Irie House (Irie means 'the state of well being' in Jamaican) is ideally situated on upper 4 O'clock Road just across from 4 O'clock Run (4 O'clock meaning the time the tows close...better begin skiing down!). Ideally situated for easy access to both winter and summer mountain sports: ski-in/out, mountain biking, hiking, the house is only a short walk to town. Leave the car in the driveway and walk to the Snowflake lift. Remember to keep a lookout for our favorite locals - moose and a sweet fox might stop by when you least expect it.

Irie House is a 4200 square feet, comfortable and well equipped 5 bedroom home which can sleep 10 in two living areas. After entering the spacious gathering room, guests usually walk straight out to the huge deck for a panoramic view of the town and Baldy Mountain. Then they find the kitchen/dining area and the master bedroom both facing out on the deck. The second spacious living area downstairs with kitchen, bath, 2 bedrooms, fireplace, TV and a pool table is perfect for the kids while the parents are upstairs relaxing. Off the second floor balcony are two more bedrooms and a loft, plus a place to work for those who can't get away (the house has high speed WiFi).

The kitchen is exceptionally equipped and has everything you need to cook up a great meal or use the gas grill if you prefer. Extra towels for the hot tub, shampoo/conditioner, games, cards and poker chips, books, and cozy throw blankets. There is space for two cars in the driveway and two additional vehicles on the street in posted spaces. Guests appreciate that the full-sized washer and dryers(2) means they can pack less.

The view is the real attraction. Enjoy your morning coffee from your mountain perch and watch the town come to life as the sun rises. After those long, 'hard' days of skiing, biking, hiking, and shopping, one can come home to a place like home. As the sun sets the magic happens. On clear nights with the Milky Way overhead and the town lights blinking below, enjoy “the best view in Breck” from the new Bullfrog Spa on the deck. It’s truly enchanting in the snow.
