Fully Remodeled Cabin with Deck - 10 Minutes to DGO - AC

Our 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom 700 Sq. Ft. cabin sits on 3 acres and offers views of the Hermosa Cliffs as well as privacy and seclusion, yet is only 10 minutes (6 miles) from Historic Downtown Durango and 20 minutes (20 miles) north to Purgatory Ski Resort.

The cabin was completely renovated in 2023 and features new furnishings as well and includes all the amenities expected from a luxury vacation rental (washer/dryer, AC, high speed WIFI, BBQ grill, fully stocked kitchen etc. etc.). There are also on property hiking trails that connect to national forest trails (hike out the back door).

The cabin is less then a 5 minute drive to the newly renovated Durango Hot Springs, Dalton Ranch Golf Club as well PJs Market and a great liquor store. Additionally it’s located on Country Road 203 know as one of the best road cycling routes in Durango with fresh asphalt, quiet country atmosphere and rides that extend to great destinations.

The home is not pet friendly. Please do not bring your pets.

Note there are 2 other vacation rental homes on the property approximately 40 yards away - there are no shared spaces. See photos.

Easy check-in. The property manager was very quick to respond to an issue with the Wi-Fi and got it remedied very quickly. Great little patio area with seating.

Excellent location and close proximity to areas/events of interest and restaurants.Very clean. Very well-stocked with linens/bedding and supplies for W/D, dishwasher and cleaning during the stay.Nice spice rack, but surprisingly no salt was supplied.Both beds were comfortable.Towel bar in first bedroom was loose. Could use hooks in bathrooms to hang bath towels, robe, etc. Could use hooks for coats by front door. No closets to hang clothes.Ceiling had evidence of some water damage and couch cushion was wet upon arrival; not sure if they are related. Cushion dried and no active leaking.Fridge has some sort of problem with accumulation of water, which is odd since there is no automatic ice maker or water dispenser.Upon arrival, the heat wasn't working. Could have solved myself if batteries for thermostat on-site, but tech arrived promptly and resolved.Overall, good experince and would stay here again.

Great location and very cozy

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the cabin, particularly appreciating its serene setting and cozy atmosphere. The cabin was impeccably clean and well-stocked, which significantly enhanced our enjoyment. Everything was thoughtfully provided, making our stay not just comfortable but truly delightful.

Place was nice and what we expected! We would stay again if we were in Durango. The only note is they could spray for bugs outside to make it more usable.

Great location with easy access to downtown, hiking and Durango Hot Springs. Place was nice and quiet; we had a relaxing time.
