Spacious and decorated in a nautical theme, the interior of Blue Heron Perch boasts an open-concept layout and modern amenities. All of your culinary ventures can be practiced with ease amidst the full kitchen's stainless steel appliances and gleaming countertops. Relaxing nights in can be achieved in front of the living room's large Smart TV.

Wood-lined and sizable, the four bedrooms come adorned with soft linens, central air, and tasteful pieces of artwork. Rounding out the interior amenities, appreciate having access to a private washer/dryer and internet.

Outside, enjoy the sway of the trees and the ocean breeze from the balcony. Within 20 miles of your stay, board a thrilling ride with the Outer Banks Kayak Adventures, take a peaceful walk around Jockey's Ridge State Park, engage in some playful competition over Mutiny Bay Adventure Golf, and dine at the area's numerous restaurants.

No smoking is permitted anywhere on the premises.

Weekend Getaway

We took a spur of moment trip down to OBX, this house was perfect for our family for an off season visit. The houses was fully stocked with everything we needed. Very easy check in and out policy, and love the property provided sheets and towels. We took a very short drive over to the public beach access, around lots of restaurants and a great little coffee shop “Ashley’s”. Would stay here again in a heartbeat.

Blue Heron Experience

This house is located in a great area for taking walks next to a golf course. The deck was a nice place to go and catch some afternoon sun. The kitchen is well stocked and has ample cooking area. Overall, a nice play to stay.

Cute cottage, but ...

This cottage was in a very convenient location and overlooks a golf course. The road in is one way and the neighborhood is quiet although there is noise from the main road noticeable at night. However, it was disappointing that we did not have cornhole boards or a grill to use (both were advertised in the listing and were a consideration for us when booking), and the cleaning prior to our arrival was not great. There were a couple of other issues that were attended to by the Vacasa staff during our stay (most staff members were very courteous and helpful). It wasn't a horrible stay, but the listing needs to be updated with accurate information about the amenities, or the amenities need to be available for guest use.

If you’re looking for a low price place to lay your head.

Enjoyed our stay, great low price place to lay your head. Could have been a little cleaner. Would recommend for dog owners like us.

Comfortable and clean

Our family enjoyed our stay at this property. We really liked the cool shade and it's location off of the less-busy road along the golf course. It was really nice for morning and evening dog-walks and jogs. The rooms and bathrooms were clean and comfortable and the space had all that we needed. Thank you for a lovely stay.

Disgusting. Do NOT stay here.

Arrived Friday at 430 for a two night stay. Home was not clean. One bedroom had old linens on the bed. Bathrooms had old soap and trash. Pile of dirty towels in one bathroom. Floors disgusting. Had to vacuum and sweep on arrival. Toilets dirty. Showers dirty. Crumbs on counter. Microwave and stove dirty. Old trash, wifi password did not work. No starter of anything. Shower in one bathroom leaking from ceiling, shower head sprays water out onto floor. No washcloths or hand towels. Had to buy our own. Called number provided, said they would contact local team and call us back. They did not. The next day we found the local office and drove there and spoke to someone who said they had not heard from anyone but would take care of things which they did but by Saturday afternoon on a two night stay, does it really matter at that point? Also, there were roaches. Killed a few each day. Would literally have stayed in my car instead of this place but we are five people and obviously couldn’t do that. Furniture is old. TVs are old. Cannot warn you enough to stay away. Disgusting and disappointing.
