We had a magical stay! House was great, kitchen had all the amenities that we needed to cook and grill delicious meals. Beds were comfy and living room couch was awesome.

The back yard was awesome and the floating dock makes kayaking and paddle boarding so easy. This is the best host I’ve experienced and I’ve stayed at a lot of places. Our family enjoyed our stay! We loved watching the manatees off the dock. We spent a lot of our time outside or on the river. Just a quick boat ride to weeki wachee river and the gulf. We enjoyed spring water and a little island time!

Beautiful property on great corner lot! Immaculate upon arrival and has everything you need. Beds are very comfortable and lots of extra bedding/pillows. We had a wonderful time and would recommend

My family and I had a great stay! We loved the dock and float pad and easy access to load the kayaks into the water. A few of the kayaks could use the back rest replaced, otherwise they we're great. The house is amazing and has plenty of space for a large family. We would definitely rent this place again!

We had a great time. Spent the days on the water. Star gazed at night. There is a lot to do. Indoor and outdoor games for the in between times. Upper Deck was our go to for good food with a fun atmosphere. The house has some of the prettiest art I have seen in a vacation rental. You can tell Lynda puts her heart and soul into being an excellent host. We will for sure go back. The house was very clean, with lots of thoughtful extras.

First of all, this host is wonderful. She was friendly and accommodating from start to finish! She even arranged for an anniversary message left on the frig for us! The property is spacious, quiet and located well to paddle up or down stream!!! We are very happy that we stayed here. We were super comfortable and everything felt clean. Everything is so well-thought-out. It gave us a beautiful opportunity to slow down. As a fellow crafter I really loved looking around and seeing all of her creations and handiwork. My husband came home wanting to add more mermaids to our decor!! 🧜 🧜 The place felt so welcoming from the minute we walked in! Absolutely loved the fishy channel and peaceful music on the TV waiting for us. Everything down to the little details like kitchen and bathroom essentials were well thought out. The beds were comfy and well appointed. There were blocks, books and puzzle books that really encourage you to slow down and just rest and play...... and we're young empty-nesters!! We saw the most gorgeous sunsets. And thoroughly enjoyed our stay! We will definitely be back and we'll tell friends and familyWe rented a "Fun Boat" that was actually designed by her neighbor and was delivered to her dock for us and we were able to explore all day, see manatees, swim in the crystal clear water, explore the amazing all waterfront neighborhood! Highly recommend!

fun weekend getaway. It was comfortable and clean. Was just as described. Nice small details. Lynda is a great host and super responsive. Main river is about a 10 min paddle, You can swim off the dock. Quiet, chill family getaway

The Mermaid House was the best place we have rented. Lynda really thought of everything to make our stay fun. The house is super cute, cozy, and clean. We had our 2 grandsons and use everything inside and out. We played karaoke, boards games, Cornhole and ring toss. We used the kayaks, clear boat, paddles boards, cooked out, relaxed on the floating dock, morning coffee on the patio and had a camp fire at night. The Hospital Hole Spring was a short paddle away where we saw so many Manatees. We stayed 4 nights and wished we stayed longer! Lynda was very accommodating we had a late flight home and she let us stay the whole day. We can't wait to come back!

Mermaid Tails was a great house for us. We had family over while staying and the little kids loved all the playthings for children. The adults like that it is just a short paddle to the river. The house was very clean and internet service worked well for us. When an item was missing that had been shown as available with the house, the owner went to the extra effort to see that it was provided. We would definitely stay again.

An absolute gem of a VRBO.

This place was so awesome. It was just a long weekend getaway for the fam before school started back up and we couldn't have picked a better place. The place was recently remodeled and decorated and it's just so comfortable and clean. So many little details make this place great. Lynda is a wonderful host, super responsive and you can tell she really goes out of her way to make it a great experience. The river is a short paddle up the canal and the kids had a blast just swimming off of the dock. We even saw a pod of dolphins swim right up to the dock. It was unreal. I really can't say enough good things about this place. One of the best VRBO we've ever stayed at.

Lots of fun and relaxing, too!

This is a beautiful and well-maintained property that's on the outside corner of two canals, one that provides a long view to the west.Kayaking and paddle boarding are what draw us to Weeki Wachee; this house is perfect for both! The four single kayaks were in good shape (we never took out the double). Good selection of paddles. A carpeted boat ramp makes launching easy. The singles have bow ropes attached, which make for easy towing if somebody gets tired. One of the two paddleboards is a Lifetime Freestyle XL. It's big (116" x 36"), and thus great for beginners.The house has plenty of small amenities that we appreciated: Lots of really nice art, including a fabulous mermaid painting and a sea-life filled manatee-shaped shadow box. Cable TV (vs. just streaming services). A box of charging blocks and a full set of cables. Cool selection of coffee table magazines with some I'd never seen, like AFAR. A beautiful wooden chess set.I don't know if Lynda will continue to provide bicycles in the future but I sure hope she does because we LOVE bicycling at Weeki Wachee! It's fun to explore the roads that wind along beside the canals and roll past all the interesting houses, or bike to the Upper Deck for some food. For longer rides, Cortez has bike lanes all the way to Commercial and then Commercial has concrete paths that are separated from the highway. Cycling the residental streets at night with headlamps is sublime.We liked it so much that we added on five more days!

This is the cleanest VRBO we have stayed in. Well stocked with everything you could need. Rent to go boats!!! We loved renting them from myroundboat. They dropped off at the deck. Everything was easy from check in to check out.

My family and I had an absolute blast staying at this property! Lynda is a great host and has literally thought of everything you might need, which was very helpful for us because we flew and packed very lightly. The beds were super comfortable and we used both the kitchen and grill for cooking dinners. We had everything we needed plus more for that. We also had fun with the very large array of games to play! Our favorite thing by far was the manatees hanging out right off of our dock! We took the kayaks (and rented a go boat one day) out to the main river which was beautiful but we found the manatee were really enjoying the calmness of our water area much more so than the chaos of the river (a LOT of people each day we went out). We hung out with a group of 5 manatees (including a baby!) for probably 30 minutes one day on the water right off of the dock. We loved just sitting and watching them go under us and even popping up to check us out multiple times! Thank you Lynda for sharing your wonderful house with us!
