Great place!!

This place was everything we hoped it would be! The floor to ceiling windows gives the best Gulf views! The decor is fun and colorful. Every morning we sat on the balcony to watch the sun rise and the dolphins swim. Great size kitchen! Plenty of seating! Plenty of restaurants just minutes away! Host was very friendly. Can’t wait to book another trip!

Amazing views, but…

First off, the view of the Gulf is stunning. Condo was spacious, with just about every appliance you might need. Utensils were plentiful but poorly organized. The check-in instructions said there were plenty of cutting boards; there were none. Also missing were dish cloths and kitchen towels. The ice maker didn’t work. The pool was broken. Some appliances were dirty. Some kitchen drawers had food residue in them. Advertised as a “luxury” penthouse. Plastic plants and assorted, random jungle animal statues make not “luxury”.

Adult Family Vacation

This property was an excellent choice for an all adult vacation, our first in years. The beach and beach service was exactly what we wanted it to be. No crowds on the beach and few children as most schools were still in session. The condo was close to restaurants and shopping,

Family Spring break

The condo was beautiful and very spacious. We spoke with the owner and he was very friendly and gave us information on the area. The weather didn't cooperate with us unfortunately but we enjoyed our family time together.

Great place to stay!

The condo has unbelievable views from the 10th floor! Plenty of room for the 5 of us that stayed there and all the amenities of your own home! I would recommend this unit to anyone that is looking for a great place on the beach!

Love this place

Thank you for letting us stay for our 2nd annual family beach vacation. We used to go to Destin (for over 30 years) but it got way too busy so we took action, did research and found Perdido Towers-it's a slice of HEAVEN and the owner, David is FABULOUS to work with. I'm already booking for next year.

Family vacation

The property is smaller, which equates to the beach isn’t crowded! The beach service and property staff were very helpful and easy to deal with. Having the penthouse made the condo very quiet, as no one else was on our floor. The condo is spacious with plenty of room for our family.

Great Views

We had an amazing time at Perdido Key! The views from the living room and the bedroom are amazing! The kitchen was nicely appointed and had plenty of room! Each bedroom having its own bathroom was fantastic! The beach was awesome. Only really crowded on the weekend. Tenting a chair and umbrella for the week was super easy! Communication with the property owner was great! He recommended areas to see the Blue Angels practice! Our only negative was the elevator noise in the master bedroom! It’s not something that would make us not stay here again, it just took a day or two to get used to it. We are light sleepers and live in the country where it’s very quiet! It would definitely love to visit again! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Fabulous view!

This condo is lovely, the beach/ocean view all across the front was so wonderful. The main bedroom has this view. There is a large window facing east as well. The decor is retro & colorful. I loved the freeform blue velvet sofa & ottoman & marble floors. The patio is small, but does have 3 chairs. I do recommend a stay here.

Spring break for senior citizens

Five retirees stayed at the condo for a week of warm temperatures, sunshine, and fun on the beach. We had plenty of room in the condo and found the residence to be quite comfortable. Sadly the pool was completely empty and in the process of receiving some major renovations. We were forced to enjoy the beach each day, even when we had some gale force winds. We found the other residents to be helpful regarding restaurants, which were plentiful and served delicious seafood. We truly enjoyed our stay.

Gorgeous views of the beach

Condo has fabulous views and I feel listing is accurate . Yes, it has a small balcony - but that’s how the condo is built. I did miss a large balcony . We cooked in the condo and also used the grills with no problems. Communication with owner was spot on! The only small issue was the master bedroom never felt as cool as I like. I was warm most nights Rest of condo was great! Condo decor was unique with normal wear and tear on furniture . We totally enjoyed our stay

Incredible view!

The property was perfect, clean, well supplied, and a great location. The yellow bench will become your favorite seat. We saw dolphins every morning between 7-8 am, and around 5 pm. The only issue we had was that our buildings elevator was down for 9 days, but the building has 2 elevators, with an outside crosswalk on each floor, so we managed. Parking is right in front of the building. This condo has the best view of the Gulf of anywhere we have ever stayed. The sunrises are breathtaking! Deborah 1/2019

Needs some attention

Over all we had a good time, but the kitchen is dated, microwave had paint peeling inside. The knives would not cut hot butter, even after trying to sharpen them. Master bedroom blinds will not close all the way. Master shower mixer puts out scalding water are cold water. ELEVATOR is right behind the master bedroom and needs something done to it. ! It’s loud.outher guests were sayin the same thing. Beach and pool were very nice . Family friendly crowd.

Family and Friends Spring Break

We had a very enjoyable spring break at this beautiful condo. It is decorated in a fun art deco style that was very comfortable. The sofa, chairs, and beds were all comfortable. It was chilly the first few days, and we were able to relax on the large sofa and play Monopoly and watch movies. The dining chairs were the most comfortable we’ve ever experienced in a rental! The condo is bright, with a stunning view. We loved watching the sunrises in the mornings. Our only word of advice is to utilize white noise or ear plugs to drown out road noise in the two guest bedrooms. Also, the patio furniture was also art deco style but surprisingly comfortable. That being said, maybe an extra chair, or taller chairs might be nice out there. We expected a larger balcony, but we were able to enjoy the balcony as is. Overall a beautiful, fun, and welcoming place to stay. The homeowner was great to work with, and we had absolutely no problems during our stay. Highly recommended!

Spring Break without a pool

The condo and location were beautiful. Everything inside was as described and the view was spectacular. We have never visited that part of the state during late March. As expected, there were a few cold days. If you are looking for sunny and warm every day, definitely travel farther south. We were extremely disappointed to not have the pool available during our time here as well. We traveled with 4 kids and intentionally chose a location with a pool. No indication was given that it may be closed for renovation. No communication was shared when it did actually get renovated and was known to not be available during our stay. We did not find out until we arrived from the building maintaince man. With renovations, my children also walked into their rooms several times to find painters on their balcony in the window. Very uncomfortable.

Beautiful Views with private boat dock and launch

Our family (ages 3-56) had a fantastic time. The property is as described. The beach is beautiful. For the most part it seemed visitors kept it clean of trash. It is the first time our family has vacationed in this part of the gulf, so the water was rougher than we had hoped for our 3 yr old grandson. The water was beautiful and there was a sandbar not far off shore. The beach is built up pretty high so it’s a bit of a drop off into the water. The pool area was great! Very well maintained and bathrooms were clean and stocked. The towers seem to shade the pool at the hottest parts of the day so it was nice for our grandson to be able to enjoy the pool without the worries of wearing a sun hat and swim shirt. Plenty of chairs for our girls to soak in the sun. The condo was the penthouse. It was quiet and only person we ever seen on our floor was the gentleman cleaning the hall and stair well. Never a long wait for the elevator. Other reviews have mentioned the sound of the elevator being in the master bedroom. It truly was not a bother. It was a low rumble and never once woke us or our grandson. It is strange the condo was designed without that consideration but it did not disturb our time there. Perdido Key was lovely. The Naval Museum was a must, especially with a little boy who loves all things transportation. Owner was awesome answering all our questions leading up to visit. A few upgrades to the condo would make the condo TOP notch and I will send to owner directly.

From boating and beach walks to savoring delicious local cuisine, I have made countless treasured memories in Perdido Key. My love for Perdido Key began when I was just 19, visiting with my two brothers and parents. We instantly fell in love with its charm, and before long, we found ourselves returning year after year. In 2000, we decided to buy the unit that is listed today. It turned out to be one of the best decisions we ever made.

In 2004, Hurricane Ivan hit and we lost nearly everything. It was a difficult time, but with patience, resilience, and faith, we rebuilt—bigger and better than before. The experience only deepened my gratitude for the memories we’ve created here.

When my kids were little, I can confidently say it was the perfect spot for our family vacations. As they got older, Perdido Key continued to offer something for everyone—its beauty and activities are timeless, making it the ideal destination for all ages.

Now, it’s incredibly rewarding to share our space with your family, so you can make your memories in this little slice of heaven. Perdido Key will always hold a special place in our hearts, and we’re excited to pass that love along to you!
