Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The house was beautiful, and we really enjoyed the pool and drinking coffee on the porch. Clean, nice staff, easy access, quiet. I hope we'll be back someday!

Great Girls Getaway
Rating Details: The property manager was very unhelpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Our property was amazing! This place is gorgeous. It is a great location and space for a girls' trip. The management company was VERY unhelpful and very unprofessional. I called two days before our check-in date requesting an early check-in and was told oh that should not be a problem because no one was renting the property before us and to call when we land in Savannah. We called the day of check-in and were told we could not get in until the property was clean, but that we could drop off our bags at the hotel on Tybee that they also manage. I called again around 3 to see if the property was available because we were about to be on the island and the lady rudely told me no and that I would receive an email at check-in time. I asked for some type of compensation since we had to pay to uber to a hotel and then get another kind of transportation to the property, costing us an additional $60. The lady was very rude. She said she couldn't couldn't do anything about it "because she was in Savannah, not Tybee Island.". Once it was 4:15 and I had not received any information about check-in I called AGAIN and asked them. I was sent a text with a link....that did not include an access code. Finally, at 4:30 (30 minutes after check-in) we were able to get into the property. So the first day of travel was very unpleasant due to the poor management.

A great historical house
This house has a lot of history and at the same time the bathrooms and kitchen has been updated. It has a wonderful balconies so there is room for everyone to either enjoy in quiet or visit with others.

Beautiful Property But...
Absolutely beautiful century home located just a short walk to the beach and surrounding community. The house itself is quite spacious with several sitting rooms and plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms. My family and I came down to Georgia to relax and enjoy the sun, so we spent much of our time at the beach, in the pool, and cooking in the kitchen. The kitchen worked well for having five adults cooking together. However, we ended up purchasing kitchen supplies because the house didn't have the things we needed or what was present was in bad shape. The pool and hot tub were great, and the cleaning crew came twice during our stay to upkeep the outside area. Unfortunately, my biggest complaint would be the lack of air conditioning and the advertisement for the game room. The temperature in the house never cooled down. We used the overhead fans and turned the air conditioner off several evenings in order to not freeze up the system. It was 82 degrees inside the house most evenings. When a message was sent to the rental company, they stated that they would send someone out if the temperature didn't fall below 80 degrees. I don't know about you, but while on vacation, I like to stay cool when I sleep. In fact, I have a century home myself, and the inside temperature is normally between 72-75 degrees comfortably. Needless to say, we were a bit disappointed in how the rental company handled this issue. The game room in the basement is definitely not a game room. I may have misinterpreted this area based on how the property was presented. There are a few games in the basement, but the basement is your typical century home basement. Overall, the location was perfect, and we had a good week. There are just a lot of little things that made the price of this property difficult to swallow.

Some good, some not so good
Some good: The inside of the house was clean. The kitchen appliances and the grill were nice. The pool was nice. The house is large and well decorated. The beach access is close. Some not so good: The outside of the house needed cleaning; dirt in the windows and porch areas. The jacuzzi at the pool was not turned on, so the water was chilled. There are NO WINDOW COVERINGS across the downstairs windows nor front glass door. So your business can be seen. I like privacy at night. There was an incident with the neighbor that was disturbing. I wanted to receive a response from the owner, but just the rental company responded. But that didn't resolve my issue. Overall, the house was nice. But I will not go back nor would I recommend this house.
