor, attention to detail, fully stocked kitchen supplies and sweet little private yard. There were plenty of beds, linens, etc and the house had just what we needed for our quick stay on the Cape. Thank you Mary! We’d love to come back :).

This was a great location with access to an excellent little beach in the harbor. The beach even gets some nice shade in the evenings--as it got dark, we didn't want to leave! I originally booked a few days with my sister to celebrate her upcoming wedding with a just-us-girls' trip, and then added a couple more days for my husband and 5yo to join, and the house was perfect for all of it. The docks are close by for catching the ferry to Nantucket or Martha's Vineyard for the day. The nearby downtown area has great shopping and restaurants. Chowder and fried oysters at Black Cat were a must for us, and so incredible, and we also ended up eating at Spanky's Clam Shack twice. The hosting was fantastic as well!

We found the property to be quite lovely. The decor and colors were so beach’s and welcoming. We were there in the fall and the weather was beautiful, 65-70. The room in the back of the home with twin beds was quite warm during the day. There was a ceiling fan and a window AC in the next room but if you closed the door for privacy you couldn’t benefit from it. The rest of the home was great, very well stocked in the kitchen with anything you would need. We did have a bit of an issue with the lock box to get the keys and it turned out to be our fault. Mary was quite patient with us getting the issue resolved.The location was very convenient to several of the sights we wanted to see. We took a train ride in Hyannis and then saw the Kennedy museum. We drove to Provincetown one day and did Art’s Dune Tour. (Ask for Mark-fabulous). We went to Sandwich glass factory and on to the Heritage Museum and Gardens. All very convenient from the home. We didn’t see the beach so I can’t say anything about that. The place was close to many restaurants and shops. Mary was a wonderful hostess and we loved everything about the Cape Cod area.

There is central AC and that cools entire house. AC unit is for supplementary cooling to the rear sunroom. Thanks for your visit! :)

We were there for a 2 night stay over a holiday weekend. The house was cute and in a convenient location. There was plenty of room for 5 adults and it had all the amenities we needed. Unfortunately, the weather was very cool and the house was uncomfortably cold our first night and morning. We had to wear sweaters and jackets and that’s saying something with 5 menopausal women who are never cold. :) We were a bit upset with Mary’s initial response “Yup it’s that Fall time of year!” and “Sorry! I can't control the weather unfortunately!” We could not control the thermostat because it was locked up and we were told that she could see the temperature remotely and it never dipped below 64. Well…we could also “see” the temperature and it was 62 degrees. I also feel that a temperature of 65 is pretty cool for house guests. Since we could not adjust the temperature ourselves, it is the owners responsibility to monitor the temperature so that it’s comfortable for guests. Mary did say that she would put in the ambient wall heaters when she returned from work at 3:30 P.M. I then got a message a bit later that she would fire up the furnace. This really should have been done before our arrival! Although the house was cute and well stocked…there were notes and messages on everything which made it a bit uncomfortable. While I’m sure you have guests who have disrespected your place, so many notes and rules (along with the thermostat being locked) made it very uncomfortable.
