The house was perfect for four couples who were on the island for golf, but would also be great for families. The neighborhood is lovely and quiet with a short walk to the beach. Daryn was wonderful to work with and extremely accommodating.

The heated pool and backyard were easily the highlights of this property. Firm and comfortable beds, great Wi-Fi, smart TVs in every room, extra beach chairs, and good W/D. Hosts were also kind, empathetic, and responsive throughout our stay. The home’s cleanliness and overall condition were disappointing. Upon arrival, there was no running water, requiring us to locate and turn on the main valve in the front yard outside in the dark. Thankfully I had my own wrench in the van, saving us from waiting on an emergency plumber after a long drive. One bathroom had significant fecal spray covering the interior and parts of the exterior of the toilet, which we had to clean ourselves without any toilet cleaner or brush; using a majority of the ONE roll of paper towel provided in the home. Also discovered a live cockroach beneath the shower mat and colony of ants crawling from the baseboards onto the dining table. One of the bedrooms had crumbs in the bed sheets and a leftover open bag of goldfish snacks in the drawer. Thankfully, hosts had cleaners come (after 2 nights) to address these issues.Upon arrival, all bathrooms had condensation dripping from the ceilings before anyone had showered. House smelled damp and musty. One primary bedroom door doesn’t close, gets stuck causing a lack of privacy and loud exits. Bath towels and cloths were stained and basic toiletries weren’t provided. Outside recycling was full upon arrival, leftover trash and heavy bug infestation in bins.

Loved the location and owners were very responsive. Interior was clean. The only issue internally was the closest in the front back part of the house had a very musty smell so did not feel comfortable putting our clothes and items in that closest. Externally the back landscaping was not kept up, the deck was not inviting and clean and while the pool was heated it required us to keep up the daily cleaning.

I'm so glad you loved the location, and I hope you all enjoyed the early check in! Our yard maintenance is done every single week - I believe the maintenance you are referring to is the falling of leaves from our trees. One of the wonderful things about our property is our tree cover. Unfortunately this time of year, we are at the mercy of Mother Nature, and with the falling leaves, some amount of pool skimming is necessary. We do provide a leaf blower in the garage for easy clean off of the deck. If I had known your group was frustrated by this I could have helped. I truly hoped you enjoyed your stay!

Great house! Plenty of room for our large group of 13. It is located in a very nice neighborhood. We drove to the beach, which was only minutes away. We never had any problem with parking but some say parking can be limited. They do offer a trolley within Sea Pines that will drop you off at beach. Plenty of beach towels, beach chairs and beach toys. Beaches are nice and clean. We enjoyed cooking our meals. Kitchen is well stocked. Loved the beautiful kitchen table, great size for large family. The backyard was beautifully landscaped around the pool. Very nice pool to enjoy. There is a grill with propane provided. There was a deer that visited daily. Harbour Town with the lighthouse is within the resort and only a 5 min drive. Large playground for kids. Few restaurants there. We ate at the Crazy Crab with all the grandkids. The food was good. Also ordered pizza from Giuseppe’s. It was good. Everyone in the area was so friendly and nice. You do have to pay for a pass to drive into the Sea Pines Resort. It’s 10 a day or only 20 for the week. That’s per car. Be sure to tell them you are staying in the resort to get the weekly rate. We loved Hilton Head and we definitely stay at this property again.

This is the first time that we have rebooked a property for the following year before we even checked out! This house was perfect for a week’s stay with our grandchildren. The pool was a huge hit and the water was wonderfully warm. There is plenty of comfortable space for everyone to enjoy both inside and out. Bedrooms are spacious and relaxing. The beach is beautiful and a very manageable walk along Sea Pines fabulous bike paths. Daryn, our host, was absolutely wonderful to work with and was very responsive to any questions we had. We can’t wait to come back next year and make more wonderful family memories!

House was very clean. Loved the layout of the home. Beds were very comfortable. Everyone rested well. The house is a very short walk to the beach. The heated pool was amazing.

Loved our stay

Perfect property for our ladies college reunion. Exactly as advertised and pictured. Homeowner, daryn, could not have been easier to work with. The pool was our favorite hang out space. We had a fabulous time!

Family Fun

Great house, perfect for families. Could ride bikes to beach and restaurants, and the heated pool was awesome! Would definitely come back!

Great place

This place worked perfect for our family and friends. The sleeping arrangements are perfect for a group with all the bathrooms. The loft was great for the kids. Fairly close to beach. We enjoyed the pool and deck on days we didn’t go to beach.

Great property with lots of room, nice pool, tree covered yard. Close to the golf course for Heritage weekend and halfway between harbor town and salty dog!
