Great location and cozy.

We chose this property because of its proximity to the beach access. Check-in was easy, and everything was as described. We plan on going back next year and hope that this property is available to rent again.

We loved, loved the little cottage...size & location was fine but no counter space in bathroom & really terrible mattress with sub par linens made our trip uncomfortable & unpleasant. These are super easy fixes!! Also no coffee mugs! A good nights sleep & a nice mug of coffee to start the day are two small things that matter!!

Below Average - Needs Inexpensive but Important Updates

We were really excited to stay at Dry Dock and while we had a nice time at the beach, the rental could use some important updates. The mattress in the bedroom was hard as a rock, and we were sore each morning. The sheets and blanket were thin and scratchy. Two outlets we used sparked multiple times. And there isn't a window covering over the bathroom window! Houses are directly behind the house and can see straight into the bathroom. A small investment into some upgrades would make a huge difference. I didn't see the review left just before our stay, until we were there, but they had similar complaints.

Very cute property that has a lot of potential and in a great location. We are vacation rental owners and there are a lot of areas that could be improved to make guests more comfortable. We had seen a review over a year ago about no curtain in the bathroom and assumed that would have been fixed, but it wasn’t. I had to hang a trash bag over the window for privacy. The bbq grill was a rust pit, lucky we didn’t need to use it. Shower door needs adjusted or replaced. Very good water pressure and an outdoor wash station was great for beach days. Beach entrance 11B you have to walk through lake water to get to the beach, so be sure and walk to the west to go to the beach at the other beach access point. Instructions on which entrance to use would be helpful as well. The unit has a very musty smell as you enter as well. Lounge chairs on the deck would have been nice as well. There is a newer picnic table. The lower deck had no chairs at all and was basically useless space for the guest to use. Laundry room is down below the unit in a separate room, very musty/mold smell as well. Pillows could be improved. AC unit worked very well. The unit worked well for what we needed it for, but it could be a very nice place with a little TLC.

Can’t beat the location! Sweet little place! No extra though( bikes, beach chairs,etc.), so be prepared.
