Riverfront Cabin: Relax and Renew on the New River

The sounds and views of the beautiful New River with the Blue Ridge mountains as the backdrop greet you. A perfect place to sit on the large front deck, watch the river and simply relax and recharge. Your new riverfront home includes a spacious living area with the comforts of home - a large flat screen TV and internet. Vaulted ceilings with loft and gas fireplace with a fully equipped kitchen await. There are three bedrooms and loft space, with a master on the first floor and two bedrooms on the second floor so that everyone has their own space. Your new home away from home has two and a half baths and a washer/dryer. The loft is a perfect place to read, watch TV or play games. The back deck gives you a great view of the surrounding woods with a gas grill. Enjoy all the river has to offer with tubing, kayaking, and fly fishing. Todd General Store and Mercantile are just a short walk away. Visit Boone and West Jefferson which are only 20 min away for shopping, sightseeing, and many other activities. Whatever you need to relax and renew - this riverfront cabin is the place for you!

Great cabin in a beautiful and quiet location. All appliances and facilities worked just fine. Loved the sight and sound of the river. Would loved to have stayed longer than 2 nights, but our schedule didn't allow. Communication with owner and property manager was minimal and via Email, but was perfectly adequate. Thanks to all concerned. Mike Taylor and Family.

The place was very clean and inviting. Love the view of the river. Watched the deer off the back porch while sitting outside. All the locals were very kind. We think it needs blinds on the windows. The rain gutters need a gutter guard system. The hand rail on steps needs addressed. Other than that we absolutely loved it.

Our home away from home

We've been coming to the Todd cabin nearly every year for 14 years. We love this house and the space and the area. If you want a quiet mountain retreat with the convenience of city living and loads to do (or not!), this is the spot for you.

On the River in Todd

This is our second stay at your river cabin. We love staying here. The location is great for tubing, relaxing, and enjoying nature.

Great place to stay!!!

we truly enjoyed the riverfront view. Todd had a Square dance Friday night which was so much fun. Then we came back to relax at a warm, snuggly cabin. It was truly a wonderful trip.

Beautiful Getaway

Beautiful cabin. Plenty of room for the whole family. Far enough away from town to have total peace and quiet but just a short twenty-minute drive to anything you might need. Will defiantly stay here again.

Long weekend

Weekend Getaway

This was the second time we have stayed at this cabin. We had a very relaxing time and the location is very peaceful! I love that you can hear the river as soon as you walk outside. We will be back!

Nice cabin

The cabin was nice. It was clean for the most part but needs a deep cleaning, and the mouse in the kitchen needs to go.

Getaway to Todd NC

Location was perfect. View of river off the front porch was great. Cabin was spacious and the fireplace and ceiling fans kept the entire cabin warm. The cleanliness of the kitchen in particular was atrocious. There were numerous insect/rodent droppings in the lower cabinets. I would not stay again without knowing the entire cabin had been deep cleaned.

Our grandparents and dad were born nearby and the family church grounds were on this property. After the church moved, our grandparents purchased the land. Our dad's dream was to build a cabin on this property which became a reality a few years ago. After our dad passed away, our mom was diagnosed with Alzheimer's and the rental income from our cabin helps provide for her care. We enjoy sharing this special place and hope you find renewed energy and love for life as you enjoy God's blessings here.
