Cute cottage! Great location in Grafton- near several pubs and restaurants. Nice and clean and hot tub was so nice! Hosts were easy to reach and made check in and check out process painless. Would stay here again!

"Private deck" is not private.

The "Private deck" faces the main thoroughfare in Grafton and is in clear view of a massive tourist parking lot. The "Hot Tub" is a dangerous inflatable kiddie pool that malfunctions constantly and nearly electrocuted me. The listing doesn't mention this, but this property is clearly a marketing tool for their weed business and every surface is covered in weed propaganda. They're selling CBD/THC products within the unit which I'm honestly not sure is technically legal in such an unregulated manner even in Illinois. They should probably at least be very clear about restricting occupancy to 21+ w/NO children who might find and eat their weed gummies thinking it's candy.

Private Hot tub is private Justin thank you for your feedback and list of concerns, we strive for 5 star reviews and it helps us with future bookings. First off, the hot tub is indeed private (not secluded) meaning its private to you and your guest, not the public or any other guest of Spring Hollow Hideaway. Our "inflatable kiddie pool" is actually a really nice inflatable Saluspa hot tub that all our guest have praised and enjoyed. Sorry it did not live up to your standards but had you actually taken the time to look at the listing photos prior to booking you would have clearly seen a picture of the hot tub and know what type it was. Unfortunately it was having issues the night of your stay which is why we refunded half your money with no questions asked and offered you a free night stay for another time which you declined. However, you will be happy to know that we actually just ordered a brand new Aspen Spa thats being delivered and installed in a few weeks, unfortunately I don't think your going to get to use it:( Also the listing does clearly say that we are a 420 friendly rental. This is one of our guest favorite amenities and just so your aware we are licensed cannabis growers through the state of IL and have been since 2019. The pictures and propaganda you speak of is actual real pics of our 4th generation family farm and plants that we are very passionate and proud of. All of our products are organic hemp derived and third party tested by an accredited lab with C.O.As. The White Lotus is clearly a unique rental, we vet every guest and don't allow children since its indeed a 420 friendly stay for two as stated in the listing.

The listing photos are older and don’t do justice to the actual room. The updates they’ve made are beautiful and not only meet practical needs, but also create a calm, serene atmosphere. The bed was honestly the most comfortable one I’ve ever slept on!Outside, the full-size gas grill and grilling utensils were a great feature that we fully took advantage of during our stay. Because of the heat, we didn’t get a chance to use the hot tub. Communication with our host, Jacqi, was prompt, friendly, and pleasant. She answered all of our questions and addressed any concerns we had. Overall, this was a fabulous experience and exactly what we needed — the perfect getaway for my husband and me. Thank you so much!!!!
