The house was very cute and clean. The location was great. It was easy to put our boat in the water and explore the river and the gulf. The river was beautiful. We enjoyed kayaking and morning coffees on the dock swing watching the gorgeous nature all around.

The mermaid house is an absolute dream!! The mermaid decorations were so cute. The patio out back is huge!! I was so excited to use the margaritaville blender. Love the porch swing on the river. We can’t wait to come back soon! Such an awesome trip!

Great location and the host was timely with communication! Location was good for access to fish in the gulf and people watch from the house. Saw a dolphin and manatees pass by the house as well.

Great location directly on the main river with two dock/sitting areas and steps going down into the water. Screened in porch with view of the river with lots of seating.

The house was exactly as advertised, we had a group of 8, 2 adults and 6 children and we fit perfectly in the space. Everyone loved the kayaks and watching the manatees swim by. My son says he wants to come back to this house next summer. That’s high praise as he is pretty much impossible to please. Karen made check in a breeze and checked on us throughout our stay to make sure all was well. I highly recommend this house for a fun and relaxing getaway.

10/10! Home was great! Host is wonderful and responsive. Weeki Wachee is steps out the back door. Best home we saw that is right on the water. House is very clean and well kept.

Absolutely amazing with lots of wildlife - otters manatees turtles dolphins and monkeys. We felt no need to go anywhere else our entire stay. One of the few places I’d book again.

Host was very helpful and accommodating for our stay at the mermaid house, house was clean, welcoming and very well situated on the river to do a lot of manatee and boater watching, beds were very comfortable. All in all this was a great stay for us trqveling from seattle to weeki wachee.

Living our best river life! 🛶 Between the kayaking, fishing, and tree-jumping, we didn't want the days to end. We even got lucky with the local wildlife—dolphins, otters, manatees, and turtles all made an appearance! Wish we had a few more days, but we’ll be back soon!

This house is in the perfect location on the main river. The house and kitchen are well appointed for any length of stay. We saw so many manatees, a river otter and a pair of dolphins. The weather was rainy one day and the screened porch was the ideal location to sit and relax while still enjoying the river view. Karen is a fantastic host. She was very responsive to my questions and so kind. We can’t wait to return!

This place was fabulous! Had such a wonderful experience and will be back in the future. Perfect water just steps away and we saw dolphins and manatees every day we were there. Clean, quiet and comfortable.

Amazing place!

Beautiful property, clean and quiet. The house was well stocked and you can tell that the owner takes time to provide small conveniences to make your stay pleasant.
