Welcome to Rock Harbor Cottages. "The Boathouse" is an amazing waterfront cottage. The view is second only to the over sized 3+ person jacuzzi tub. Nothing better than waking up and opening your eyes to the amazing view and hearing the water. Close to dining, shopping, beaches, Island ferries, Lakeside, Cedar Point, fishing, and Lake Erie. Perfect couples getaway or to fish Lake Erie. Bring your boat or kayak; boat ramp, dock, and fish cleaning house on property. Private unit. Full kitchen.

The Boathouse at Rock Harbor Cottages

Very relaxing stay at the Boathouse at Rock Harbor Cottages. The owner Brad was very friendly. We spent the majority of our stay there outside enjoying the views. Would definitely recommend this property.

Perfect, romantic fall getaway

From oversized tub to gorgeous views and scenery, it was a perfect getaway for my husband and me. The weather was also perfect, which helped! The place is small, but very well organized, and very comfortable, and literally three steps from the water, we brought our kayak and enjoyed the personal dock. Owners were very responsive, responsive to our communications.

Must stay

It is small but so peaceful and right on the water. The inside is perfect. Beautiful sunsets! The tub is to die for. Bobbers restaurant is within walking distance, very friendly, not pricy, and excellent food. Fresh Walleye and Perch!

AMAZING destination

My husband and I had an amazing stay at this little cabin, it was the perfect size for us! It was right on the water, the view was fabulous! Just sitting outside watching the boats and people on jet skis was so relaxing. So close to the ferry for Kelly's Island and lots of great restaurants and ice cream places too! HIGHLY recommended!

Peaceful and relaxing

Tiny, but everything you need. Well designed every inch of space. So relaxing to wake up looking out over the waves lapping beneath you. Owner was great and very helpful.

Relaxing day trip

We absolutely loved this house. We have already discussed returning for a longer stay. We only spend one night, but we fell in love. It was so relaxing to sit inside and watch out the sliding glass door at the water and the boats going by. We had some family stop over and enjoyed sitting out at the table. The queen size bed on the first floor was very comfortable. We only popped up to look at the loft, but it looked like a cozy place to sleep. The bathroom was huge and there was tons of places to store our belongings. Will definitely go back.

Nice location and very nice place!!!

Very creative idea I could not stop looking at everything how it was done good job guys🙂 awesome location!!! Loved the fire table we only stayed 1 night and it rained the whole time and still loved it!!! Only thing it was missing was a fireplace on the wall would be perfect but without it is still very nice and clean!!! We will be coming back again. Thank you guys again!!!

Great Getaway

Fantastic little boat house. Had an excellent stay and actually appreciate the requirement to bring your own linens. Place was clean, neat, easy access and climate control worked even in cold weather; we stayed warm! Wifi is a must for working couples and had no issues with access or the internet TV. Would definitely stay again and already looking at summer '22 bookings. Thanks for a great weekend!

Fishing and Relaxing Fun

We had a wonderful time in the beautiful little boat house! It is beautifully done, the view is lovely, the jetted tub feels great at the end of the day, as does the comfy bed. Our dogs and we enjoyed hanging out on the dock fishing and eating and drinking. Sunny even took a swim. One day we went out fishing on Brad's boat. Although the fish were not super cooperative, we caught enough for dinner. Brad is a great captain and we had a wonderful time with him. He even cleaned the fish for us and the Crow's Nest restaurant cooked them. They were delicious. We will be back next year!!! Fran and Andy

This rental is even more amazing than the pictures. The location is fabulous and you are right on the water. This was a perfect getaway. The boathouse is super clean and comfortable. I highly recommend and we will be back.

Adorable place with an amazing view!

We stayed here for one night, because that’s all that was available during the time we had. I completely understand why I was booked up! Very clean and updated. The owners kept in great contact and were so friendly! I highly recommend staying here!

perfect quiet get away!

Great View and a nice job on this total remodel of an historic boat house. You can't get any closer to the water or the romantic and soothing sounds of the lake! This cute little home is the cure for what ails you, well equipped and stocked with the essentials but also with a HUGE jetted tub to soak away those troubles!

Great place with a beautiful view!

We loved our stay! The place is clean, well laid out and has a view that's hard to beat! The owners of the property checked in with us to make sure everything was alright and that we were happy. There places to go and eat, walk along the shoreline. The best part,, sitting out back watching the sun set and the sun rise!! We will be returning! Definitely 5 STARS!
