We had a wonderful time staying here. Out of all the vacation rentals we have stayed, the owners have put so much thought and preparation in to their guests’ stay. The location is not too far from Acadia or Bar Harbor. We will definitely come back again!

Excellent Maine vacation. Really enjoyed the house and location. Charming area with plenty of activities and beautiful scenery. My daughters and their families got the Maine experience they were hoping for. My grandkids got to see the Puffins on one of our excursions.

The property worked perfectly for our group of one older couple and a large family. The house is beautifully decorated, situated right on the lovely harbor. All of our needs were met and then some, including spices in the kitchen.Corea itself is a lovely peaceful little village. It was a great base for exploring the surrounding gorgeous landscape.

This was property was very beautiful and comfortable! The location in Corea Harbor was beautiful and scenic and much quieter than Bar Harbor. The host was helpful and made the property very homey with all of its amenities. This property was located close to the Schoodic Peninsula which is inside of Acadia National Park and this portion of the park is much quieter and easier to get around in than the main part of Acadia. I would recommend the Bartlett House to anyone coming to the area.

It is even more beautiful than we expected. Just a perfect place. We saw osprey, moose, gorgeous sunsets and sunrises.. did not want to leave!

The host was very attentive to our needs, the house was very clean and was well stocked with supplies, and the kitchen was amazing. We couldn't have asked for a better place to spend our family get together.

Amazing house and great location!! We enjoyed the huge property and were able to see lots of wildlife in the surrounding areas. House is a reasonable distance from Acadia, Bar Harbor, and walking distance from the Catch your Dinner lobster boat tours -- which was our favorite activity! 5 stars!

The only negative about my stay is the lack of air conditioning and it got very hot inside the house. Otherwise, very gracious host and large enough property to spread out. Very well stocked with dishes, pans, etc. there wasn’t anything we needed that was missing. It was a great place to stay for my family gathering. Walkable to a delicious lunch on the wharf.

Wonderful property that had everything we needed and was clean. Check-in and check out were easy and the host responed immediately. The location was perfect for a relaxing Maine vacation. Would definitely stay here again next time we come to the area.

The home is spacious allowing for privacy but also lots of room for family gatherings both inside and outside. The kitchen is fantastic for the customary lobster meals. All utensils are readily available and then some, lots of space for multiple cooks. The rooms are clean and spacious. We had some cold nights and the AGA oven in the kitchen kept us cozy warm. We had an amazing time with 4 families and 4 generations from great-grandparents to 5 month old baby boy. It is a quiet remote community- planning grocery shopping highly recommended due to distance to grocery store.

We had an incredible visit to Corea this past week to the Bartlett House. The house had everything you would ever need and is quite spacious! We loved our stay and would love to return!

Wonderful family vacation

What a lovely spot! Very charming inside and out. The house was very well equipped and the hosts were helpful.We had a great family vacation with room for everyone. The area is so beautiful.

We had a great stay at the Bartlett house and cottage. The home is cosy and well appointed with everything you need, and then some. The kitchen is spacious, very well equipped and has 2 sinks. The beds were comfortable and bathrooms spacious. Outside space was nice and quiet with a table and chairs and fire pit. We enjoyed sitting and watching the ospreys feed their chick. Highly recommend this property!

Magical Summer Stay

We can't say enough about our stay at Karen's house. The property is gorgeous and the location is true Maine Summer Perfection. Karen was so kind and communicative from booking all the way through our trip. The house has everything you need for a comfortable and easy stay. It's a wonderful gathering space for friends and family. We look forward to visiting again!

Acadia Bound!

Wonderful gem! We enjoyed a week stay visiting Acadia National Park and Bar Harbor (1 hour drive) and came home to the quaint and quiet of this home. Kitchen had everything you would need at a high quality level! Highly recommended!

Dreamy Maine Retreat

We had two families with small children, as well as a babysitter, staying at the Bartlett House. We had plenty of space in this cozy home, outfitted with everything we could need. The house was clean. The kitchen was lovely. The yard was perfect for epic games of Ghosts in the Graveyard. We were within walking distance of Lunch on the Wharf where we could choose our own lobsters. The Schoodic Peninsula has great hikes and beautiful views. It’s a bit of a drive to Bar Harbor and the main part of Acadia but very manageable. We loved our trip!

An Amazing Place for a Family Gathering

We had 11 family members aged 5 to 76 and everyone had a wonderful time. The house/cottage were perfect for us, both inside and out. The kitchen is very well equipped -- Our cooks and our cocktail maker were overjoyed. Outside we had beautiful views of the harbor and of the osprey nest. AND a bonus... blueberries were ripe and we could pick them for our cereal in the morning. Walks to the beach, BBQs, just hanging out in the bright sun room. We created a lot of good memories. Our 5 year old granddaughter asked when she can go back to that house.

For the last 20 or so years we have rented houses in downeast Maine-three couples who have been friends for far longer. This house was one of the most well thought out, with comfortable furnishings in good condition, beautiful harbor views, and a well equipped kitchen which is as big as it looks in the photos. It was very clean, and showed no signs of end of season tiredness. There are plenty of dishes, cutlery, and glassware, cooking and baking supplies.The bedrooms have comfortable mattresses with no sagging, enough room for your clothes and plenty of hangers in the closets. The laundry room on the second floor has a large capacity washer and dryer. It is located between the master bedroom and the twin bedroom, with doors to each. so there is an option for the twin bedroom to share the master bath, or to share a smaller hall bathroom with the small queen bedroom. A library with an eclectic collection of both recent and older books is incorporated into the twin bedroom. A smaller collection of books, numerous igsaw puzzles, and games are on shelves on the first floor. TV reception is good. Internet is very spotty on the second floor, but good in the living/sunroom where the sofas, desk, and TV are. My husband was able to participate in Zoom meetings for work.Corea has two very good casual lunch places on the water, a gallery/gift store, gorgeous views, a few trails, and an excellent lobster boat tour, but that's it. This mini estate was a beautiful place to get away.

Perfect location for a multi-generational get-together (11 of us, aged 20-90). This was the most well-equipped house we've ever stayed in - it had everything we needed and more. And all was helpfully well-labelled. The house had several common spaces to choose from so that we could spread out when required. Bedrooms were well-proportioned, The guesthouse was perfect for our elderly parents. With the large screen tv room, the World Cup fans could watch and cheer without disturbing the card-playing group in the dining area. We all walked at various times around the area and discovered a number of options for a quick dip within walking distance. Bell Buoy (Rich & Melinda) was our favourite lunch spot, as well as an excellent purveyor of lobster dinners to take away. Jaunts to Acadia National Park, Stonington and local restaurants could be reached easily by car. However, we treasured the peaceful setting and opportunity to spend quality time together. Hosts were responsive and offered some great recommendations. It was a truly memorable family holiday. Tip: We stopped at the new Aldi in Portland on our way to Corea to stock up for the week.
