Stone's Throw is a cozy new cabin on a private road, just minutes to Seawall Beach, Ship Harbor, Wonderland, and Bass Harbor lighthouse. The cabin is three miles to the town center, where you can enjoy shopping and dining, and an easy twenty five minutes to Bar Harbor. The Island Explorer also picks up at the Seawall Motel, 1/2 mile from the cabin, if you would rather use the bus system to travel the island.
There is a covered porch on the front of the cabin, perfect for enjoying your morning coffee and the neighborhood deer, and a large deck off the kitchen that gets sun most of the day.
The kitchen is fully stocked with everything you need, whether grilling on the deck, or packing lunch for the beach.
The bathroom has a large walk in shower with a rain shower head and endless hot water. Perfect after a full day of hiking.
The bedroom has a king bed and blackout curtains, so you will get a great night's sleep before starting out on a new day's adventure.
Everything you need for a perfect island vacation is right here at Stone's Throw.

Seawall Sanctuary

Wonderful cabin to get away and enjoy all the natural beauty ME has to offer. Short walk to the Seawall and numerous trails. Easy drive to Cadillac Mountain. Cozy accommodations. Looking forward to going back.

Great cabin

Very cute cabin in a nice quiet location. My husband and I stayed for a long weekend, and it was perfect for just us. Everything was clean and the bed was very comfortable. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would love to return.

Anniversary get away

The cabin was absolutely perfect for our 3 day stay in Mt Desert. It was beautifully appointed and extremely comfortable and clean. Great location to Acadia and Bar Harbor. We loved every minute of our stay.

Convenient and quiet location.

Perfect getaway

The cabin is situated off of a very quiet road walking distance from Seawall. We were able to get everywhere in Acadia National park within 30 minutes from the cabin during our off-season visit. The cabin is new and clean with all the amenities we could have asked for.

Perfect Acadia location

The cabin was new, clean and well stocked. It had everything that we could ask for. The location was perfect for accessing the park. We really enjoyed the deck for relaxing after hikes. We would definitely stay here again.

Wonderful cottage!

The cottage was perfect for my husband and I, it was very clean, had everything we need for a comfortable stay. Also a great location, within a short distance to Acadia trails, a beach and Bar Harbor. We loved the town of Southwest Harbor, will definitely come back. Thanks Amy for your hospitality!
