Private, Peaceful Retreat panoramic views of Lake Austin from living room and outdoor deck with private lake access walking distance. Voted best view in Austin!
This home is perfect for those seeking a peaceful, quiet retreat proximate to modern convenience. 15/20 mins to downtown Austin
-2 bedrooms. One has a queen bed the other has a pullout sofa bed. Both are decorated nicely and have clothing space.
The bathroom has a full size bathtub and has just been reglazed
Kitchen comes with all things to make a full meal.
*Some kitchen cabinets are locked as they are private. Living room has a 60” smart tv with all of the apps installed
Bluetooth stereo speaker, Record player with vinyl, books, games etc
Coffee maker with complimentary coffee & tea for our guests in the mornings
Our house is on a private dead end street so lots of peacefulness and beautiful walking trails right outside of the door
-Jacuzzi is a soft tub outside and requires an extra fee for heating and cleaning. Plz message us at least 3-4 days prior if you’d like us to set that up
*we offer early check in and late check out (if available) for an extra fee plz inquire prior
*We have lake access within a 5 minute walking distance with a private HOA swim dock and tennis court.
Rules:
* Please read all rules before booking as these are very important and cannot be changed at all No refunds are accepted and you must verbally state that you agree in the messages. Rules: -no animals of any kind are allowed including service animals
-no smoking of any kind is allowed
-no parties or social gatherings with more than 4 people are allowed at all times
-main person booking must be over the age of 25 years of age no boats are allowed to be parked in our driveway

*there is a security camera outside only that records and monitors 24 hrs a day for security purposes. If any of these rules are broken you will be asked to vacate the home Asap and will not receive a refund *You will be the only ones staying at the house of course , we do lock a few closets and some of the cabinets as we live here part time as it’s not for use.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this Lake House. Was not too far away to get downtown, or hard to find the house. Everything needed was accessible and clean. I recommended looking through their guidebook as we found some cool spots. Overall an amazing experience and a gorgeous view.

Very disappointing for the price — beautiful view, but poorly maintained property and poor communicationUnfortunately, our stay at this property was extremely disappointing, especially considering the price we paid. The property was advertised as a house, but it felt much more like a very run-down mobile home. The overall condition, lack of basic amenities, and maintenance issues were not what we expected based on the listing.We were only able to comfortably use the guest bedroom, and we were surprised to find out that someone actually lives at the property permanently. The guest bathroom had no cabinets or shelving, making it difficult to even have a place to put toiletries and personal items while getting ready. The guest bed was extremely uncomfortable. The mattress was so thin that you could feel the springs underneath you, making it very difficult to get a good night’s sleep.The property does have an amazing view of the river, which was definitely the highlight of the stay. Unfortunately, we couldn’t really enjoy the outdoor area because there was very limited seating, and much of the furniture was in extremely poor condition and felt unsafe or unstable. There were holes in some of the furniture, a broken table that was leaning over, and the wicker furniture appeared to be rotten and deteriorating. We also could not use the jacuzzi. It was empty and appeared to be an inflatable type of jacuzzi that wasn’t set up for use during our stay.

We’re disappointed by this review because many of the complaints presented as surprises were clearly disclosed in our listing before this reservation was made. The listing clearly explains the property’s setup, including that the home is owner-occupied, the amenities provided, the outdoor areas, and the specific features of the property. The listing photos also provide guests with an accurate representation of the home and furnishings. These details are available to guests before booking, so they should not come as a surprise upon arrival. In particular, the reviewer states that they were “surprised” that someone permanently lives at the property. This is explicitly disclosed in the listing. Similarly, the comments regarding the property’s amenities and outdoor setup are based on features that are visible in the listing and photographs prior to booking. We understand that every guest has different expectations and preferences regarding mattresses, furniture, storage, and amenities. However, a personal preference does not mean that a property was misrepresented. Guests are responsible for carefully reviewing the listing, photos, amenities, and house information before making a reservation to ensure the property is a good fit for their needs. We do take legitimate maintenance concerns seriously and address issues when they are brought to our attention. What we cannot control is whether a guest chooses to book a property after having access to the information describing it. Beautiful View

My granddaughter and I had the best time staying here. With floor-to-ceiling windows in the living area, we had a perfect view of the lake. We enjoyed our walks throughout the pretty neighborhood. The host was very attentive and the house was clean and tidy. We would definitely stay there again!

Perfect for a weekend getaway

My husband and I booked this home for a weekend trip to getaway during our anniversary vacation. My hubby can be difficult to please but couldn’t stop complimenting the choice I made on this house! We enjoyed the views of the lake and the location was beautiful, with plenty of great food and parks nearby to try.

Great location and a great host!

Had a great time staying at this beautiful gem! Views are hard to beat. The house is very clean and everything was working as intended. No issues getting in or anything else. Casey is a great host and provided us with everything we needed!

Million dollar views

My family came down to celebrate my husband‘s birthday. Wonderful views easy access to the lake. Would definitely recommend this property.
