Floor to ceiling glass windows provide unobstructed panoramic ocean views. You can see spectacular sunsets, giant sea turtles, dolphins, and whales from the comfort of our living room and the lanai. The sounds of the ocean are relaxing - a perfect soundtrack to this paradise. Walk only 100 feet to reach one of the most famous beaches in the world to sun, snorkel, boogie board, and snooze. Travel channel ranks the beach in front of this condo as one of the premier beaches in the United States and Sunset Magazine described it as offering the best swimming and snorkeling in all of Kauai. We had a great time! The view is spectacular! Because it is an older unit there were a few issues but overall it had all the amenities we needed. This was our second stay in this condo.

Our family of three came to Kauai for the first time and had a wonderful time. Kauai is filled with so much natural beauty and slower pace of life. It was super relaxing! The condo unit is older like others have mentioned, but it was a wonderful home base for us and very clean. The AC was super nice and definitely hard to find at other properties. We enjoyd eating and sitting on the lanai every day. Right next door is Baby Beach and it has some of the best snorkeling around. It is a little rough so go early in the morning. It was an easy drive to Poipu Beach where we saw turtles every late afternoon or evening beach themselves to sleep and even saw some monk seals! The snorkeling there was more calm and we saw a lot of fish too. The location of the condo is super great and hearing and watching the waves every day was such a treat. Don't miss the beautiful sunsets just to the right of the building. The farmer's market at the shopping canter on Wednesdays is not to be missed either. We bought the most delicious fruit there, and the best pineapple ever called a honey pineapple. Definitely would stay here again!

Very accommodating with more than enough kitchen utensils, plates, and appliances. The view from the lanai is breathtaking! The condo is very clean and accessible to nearby beach. Highly recommend this property.

Really an amazing property. The view was awesome and the place was very clean. The only negative was the 78 degree rule for the AC. This is too hot to sleep. We opted to open doors and windows to get a nice sea breeze at night but was still a bit warm and noisy. However, the place was great and I would stay there again as I already miss watching the surfers every day.

The views of the ocean were by far the best part about the stay and the location was good. Having use of an AC was a bonus.Overall the property was good and it had everything that was needed. The property is a bit outdated and we had an issue with one of the beds being broken. The shower situation in the second bedroom is a bit unusual and makes that room more humid, which doesn’t have any air conditioner.I also want to point out that while the property does list there is a washer and dryer, the unit itself does not have them. Rather, they are shared with other tenants on the floor and you do have to pay to use them. We looked at the machines and they left a little to be desired.

All the amenities, despite being somewhat dated, were in good order. Unit is well equipped with supplies, beach equipment, games, books, etc. View is beyond spectacular.

Condo was perfect for our family of 4. Quiet with perfect view of the ocean. We watched surfers every evening showing off their skills. Minutes away from Poipu Beach, Koala Food Trucks, shipwrecked beach, Pk Beach and Spouting Hole. We snorkeled every day but one due to Kona storm that rolled through. And on that rainy day, we went shopping at the cute boutiques!Condo had everything we needed - towels, beach towels, beach chairs, coolers so we could pack sandwiches and drinks, kitchen stocked with everything you need to make dinners after day exploring the island. We will stay here again on our next visit!

Awesome spot - comfortable, clean and easy. Snorkeling and sunsets steps away and watching the surfers and the turtles in the water right below the lanai was amazing. We had such a great time during our stay - Mahalo!

Perfect for our family

We had a great time at the condo. Perfect for our family of four (2 kids ages 21 and 18). It was clean and spacious and the view was amazing. Also, south island location couldn’t be beat. Hope to be back someday!

Perfect location, great view!

We really enjoyed our stay. Poipu Shores is in a very good location. The view is marvelous. The property appears to be well-maintained. We had a wonderful time, and we booked a stay again next year!

Winter Kauai Vacay!

This condo was amazing! The view of the ocean was priceless! Location was amazing and right next to one of the best snorkeling sites! Grateful for our time at this condo!
