Fully restored after hurricane Helene, this property is only steps to the white sandy beach. This spacious, charming tropical vacation rental is made for you and your family with all of the amenities needed for a relaxing vacation. The floor plan has a large, comfortable living room that opens up to the dining room and kitchen. There are three bedrooms, two spacious bedrooms with king size beds and a queen bed in the third room.
Two bathrooms, one extra large with tub/shower and plenty of room, while the other is accessible from the master bedroom and has a single shower. This property is ideally located on the north end of Clearwater Beach (consistantly named top 10 beach in the US and worldwide). Just a one minute easy walk to the pristine gulf beach where you will enjoy warm tropical breezes, sugar sand beach and the worlds most famous sunsets! While you are ideally located in the quiet residential area of north beach, you are within walking distance of Pier 60, restaurants, marina and shopping. Private parking, outside porch, beach chairs, beach towels and a gas grill will make your stay a home away from home. Trolley service goes by the house every 30 minutes to all beach activities, shops and restaurants, as well as other local beaches. Air conditioning, cable, smart TV & wireless internet access provide comfort for your stay. The Clearwater family aquatic center is located just down the street where there is an olympic size pool with attached children's play area with slides, squirting water jets and waterfalls - plenty of room for sunbathing, large umbrellas for shade and family picnic areas. Ask us for free passes to the pool. Tennis and pickleball courts are located less than a mile from the property.

For larger groups, consider also renting the Sandpiper, and enjoy being together at one location. With both rentals you could accommodate 12 guests.

If there is damage to the rental property during your stay, you may be charged up to $1000.00. If the property is left in an undesirable condition, additional cleaning may be charged.

Nice Location by the Beach

We enjoyed our stay. The bathroom showers had some mold but the rest of the house was great. We enjoyed the beach. Just a short walk with plenty of shells.

Clearwater Beach House

We loved the house. It was cozy, clean and had everything we needed. The location was excellent! So close to the beach. The neighborhood was safe and quiet. Maryhelen was a wonderful host. She was very responsive and caring. We would definitely stay here again!

Beach getaway

Maryhelen's beach home is lovely! It's in a quiet neighborhood super close to the beach. We loved so many things about it. It was clean with beach towels, chairs, bikes and beach toys for those with families It's close to Pier 60 ( 1 mile ) and a lot of the action that Clearwater offers. I loved, however, heading back to our quiet space in a residential neighborhood. We are a family of 5 with furry friends and they loved the beach as well. They also loved the little fenced in area around the yard. It was so close that going back and forth from beach to house was not a big deal. Maryhelen was responsive and made the check in process easy. She was lovely as well. Would stay again.

Relaxing stay in great location

Great home away from home. Quiet area but close to everything. Comfortable and sunny home with both privacy and common areas for 3 friends on a getaway vacation. Away from the hubbub but we could walk or bike to see both sunrise on the bay and sunset on the beach. Lots of good restaurants nearby. Our host was very accommodating. Thanks for a great stay!

a perfect (but too brief) vacation

It was perfect - clean, comfortable and very close to the beach. The property manager was very accommodating to our requests (came a bit early and left a bit late...) and we are hoping for a return visit next year. quiet neighborhood but a nice walk to the vibrant downtown area.

Beach stay

My family and friend stayed here, 5 people. Great beach house & location. It was just a few houses from the beach, so close. Property management was very helpful and polite. We had plenty of room, and provided us with beach equipment + 2 bikes were available. Town is close by, but just far enough to be out of the crowd. We would definitely come back to this property.

Getaway to a great beach

This rental had a fabulous location a block away from the beach. We found sand dollars we saw dolphins jump in, it wasn’t overly crowded because we were further up the island. Mary Helen was a great host you needed anything she gave you contact numbers and was there for any questions or concerns. Would stay there again.

Family Getaway-Just Steps to the Beach

Nice property located just one block from the beach. Equipped with the essentials needed for a day at the beach, chairs, bikes, cooler, umbrellas, cart to carry everything there! Property is away from the busy part of town but close enough to walk there if you desire! Enjoyed coffee on the front porch and watching the storms roll in. Would've spent more time out there but we were down there in the record heatwave! Interior was spacious and bright. Owner was very responsive and accomodating. Laundry and parking a plus. My husband enjoyed the outdoor shower!

Great vacay home.

This property is amazing. The home has so much character. It was perfect for our vacation. Just a very short 2 min walk to a very open beach. Hardly any people on the beach. Found tons of sand dollars!! We will be back to this home again. Highly recommend.

Clearwater vaca

This comes from a longtime beach vacation rental homeowner myself. Pros - great location. Cute house, good layout. Friendly owner/property manager. Easy check-in. Cons - AC struggles to keep the house cool in summer heat. BBQ gas line outside was leaking gas, I notified the owner. Second king bedroom mattress had springs poking into us. Bathtub mat had mold on it. Shower water temp inconsistent, sometimes gets hot. Several outlets that plugs loosely fit, dangerous for young children. A good house, just needs attention to update comfort, safety and cleanliness.

Fantastic place in the best location

We had an amazing stay at the beachcomber. The location truly couldn’t be better - one block from the beach, close to downtown, a block away from the trolley that will take you to all the restaurants, etc. Maryhelen was so communicative and great and they had everything we needed for our family stay. Would definitely recommend and stay here again!

Wonderful charming house

MARYHELEN was a fantastic host. She had everything ready in her adorable house. It is a block from the beach so a very easy walk. All the chairs, umbrellas and cart were right there. The house is extremely clean with all the supplies and extras you need to make our vacation perfect. Beds were extremely comfortable as was the living room furniture. We will definitely be going back.

Wonderful place

Such a cute, comfortable beach house. Very clean, very accommodating. Pefectly close to the beach but in a quiet residential neighborhood. It was such a nice relaxing stay. Maryhelen was great, very sweet and always available to us when needed. If we decide to visit Clearwater again we will stay here.

Perfect location!

Perfect location

Perfect House

This house is just exactly as pictured! Super cute, clean and in a great location! Maryhelen is a great host that is quick to respond to any questions or concerns or issues. There are beach chairs, beach towels, a cooler, even a beach bag to make your beach day perfect. The Trolley literally goes right past the house and takes you to restaurants and shopping and pier 60. I wouldn’t hesitate a second to book this home again!

Excellent family vacation

Best stocked VRBO we have ever stayed in. So many things we usually have to bring were not necessary. We usually bring a nonstick pan, good knives & dishwashing soap, but the kitchen was very well equipped with dishes and cook items. Large fridge and freezer, crock pot, electric kettle, plastic ware for children are just some of the things you don't usually find. A high chair, booster seat, pack & play, child safety plugs for outlets made it easy to have a 2 yr old. Every bedroom had comfortable beds, fans and extra electrical cords. The bathrooms wer stocked with toilet paper, bath towels and beach towels. Every tv had a Roku. The beach items were so helpful! A wagon/cart, chairs, a cooler, more. The distance to the beach was less than the distance you usually walk from the parking lot to a public beach. It was not crowded at all at this particular place on the beach, even though it was spring break. All the beach traffic was further south of us. The owner was welcoming and available, although we never needed a thing. We will definitely stay here again. Felt like home away from home.

Loved the house and location

We really enjoyed our stay at the house in Clearwater. It’s a 2 minute walk to a beautiful beach and walking distance to all the action and restaurants down by the Pier and hotels. We liked being on the north end of the island where it’s more quiet with easy access to everything else. My husband and son used the community tennis courts and the weight room/exercise center. We took a couple of sunset cruises from the marina, and had delicious meals at every restaurant we went too. We had plenty of space at the house. The kitchen is pretty well equipped. It should be noted that the laundry room is a shared space with a unit just behind the house, but it was never a problem. Overall we loved it and look forward to going back. Maryhelen was wonderful to us. She gave us lots of information and then just let us enjoy the house. We highly recommend the Beachcomber!

I'm originally from Mt. Vernon, Indiana, but came to Clearwater 53 years ago to live in this beautiful tropical paradise. After graduating high school in Indiana I went in search of palm trees. I headed to Florida, with two places circled on the map, Clearwater and Palm Beach, simply because the names sounded so pretty. Came first to Clearwater and ended up staying and never made it to Palm Beach. Clearwater Beach was amazing then just as it is now! I married a local 5th generation Florida guy and our children are now proud to be 6th generation Floridians. Our family loves the beach and the water, and make it a part of our lives.

Our home is ideally located on north beach in the quiet residential neighborhood of Clearwater Beach. Close enough to walk or bike ride to the restaurants, shopping, bars, etc., yet in the quieter part of the beach where it feels like home. The beach access is a short distance away - a one minute easy walk by foot. You still are close to shopping, dining, charter fishing and a myriad of activities. The best of both worlds- come see for yourself!
