Come into our home, relax, and enjoy all the amenities of a true home, including a large front porch, hardwood floors, granite countertops, and a fully-stocked kitchen including 2 full-size fridges. Everything you need is right here. With just 200 steps from the beach, 100 feet from legendary Bert's 24-hour grocery/convenience store, and only one block from the hub of all the island’s restaurants and shopping, having a perfect vacation at Folly Beach is as easy as '1-2-3”. When you arrive at 123 East Ashley Ave, you can leave your car parked (up to 6 spaces) and enjoy a true beach getaway. We are also a short 2-minute walk to Folly Beach Fishing Pier, and if boating is your thing, the Public Boat Landing is only 1/2 mile away. Escape to “123” and make your vacation dreams come true. (Pack N Play is provided for our little guests :)

Getaway

We (10 of us) came for my nephew's birthday to take him to Patriot's Point. This spot was fantastic. It was so roomy and had everything we could possibly need. The beds are so comfortable. The beach and stores are so close. I was impressed by the laundry room where they had everything labeled. The rules were so easy to follow and had nothing crazy like other places we have stayed. The big front porch was so nice and i personally loved the back porch where I found a little spot I could see the waves. Thanks so much!

Perfect Place

This is our second stay at this location. It has plenty of space and is very comfortable. The location is awesome as you are a stones throw from the market, a block from the ocean, and a block from the main strip. The host went above and beyond to make our stay great. I will be back again next year!! Thanks!!

Wonderfu Family Reunion

Thank you for a wonderful experience. The home was very cozy, clean, well supplied, and especially - comfortable. My family gave high marks for the "homey feel" & the nearness of the "downtown", the beach, and "Bert's" general store was great. All the comforts of home! I hope to use this again in the future. Very nice!!!

Repeat Stay

We stayed here last year and enjoyed it so much we booked this year and will likely book next year. Great location, comfy beds and pillows, well stocked kitchen, really has it all.

Excellent location on Folly

The best part about our stay was the location. It is one block to the beach and a short walk to center street. Home is older and thus not updated like others, but it worked for our family. The front porch is a great gathering space. Beds were comfortable. Biggest issue was the one bathroom that has washer & dryer inside of it making it difficult to access the bathroom. All in all a great place to stay if you want to be close to everything. Owners were very quick to respond:)

Fun week in Folly Beach

Really enjoyed the house and location: next to both the beach and the pier/downtown. House had everything one could imagine, especially loved the outdoor shower and the front deck for reading and people watching

Perfect location!

Our family of 9 stayed here for the 4th of July week and it was prime location. Ease of access to beach and shops by day; perfect for walking to get a quick coffee, snack, bubble tea, açaí bowl, ice cream, etc. Dinner just walking distance away. Fireworks right behind us. Live music across the street nightly that we could listen to from our porch. Comfortable amenities inside. Awesome!!!

Everything we could have asked for

The property was clean and presented accurately. The owner was extremely responsive. Our family enjoyed the proximity to the beach, and the adults really enjoyed the proximity to the bars and restaurants. We would definitely rent again.

3rd annual girls trip.

The house was perfect location. Walk to the beach. Walk to restaurants. Walk to shops. The bedroom layouts were perfect 4 days and we only had to get in the car to go to Charleston. Would stay here again and would recommend to others

Perfect!!

The property location was perfect with easy, walkable access to shops, restaurants, and, the beach. We enjoyed sitting on the large front porch and listening to the patio music across the street, which ended at a reasonable hour. The house was plenty big enough for 6 people, and we would have been comfortable with more. The kitchen was well stocked with dishes and appliances. Sheryl was extremely attentive and quickly responded to a problem. We would definitely stay there again!

Perfect Location

It's all about location! And LOVE the front porch. Comfortable beds! All you need in the kitchen. Less than 5 minute walk to the beach from the back door, and in the middle of Folly action out the front door!

Wedding!

We got married in Folly Beach on April 6, 2024 with our close family and friends with us. This house and location was absolutely perfect for our family to stay at and prepare for our amazing day. The owners were attentive and available at all times and the house was fully stocked, very clean and wonderfully comfortable! We would stay here again in a heartbeat. If I could give it 10 stars I would!

Large Group Review

The house is in an outstanding location for those who are looking to easily walk to both the beach as well as the downtown area. Additionally, the hosts are very easy to reach and are transparent about what the house has to offer, as well as how they expect the house to be treated. We found everything to be in overall good condition and had no issues with the house whatsoever. We had the house fully packed with 14 guests, and while the house fit all of us comfortably, I wouldn’t necessarily recommend that this many guests stay here. Overall, we felt like a group of our size wasn’t welcome in the neighborhood, regardless of our efforts to follow the city’s noise policies and despite the fact that we were gone most of the day while we volunteered at organizations across the Charleston area. That being said, the hosts were EXCEPTIONALLY patient with us and we do not blame them at all for how their neighbors treated us, which is why we didn’t let it impact our overall 5 star review.

Great location and lots of space

We had a girls weekend and Sheryl was very responsive the entire time we needed anything. The property was in such a great location so we didn’t have to drive anywhere!!! Would stay here again!

Great location!

Communication from host was excellent! Location can be beat in the in or offseason with abundance of restaurants nearby and the convenience store across the street is open 24/7. Very clean and great parking availability! Would stay again!

Christmas at the beach

The house has a very welcoming front porch. It is loaded with comfy chairs just inviting "porch setting". The house was just as inviting and pleasing. It was clean, tidy and decorated nicely. The kitchen was awesome providing all the needed pot/pans, tableware and small appliance. Sheryl was a joy to work with. She was very prompt to answer any questions I had and even gave us a great referral for fresh seafood. Thank you Sheryl for helping our family have a wonderful Christmas

After many family vacations to the SC and NC beaches, our family (6 of us) pooled our monies and purchased this sweet beach cottage on Folly Beach. We worked hard to turn this rental into our "Easy as 123" getaway; which means that once we arrive, we have everything we need! We live in Columbia but manage our rental remotely so that we can offer our guests personalized service.

123 East Ashley is a wonderful location in that once you park you won't have to drive again. Local 24-hour grocery/convenience store (Bert's) is right across the street. Beach access is 200 steps away and local shopping, bars, and restaurants are only 1 block down the street.

Our home offers an open floor plan that makes your stay very comfortable with your friends and family. The entire home features hardwood floors and large eating areas for the entire group to sit down and eat at the same time. Updated with granite, fixtures, and more. The best part is the large front porch where you can enjoy people-watching and even hear the sounds of live music on the weekends.
