Our stay at Vicino al Mare

We had a great stay at Vicino al Mare. The home has a great layout for a large group. We had 9 people in our group. The home was very clean and well appointed; especially the kitchen as we cooked numerous meals. Linda and Jay are great hosts. We had an issue with a toilet and it was addressed within two hours. This is the primary reason that we rent through Beachside HHI…quick problem resolution! We're looking forward to our return trip for next fall.

Perfect Vacation Home

Everything about this property was amazing. We were so impressed with the cleanliness of the home. The kitchen was very well equipped. The pool was so clean and fun. I would definitely recommend this home to anyone and everyone.

Excellent stay at a wonderful house. Very clean and well apportioned. We fully enjoyed the use of the pool and spa. The location is terrific, with just a short bike ride to the beach. The area is idyllic and made us feel like we were staying inside a park. Excellent communication from the owners/ management, they covered all the details and made sure our stay was perfect. We would love stay here again.

Wonderful home

This was our second year staying in one of Jay's and Linda's homes and once again we could not have been happier. We had a larger group this year and so needed a larger home. Vicino Al Mare was outstanding in every way for our needs and wowed us the moment we walked through the front door!. We love the location in Sea Pines and spent most of our time in the pool, which was perfect especially with 2 small children, along with the spa. The house was exceptionally clean and well stocked and the furnishings, linens, etc. all felt high end. We also loved that there were two living areas to hang out in. We highly recommend this property and hope to return again!

Vinco del Mar

What a great home for a family!!! We had 4 adults and 3 grandchildren. The 4 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms gave all of us plenty of private space. The kitchen was so stocked…even plastic plates, cups, bowls for our little kids. Plenty of pans, pots, baking dishes for a family of 7. All our requests were answered so quickly and efficiently. The home was immaculate and so convenient to the beach. The pool and hot tub were perfect for time after the beach. LOVED THIS HOME!!!

February at Vicino al Mare

We stayed for 2 weeks in February and couldn't have been more pleased. The home was fantastic. We especially enjoyed the open floor plan and the heated hot tub. The location was perfect--a short walk to the beach. And, as always, Linda and Jay were available from pre-arrival to departure with helpful hints and assistance anytime we needed anything. We're already looking forward to our next stay with Beachside HHI.

Perfect Location

Loved the layout of the house. Plenty of seating. Small details make an impression: slices of all types were provided, as well as laundry, dish pods, and extra paper towels and trash bags. We customarily bring all of that, but I thought that was thoughtful.

Great home.

The house is great. Perfect setup for two families with split bedrooms across the house. Nice open concept with a good area for kids to hang out and have their own tv. We had an issue with the fridge which was annoying and a waste of a lot of food but it was addressed quickly. Nice that laundry pods/dishwasher pods/shampoo/body wash was included. Would absolutely stay here again.
Bikes allowed on the beach and the kids had a BLAST. Would recommend the bike rental.

Unbelievable experience! I’ve stayed at many homes but this one was perfect! The management team is spectacular: we needed extra pillowcases and the linen company couldn’t deliver so they ordered new ones and had them delivered! First class service! Every question we had they were very kind and patient with us as this was our first visit to HH. The house was spotless and very convenient to everything. We certainly will return and may rent for a longer period! Many thanks to the owner in letting us rent this wonderful property!

Perfection. Roomy, beautiful, tastefully done, incredibly clean. Kitchen is beyond well-appointed. Comfy everything. Pool & hot tub wonderful in a private yard with the gorgeous trees you expect. Communication excellent before & during our stay. Short & easy walk or bike ride to the beach. We were last on the island over 10 years ago. This was a truly wonderful stay & makes me want to come back again. Highly recommend this property & mgmt team (& we stay at VRBOs all over the place, including abroad!). If we return & need this much space, we would absolutely pick this home again. Thank you for everything!

Hilton Head Paradise

We have stayed in Hilton Head for vacation for the past four years. This year tops all! Fabulous! Linda and Jay were there for me from day one of making my reservation. The house was spotless, the kitchen had everything that you would need plus more, the pool was bigger than most, the walk to the beach was simple and close, there was plenty of space for my eight adults! I highly recommend! FABULOUS!!!!!

Linda and Jay were easy to work with and promptly responded to text messages. We had issues with mosquitoes day one and they came out within a few hours to spray! The pool is shaded for a good part of the day, so if you’re looking to sunbathe it has to be done mid day. Pool guy came to clean during our stay. We had everything we needed in the house. The beach is approximately 10-15 min walk especially if you’re hauling stuff down there. Next time I would prefer to be even closer or on the beach. But I will definitely stay at another one of their properties!
