This cabin is located on the edge of town in Grafton, Illinois. Grafton is the perfect place for family or a couple’s getaway weekend! Being on the edge of town provides privacy from the commotion of main street but is also less than a mile to most attractions in town. It features 2 bedrooms and 1 bathroom. Enjoy hanging out or cooking on the spacious deck and having your own yard. There is plenty of room for trailer parking if you are bringing a boat. Also, there is a fire ring in the back yard that you are more than welcome to use. I try to keep fire wood there but it sometimes gets used up before I can restock it. This property is new to the market but I have had other properties in Grafton for a few years now. Feel free to look at their reviews or if they would fit your needs better. Grafton, Illinois is a small river town and is fast becoming the desired location for weekend getaways with many establishments throughout the town. Unique shops, wineries, bars, and restaurants where you will be able to enjoy live music are just a few of the many choices you have to choose from in Grafton. For those who desire a little adventure, Grafton is host to the Aeries Zip Line and the new Aeries SkyTour Gondola. Raging Rivers Waterpark is just one mile south of Grafton on the Great River Road. Pere Marquette State Park is another option for those looking for an adventure with many hiking trails and a horseback riding facility. The Sam Vadalabene Great River Road Bike Trail is a paved 20 mile trail from Grafton to Alton. If you are a boater, bring your boat and launch it at the free town boat ramp. You can take a ferry ride from Grafton to St. Charles, MO or to Calhoun County, IL. Fall is a popular time in Grafton where guests take in the beautiful fall colors while enjoying a glass of wine at one of the many wineries or from the private balcony. During the winter months, you may enjoy watching the Eagles from the balcony or visit the Loading Dock ice skating rink. There are many things to do in this small river town. The cabin worked great for our stay in Grafton. It was right off main street and close to everything. The cabin was clean and comfortable too.

We had a great short stay at the cabin, it was perfect for a quick getaway and had everything you would need. Location was great, just a quick 3-5 minute drive to the main strip in Grafton, definitely a doable walk if you wanted as well. We would stay here again!

This is my first review that isn’t mostly positive. It’s honestly hard to write, but it was my family’s experience. We arrived at the house to bad odor and warm, muggy temp. Upon unpacking the frozen food we brought, we found the refrigerator was not working at all and was the cause of the smell. After notifying the property manager, a mid size cooler with ice was brought. This did not keep our frozen items at a low enough temp and they melted/spoiled. When filling the coffee pot, I found it was full of grounds. I worked at cleaning it for 10 minutes….though much of the brown sludge from grounds being left in the back were unable to be cleaned out. When our water park plans the next day got rained out (side not to book within 60 days if you want a chance at your money back), we decided to leave. We notified the property manager and did not even mention any refund as it was our choice. However, when I realized a charger had been left (a MacBook charger), I asked if it could be located and was told they would be there by the end of the week to look. Over a week goes by and I reach out again. Yes, it had been found. Ok…would you be willing to send it back? I’m assuming a hospitable person would USPS it back for under 10 as we had trouble at the rental. Nope. Asked for my VENMO so they could charge me. Not even worth it. I bought a new one and a 33ft travel trailer so I don’t experience this again.

Great, quiet location. Several deer passed through the backyard morning and evening. The porch area was very nice. The house was clean. Had a small issue with the refrigerator not working properly and Jeff was very quick to respond. Would highly recommend!

Very neat & clean. Nice location and great porch, to bad it was so . Didnt really have any instructions on TV, was trying to beat the afternoon heat by watching a movie. Overall a great little cabin. Would go back.

Peaceful retreat

Really enjoyed our stay. Had everything we needed. Cabin was clean and the area was perfect. Enjoyed a nice run on the trail near by. We also loved sitting on the deck and watching the doe and her baby in morning.We will definitely stay again!

Decent Stay

Overall the stay was fine, but would be more suitable for groups without small children. The stairs to the basement and stairs from living room to kitchen were challenging with a small child. The bathroom and floors could have been cleaner as well, but overall was fine stay.

Nice Clean House

The house is how it looks, very clean and although small it is perfect for a group 4. The covered deck is great and we needed it as it rained both days we were there. However we were able to play cards. You could easily walk to Drifters restaurant/bar from there and the another half mile you are in the middle of Grafton.

We loved our stay here! The house was clean and furnished nicely and has a great deck. The wi-fi worked very good and they had a nice smart TV, so we were able to watch our shows. While it is pretty close to the road, it is strangely really feels to itself. There are two restaurants incredibly close to the cabin, but pretty much most of the restaurants are with about 30-45 walk, we ate at four of them and all were good. About a ten minute drive is the Treehouse Wildlife Center, I would really recommend checking out.

Clean, quiet, comfortable

The Confluence Cabin had a masculine atmosphere with paintings of hunting, dogs andPlaques praising the lure and romance of fishing and hunting. Liquor bottles decorated the shelf above the micro wave and neon beer sign above that. A nice big porch wraps around two sides of the porch, equipped with a big barbeque grill and a picnic table. I can envision a bunch of men, smoking, drinking beer, and eating the fish they had caught that day, having a nice party enjoy each other's company. But we were 2 older ladies that enjoyed having the privacy of our own bedrooms and a nice modern kitchen equipped with all the pots and pans and utensils we needed. Plus there was a fair amount of food items that previous renters had left behind for the next person to enjoy. Overall, it was quite delightful.

Weekend Getaway

This was a lovely little cottage. The location was perfect, close to everything. Our favorite spot at the house was the porch. We loved sitting outside in the morning having coffee and watching the wildlife. Communication and check in was easy. This was an excellent simple getaway! The only thing missing was an extra blanket and extra pillows, but I could have easily brought my own.

Quick business trip

Great location to all Grafton businesses

Loved the location, a sign by drive that said “confluence cabin “ would be beneficial to locating the home. Interior and surrounding deck was as pictured. My suggestions would be add a table lamp in the LR and BR’s. We were very afraid to use the so called fire pit as it was was fairly close to the wood deck. It was overloaded with limbs and lawn / tree leaves, debris and we didn’t want to spend time cleaning it out in order to use it safely which was a bit disappointing since we brought wood and items necessary to use it. Only complaint from one of the gals was that there was no back up toilet paper for the price paid, one roll is all that was there. The door is very tricky to close and lock, assume it was due to the moisture with the rain but instructions would help others who aren’t knowledgeable with keypad locks As well as instructions on how to operate the tv with two remotes since every tv / cable / remote set up is so very different.Enjoyed our stay very much in spite of my suggestions.
