Tidewater is one of Orange Beach's most popular rental complexes. Offering breath-taking views of the Gulf and Perdido Pass, beautiful white sand beach, and a top amenity package. The unit is decorated beautifully with all the comforts of home, including 50" Flat screen TV in living room & DVD/TV's in every room, wireless internet. Tidewater offers great location, within walking distance to numerous restaurants and activities.

Tidewater offers a beautiful outdoor pool, indoor pool, hot tub, sauna, fitness room, covered entrance and lobby, barbecue and picnic area and much more.

This 5th floor unit (#507) is furnished beautifully and owner maintains the unit immaculately. It does have bunkbeds built into the hallway for additional sleeping space, as well as a sleeper sofa in the livingroom (sleeps 6). Unit has been totally upgraded from the 'normal' units in the building including 37' & 27' (in bedroom) tv/dvd/stereo, granite counters, both wireless internet and through a modem and much more!

Great location! Easy check in and out. Condo was clean. Set up was ok, bedroom needs smaller furniture so doors work properly and a dark shade to block out the light outside on walkway. Also an extra trash bag would have been nice to have. No one wants to buy a box for just one

This was a great condo for me and my family (4 of us total- that eventually came down). It’s in a great location. It’s not one of the massive condo properties so that’s nice too. Owners were super to work with and we hope to return to this same place in the future.

"The best surprise is no surprise"

We've stayed at this property before and like the location and the size of the unit for a couple with modest needs. Tidewater is smaller than most of the big multistory units on the beach, around 13-14 floors if I recall. But nicely maintained and near the Perdido Pass area of Orange Beach. We didn't have any interaction with the Cranston's this trip, but they are good people who take care of their properties. And the weather was kind to us this trip, which isn't always a guarantee in March. Looking forward to coming back soon! (But the fish weren't biting, my surf casting attempts rolled snake eyes this year.)

Property was well maintained. It had all necessities inside and out. Parking was well managed and easy. Great view of the beach. Boardwalk was excellent. No splintery boards.

Smaller than expected.

Bedroom had huge king size bed in a room more sized for a full size bed. Very limited storage. Excellent, very helpful host.

Great condo directly on the beach.

Perfect spot directly on the beach. Walking distance to a clean beach area. The only problem was that we were not aware that toilet paper, paper towels, etc. were not included.

Family Vacation

We had a great trip to Orange Beach. The property was as listed. We did not have any trouble with the sliding doors, as some of the reviews stated. We did have an issue with the hot water, but it was fixed in a timely manner and then we had no issues. The owner was very easy to contact. Not about the unit itself, but the elevators were pretty slow for the condo. This may not be a normal issue, as there was a group of 120 teens staying in the condos at the time we were there. Again, not an issue with the actual unit, but the condo in general. If you have kids, a pirate ship sails by several times per day. It “shoots” it’s cannons around the time it is passing Tidewater. My kids were very excited every time this happened. Very pleased with our stay.

Grad trip

Overall we enjoyed our graduation trip at the beach, but we would not stay in this room again. The cleaning supervisor was there right when we checked in. She approved the whole room. But our shower curtain was covered in mold, which I am highly allergic to. I was sick all week. There was food left in the sink even though it was approved. we did not have a trash can and had to go buy one. And our door would not lock properly

Overall satisfied

We were not informed of what was stocked so we did not know we needed to bring garbage bags & toilet paper ect Bathroom was small with very little counter space & the bed in master was up against a wall which makes it difficult to get in & out. Having a kitchen & a washer & dryer was nice. It took a lot of time to figure out TV in living room need better directions. Patio door difficult to open. Great view & was very clean.

The perfect spot

First trip to Orange Beach. It is beautiful. Condos are nice, no troubles at all. A few tips. They have chairs to rent on the beach. 35 for two with umbrella. Soooooo worth it. This is a private beach so it is wet clean and peaceful. Big Mikes has the best rib eye I have eaten out in along time, Tacky Jacks and Docs were also great. Good service reasonably priced. All in all one of my fave beach trips.

I started coming to Gulf Shores back in the early 1980's as a high school student with my family. I later introduced my wife, Dawn, to the area and she fell in love with it as well. We have two beautiful daughters, Isabella and Gabrielle. Since that time we have owned a number of condominiums in the area over the years. We currently reside locally in Craft Farms Golf community.

We love the location of Tidewater. It is just west of Perdido Pass, directly on the beach. It is beautiful sitting on the balcony and watching the boats go in and out of the Pass. The complex is walking distance to several restaurants. The complex also offers great amenities which include indoor/outdoor pools, hot tub, sauna, fitness room and a lighted barbeque area. Come and enjoy the wide beach and surf.
