Baker Cabin at Colden Lodge is on the beautiful shores of Lake Flower in Saranac Lake. This delightful modified A frame waterfront cabin is perfect for a couple. Appointed in classic Adirondack style this fully winterized cozy waterfront cabin has Air Conditioning, a private dock, fire pit, sandy beach access, a full kitchen, queen sized bedroom, living room and private hot tub. With access to over 50 miles of contiguous waterways and lakes via Oseetah, Kiwassa, Lower and Middle Saranac Lakes. Baker Cabin at Colden Lodge is a very unique waterfront location this certain to impress.

Cozy cabin with a hot tub

My husband and 8-month-old stayed here for two nights in February and though it was very cold and snowy, we were cozy and warm at this cabin on lake flower. We especially appreciated the use of the hot tub, which was cleaned before our stay. Our host met us when we checked in, even though we arrived late, and made sure that we found everything we needed. Thank you so much for your kind accommodation, Walter!

Man, it was cold!

Fantastic little cabin...real cold weekend, but cabin was perfectly weatherized and warm. Special thanks to host for helping with the luggage sled and for blowing the snow off the paths (14.5 inches). Will definitely consider another Summer/Fall run up there to experience more of what the Saranac Lake Community has to offer!

Perfect little cabin

This is perfect for a cozy romantic winter getaway. We talked about coming back when it's warmer to enjoy the lake as well. Would recommend!

We've stayed here twice now and we love the location and overall feel of the cabin. We have busy lives and its nice to go to a place thats close enough to town but has a remote feel if you want to just get away

Fantastic Stay!

Such a great stay in Saranac Lake! Bobby met us upon arrival and gave us the lay of the land. The cabin was beautifully decorated and the bottle of Prosecco for NYE was a nice touch. The hot tub came in clutch after some long hikes. We truly loved our time here!

Cozy cabin

It was very cozy and very rustic feeling. The hosts were very friendly and gave great advice on a hike/walk for us! Perfect for a couple. Loved sitting on the outside deck. Great area for taking a walk too. We walked into town, close proximity.

Cozy cabin

Loved our little hideaway on the water, tucked away in the trees. It was initially difficult to find until our friendly property manager Walter found US, looking confused as we drove back and forth. Great place to spend a relaxing couple of days in a gorgeous environment.

Cozy cabin!

This cabin has the three C’s for a relaxing stay in a beautiful area… Clean, Cozy, Comfy! We loved sipping coffee on the dock, sitting by the fire pit and soaking in the hot tub. The wonderful hosts are close by and available yet the cabin feels completely private. With an easy walk to the town of Saranac Lake you will find many options for dining, shopping and local entertainment. Nearby hiking and opportunities for adventure make this the perfect location for a fun getaway!

Beautiful fall getaway

We thoroughly enjoyed our 4-night stay at the Baker Cabin! It was cosy for the two of us, and we loved spending each evening on the dock overlooking the lake. Easy walk into town, and plenty to do in the area. Would definitely come back!

Relaxing retreat

My husband and I went for a weekend away to celebrate 15 years. It was just what we needed. A Cozy little escape, very relaxing, everything we could’ve hoped for. The hot tub really made it perfect! We met Bobby (the owner) who was very personable and pleasant to speak with. The property is only going to get better with the effort and work they continue to put into it. Highly recommend for a low maintenance weekend away for 2!

Perfect cozy cabin with hot tub and everything you could possibly need !

The cabin was perfect! Great location for exploring the Adirondack’s . We brought our own kayaks for exploring nearby lakes. Also borrowed one of the double kayak’s available at cabin for paddling in Saranac Lake ! Loved relaxing in the hot tub or just sitting around fire pit after a long day hiking or paddling !

Very nice

Unfortunately didn’t get much time at it as my girlfriend ended up in the hospital 1 hour after arrival. But it is a nice cabin in a nice location. The property manager is a great person.

Clean Cozy Waterfront Cabin

The cabin was small but very clean and perfect for a couple. Firepit and hot tub by the waterfront made for relaxing evenings. Close to restaurants, ice cream bar and access to plenty of waterways for boating, kayaking and fishing. Beautiful mountains and peaceful surroundings. Lots of hiking options close by. Bobby was an excellent host and Walter was very helpful. Thank you for sharing your property with us!

Cozy little getaway

We spent our honeymoon in the Baker cabin and it was WONDERFUL! We loved the deck and the grill. We utilized the hot tub almost every night. Thw neighborhood is wonderful to walk around. We loved that it was dog friendly. Its very close to the middle of Saranac Lake, within waling distance if you like to walk. Would be nice to bike there too if you had them. We are already looking forward to coming back!

Weekend getaway

Beautiful cabin, love the hot tub, lake was beautiful and we loved kayaking. Perfect location. Driveway is a little tricky to find and a pretty steep hill, but was not a problem once our host showed us the way. Perfect weekend getaway for me and my husband.

Wonderful Lakeside Cabin!

The cabin was perfect, and we loved the fire pit and dock with a beautiful view of the lake. Bobby was very helpful in getting us settled in, and the overall stay was perfect. We look forward to coming back!

I've always said I was raised in Ho-Ho-Kus, but I grew up in the Adirondacks and what an absolutely great place to grow up in. The sheer level of exciting and challenging things to do is unparalleled. Diana and I have been coming up to Saranac Lake and the Adirondacks every summer since I left in '84, and she always knew we would return and buy a house. Maybe not quite the monster that Colden Lodge is but it was just too much of a classic to pass up. Plus, we needed something to do when we retire. So, relax and enjoy it as much as we do.

Combined with its relatively secluded lakeside location and its proximity to the village of Saranac Lake at just 1 mile, Colden Lodge is just perfectly located. With the town located just 1 mile, Lake Placid at 9 miles, Whiteface at 19 miles and The Wild Center in Tupper Lake at 20 miles Colden Lodge is the perfect place to launch your adventures from in the Adirondacks. There are also countless trailheads, lakes, rivers and streams all in between. I guess that’s more than one thing, but you get the gist of it.
