I loved that is was a very short walk to the beach. The units were spacious and the property owner/management communicated the entire way. You will be close to the pier and the beach shops.

Great place, great location! Would stay again. Wish they gave more toilet paper, paper towels, and garage bags but we rent so often we bring our own now. We stayed with kids and adults and loved that we could walk everywhere. The free 250 rental equipment was a really nice add on! I believe there is one more room than noted in the upper level so that was a bonus too

Great location - near Bert’s, Chico Feo and 4 min walk to beach. Fit family of 10 easily. Good appliances. Great dining room table - fit us all. Host responded quickly to all questions. Had a bit of a snag getting in to house. Combos didn’t work at first. House siding was dirty. Difficult because of nearby trees but it is so early in the season. Needs to be pressure washed. Cleaning solution was super strong upon entering. Dissipated after a couple of days. But inside was very clean. Being able to get games, boogie boards and bike from Vac K was so convenient and nice. All in all, a great vacay. Thank you.

Great spot

Location was awesome. Walk to just about anything. Had the senior group members on bottom floor so they enjoyed not having to use steps. Plenty of space and porches. I thought it was fine, my wife said I had to put four stars on cleanliness because it wasn’t to her standard but whatever. She enjoyed the stay.

Awesome weekend with the boys

Property is amazing and so is the location. My group was a bachelor party for the weekend and the house made everything very easy and enjoyable. We never drove the entire time we were there since the location made it easy for us to have a beach day, shop at Bert’s, or have dinner/drinks nearby. We spent one day just watching football and because we had multiple TVs we were able to watch multiple games. Very happy with our stay

Active shooter

there was an active shooter on the pier the last night that we were there. I would not recommend this area to families looking for a vacation spot as it is more of a younger area for people that are looking for a party.

Thank you for your feedback. We're sorry to hear that your experience on Folly Beach wasn't what you expected for a family vacation. We want to clarify an important point regarding your final night: there was never an active shooter on the pier or anywhere on Folly Beach. What occurred was an isolated and extremely rare incident that happened after the public pier had closed for the night; when a crowd gathered and an individual was arrested by police for carrying a weapon. Folly Beach remains a safe and family-friendly area, and local authorities quickly managed the situation without any shots being fired. We understand that different visitors have different expectations for their vacation, and while Folly Beach certainly offers a lively atmosphere, it's also enjoyed by many families for its beaches, local shops, and restaurants. We hope this clarification helps, and we appreciate you sharing your perspective. Thank you for staying with us!

Unusual rainfall

Due to tremendous rainfall which friends they have not seen in the 10 years they’ve lived there, we had to relocate to another property which was very nice and Carolina one could not have been nicer
