Panoramic View, Awesome Sunset - 3BR Condo on Folly River
Sunset 98, Mariner’s Cay is ideally situated in the southwest corner of the Mariner’s Cay compound giving guests a panoramic view of the Folly River as well as knockout sunsets from the wrap-around porch. Mariner’s Cay is a gated community of residents and renters, which offers guests not only a swimming pool and tennis courts but also is only minutes away from the beaches and town of Folly Beach either by car, golf cart, bicycle or walking. The privacy and lack of traffic is perfect for small children and teenagers to bike, trike, skateboard or just hang out.
Since Sunset 98 is a corner unit, the view and the light upon entry is one of those ‘wow’ moments. With a southwestern exposure, the kitchen/dining/living area is totally open to the Folly River and marshes, including the occasional school of marlin. The next ‘wow’ moment comes at sunset when one must get a drink, hurry to the balcony and allow him/herself to be awed.
As can be seen by the photos, the unit has a large, master bedroom opening onto the balcony; a twin bedroom off the rear balcony and a double bedroom in the southeast corner for those who just want to get away for a nap or a good book. The open living area has a newly installed flat screen HDTV on a wall pivot, ie, no messing around by the kids...DVD is also included. In addition, both the master and double bedrooms have flat screen HDTVs, and for those who can’t completely get away, wireless is available throughout the unit.
Folly Beach is a six mile long barrier island, and the closest beach to historic Charleston, South Carolina (15 minutes on the Connector) where one can find outstanding cuisine, the performing arts and Civil War history.
During summer season (May 23-Aug. 30), we rent by the week and our turnover day is Saturday. Check-in: 3:00 PM; Check-out: 10:00 AM

Relaxing and quiet stay
We absolutely enjoyed our stay here. Views were wonderful every day, boats, pelicans, dolphins, sunsets! Would highly recommend and would stay here again.

This was our 4th time staying at this property and it has been wonderful every time. Love the views, the laid back atmosphere of Folly, and the very comfortable condo. We’ll be back!

Both the host and property manager were easy to deal with and always available.. The only thing we wish was availability were a pair of binoculars…The sun sets were amazing and the location was centralized…I highly recommend staying at this unit..

Beautiful comfortable property with excellent views of Folly River. 2 minute drive down Folly Beach Rd to Folly Beach and all the restaurants. Large comfortable shared pool. Other guests at the complex were very friendly.

A perfect place!
Our family had an amazing stay at the condo! The condo was very clean, had everything that we needed, and of course, had gorgeous views. Great location for Folly Beach and Charleston! We absolutely loved our stay and will be back! Highly recommend!

Great views!
The condo was a great place for us to stay while in Folly Beach. The view was amazing and the location was great as well. Lois was very attentive and helpful. Would definitely stay here again!

Girls weekend
Great condo- perfect for a getaway! Super close to Folly Beach and only a short ride to downtown. Rooms were well-apportioned and the VIEW can’t be beat! Would definitely stay again!

Great spot for a trip to Folly Beach/Charleston
The location of the condo is perfect for easy access to Folly Beach or trips into Charleston. The views from the wrap-around balcony are spectacular, especially the sunsets. Thanks to Lois and Frannie for their support before and during our stay.
