This is a lovely house that sits on the waterfront of the Lake Clear Outlet. It's perfect for hiking, canoeing, kayaking, snowmobile riders, fishing (ice & regular), fires by the water, playing games, and so much more. The house has a nice deck; with a fully enclosed, screened-in sitting area. The enclosed area seats eight, and is perfect for dining. Further down on the water sits a wonderful spot for fires, and a dock to sit and fish off of. It's a cozy home that is setup for lounging in-between adventures and being close with the people you love. So whether you're an outdoor person or not, this place is going to put you in the heart of Adirondack beauty. All four seasons offer so much here in the ADK's, and this place is a perfect platform from which to explore them all!

Nice waterfront place with kayaks, canoe and fishing boat available on the property. Close to bike trails (we rode to the trail entry by the fish hatchery). Loved the location! We used the barbecue, no issues. Screened porch was really nice for no-bug outside eating. We had a small plumbing issue and it was addressed immediately. Older house, but comfortable and clean. Definitely recommend!

Was a very nice peacful place to relax. Home was clean and had everything you would need. We had a busy weekend with Graduation ceremony at Paul Smith's and cleaning sons apt. It was nice to relax by the water and visit after some busy days. Would love to visit again in the future.

This was our second time staying at this property, and it was just as wonderful as the first! The location is amazing, the place is spotless and beautifully maintained, and the host is incredibly responsive. We wouldn't hesitate to book again. Highly recommend!

Great location on the inlet with fishing and boating. Lake Tupper to Placid rail to trail minutes away. VERY quiet location in the ADK!

My biggest issue with this property is that it was more like a run-down camp on the water than a nice house by the water. The location was absolutely lovely, but the house...For instance, the microwave had a broken handle that was secured by a zip tie. It took a fair amount of force to open the door, and then a sharp protrusion of plastic would likely stab you in the hand.I saw two mice, one in the basement (more understandable), but one in the living room as I was reading in the evening. The banister had a round decorative ball on it that would fall off if you touched it. Unfortunately, you tend to touch banisters. I would have just kept it off, but there were sharp screws pointing upward in an attempt to keep it secure, and I'd rather try to avoid touching a wobbly ball than get stabbed in the hand on the way down the stairs. The foosball table, which the kids love to play, had a broken goal. So if a player scored, the ball would fall onto the floor, and you'd have to chase it. That got old really fast. The pictures online made the basement look like a great hangout space, but it wasn't any place I'd be willing to even sit on the couch.Thankfully, we had great weather, so we didn't have to spend much time in the house. The calm river in the back was gorgeous, and we loved taking the kayaks out. There were plenty of dry life jackets to use, and the chair of the deck was a peaceful place to have a cup of coffee in the morning. We also saw an otter!

Hi Megan, Im so sorry you found so many issues with our small home. The key to maintaining a location out in the woods like this one is customer input and owner care and we appreciate your help. I will be sure to address each and every one of the issues you mentioned and remedy them. ADK Exploration

Overall this was an amazing place to stay! There were a few dishes that were put away dirty, but apart from that everything was spectacular!!
Road sign was a little hidden, but super cute when we spotted it!
Was extremely nice we didn't have to bring our kayaks from home!
Such a beautiful way to start the day!

Great stay for our family!

We had a fantastic stay with our 2 and 6 year old at the house. It was the perfect size for our family of 4 and we really enjoyed the yard and paddling on the super quiet lake. We would definitely stay again!

House was clean with a well equipped kitchen. Nice location on the water,providing a quiet and relaxing stay. Beds were comfortable and plenty of space for my two teenage sons, husband and I to spend time together between fishing and hiking. Deck area, screen porch, dock and fire pit and kayaks looked great, wish we'd had more time to use it all!

Lovely Cottage on Quiet body of Water

easy check-in, good wifi, nicely equipped kitchen, pleasant living room, nice back porch.Sloping lawn down to the outlet from clear pond, with lovely easy paddling and swimming on quiet stretch of water.

Fabulous fall foliage

We valued the close proximity to all the kayaking adventures, as well as, hiking. Great place for star gazing and quiet reflections by the water.

Loved hopping out in the kayaks, beautiful place to paddle. House is older, but comfy enough. Will definitely come back to paddle in the summer.

I'm a local guy who with a company in LA that builds recording studios for professional music and film engineers. My wife and I moved back here some years ago, and we live in Saranac Lake. My family owns a few vacation rentals, which I manage, in Saranac Lake and Lake Clear. This location, like the others, is near and dear to us, as it has been in our family for generations. I was born down the street in a house my father built. My brother, sister, and I were toddlers fishing off the dock of this cabin, and we have been fishing there ever since. It's lovey to share this place, and the Adirondack experience, with folks from near and far. My family and I are excited to host you!

This is a such a wonderful property. The house is perfect for four but can certainly accommodate six people. It is on the water; tucked away in nature with the unique beauty of the Adirondack Park right in the front yard. If fishing is your fancy, this is a home run. If you like to hike and explore nature, you will be stationed in the center the 46 Adirondack Peaks. The Fish Creek Pond day use area is right around the corner, and the The Wild Center in Tupper Lake is just a short drive away. The neighborhood is special and unlike any other I know.
