Welcome to Modern Montmartre! This stylish apartment is a comfortable place to call home for families, couples and friends. In the heart of Montmartre, right off rue des Abbesses, guests will have a chance to explore the village-like atmosphere and enjoy the cafe life on all the nearby Parisian streets. Bistros, boulangeries and boutiques are at your doorstep! And if you like to cook, you'll be in heaven walking down the market street rue Lepic, which is just across the street and has fresh cheese, fish, meat, vegetables, fruit, chocolate, pastries and of course, baguettes!

LIVING AREA: The spacious living area has 2 windows and is very bright and comfortable. The dining table offers seating for 4, and the couch is a very high-quality sofabed designed for daily use and suitable for up to 2 adults to sleep on. The apartment is equipped with WiFi, television with some English news channels, and a telephone will free international calls to landlines in the US, Canada, Australia, Western Europe, Israel and many other countries. (Calls to US & Canadian cell phones are also free!)

MASTER BEDROOM: A queen bed (160 cm x 200 cm) welcomes guests in their comfortable and quiet bedroom. The bedroom had one window facing an interior courtyard, so no street noise to bother you. The bedroom has a guest closet area and also a desk area - perfect for catching up on emails and social media while using the apartment WiFi!

CHILDREN: Children are welcome! The sofa bed provides a sleeping area for up to two children, and we can also provide a portable travel crib upon request in advance.

KITCHEN: The kitchen is fully-equipped, with an electric stove top, a microwave, an oven, a refrigerator with small freezer compartment, a clothes washer, a coffee maker and an electric tea kettle. The apartment is stocked with basic cooking supplies so you can enjoy the wonderful fresh food shopping on rue Lepic!!

BATHROOM: The apartment features 1 full bathroom with a toilet, sink/vanity area and a shower stall. Soap and shampoo are provided, as well as a hair dryer.

My husband and I spent three nights in this wonderful apartment in the heart of Montmartre! It was just as pictured and we were very pleased with the space and truly loved its location, so close to nearby sites and fabulous cafes! Communication with the property manager was excellent and I would like to personally thank Georgina for her excellent instructions with the appliances as well as providing a list of marvelous dining recommendations! Thank you also for allowing us to remain in the apartment a little longer due to the timing of checking into our next apartment!

The host and greeter were very friendly and extremely helpful with information starting with the best way/quickest way to get the property. The host provided a binder that was very inclusive of shops and dining around the area, flea markets, places to see, where the busses and metro were, and a number for taxi service in English. It was so easy to get around with so much within walking distance directly or especially by metro. The apartment was a very nice size even for 4 adults and we enjoyed staying in out of the rain on a few days of our trip. Can't think of anything we didn't like about the property.

Great locatoin 10+

From booking to departure, everything was absolutely wonderful. This place truly deserves every 10/10 review it gets. The apartment, just as shown in the photos, is nestled in a charming old Paris neighborhood with plenty of local shops, cafes, and a Metro station just a few minutes away. The one-bedroom unit is exceptionally clean, quiet, and spacious, offering all the necessary amenities. Communication with the property manager was excellent, with prompt and helpful responses to all our questions. Highly recommended—we’re already planning to return next year!

Five days in Fall 2024

Had a great time. The place was perfect for our family of four. Our kids were happy on the sofabed. The place is nice and quiet and in a fabulous location.

Great Location

Excellent location, a few hundred metres from Abbesses and Blanche metro stations. Lots of restaurants, boulangeries, wine stores, grocery stores etc right around the corner. Good size apartment. Plenty of plates, cooking accessories etc. which was nice. The apartment was completely silent at night which was amazing!! Please note the apartment is on the third floor without an elevator…this will not work for anyone with difficulty climbing stairs. Just fine if you are reasonably fit. A really great find!

Perfect location in Monmartre!

The three of us loved our stay here. The apartment is clean and updated and had everything we needed. Great location in Montmartre close to all the shops, restaurants, metro and buses. Would definitely stay here again!

Great Location

What a great place to stay! The apartment size was perfect and it was nice to be able to unwind at night after long days in the city. The neighborhood is amazing and it was so nice to have so many options as soon as you step outside, including 2 metro stops just 3 minutes away. And even with all the activity in the area, it was so quiet in the apartment. Can’t wait to come back!!

Delightful return to the 18eme

This apartment is ideally located in the 18eme, near both the Abbesses and Pigalle Metro stations. Cafés and boutiques, shops for all manner of foods, a postoffice, ATMs, and an excellent poissonerie are within steps. Ida and Paula, who manage the apartment, took excellent care of us (arrival/flight mishap; fallen curtain rod; lovely welcoming information). A couple of comfort suggestions (very minor ones): reading lamps in the bedroom would be great to have for nighttime readers; the shower caddy system does not hold things effectively--causes bumps into the handle when picking things up--very hot water will correct you asap!). Otherwise, the apartment is great: excellent kitchen stock of plates, pans, dishes; great blankets and towels (no face cloths for folks that use them--I always pack a couple). A very quiet building and area, even with all of the nighttime bustle on the doorstep. Milles mercis, Ida & Paula!!

Great location and quiet

We had a lovely stay. As stated in previous reviews, be sure you are able to walk up and down the spiral staircase to the apartment. We went in August and the fans with the windows open were sufficient to keep the apartment cool through the evening. The place was clean and comfortable. The toilet bowl flusher does need to be replaced other than that it was terrific.

First time in Paris

From booking to greeter to the description of the apartment….everything was really good. Paula was terrific and our greeter Yasmine was absolutely the best! Available if needed (but fortunately we did not). The weather was great and being able to open the windows on slightly warmer days helped us cool down after walking the city. Great location and easy to get to metro. Two thumbs up!

Lovely flat in a lovely spot

Spacious, comfortable and clean flat with plenty of room for the two of us, although you could fit up to four. Everything we needed was there, and outside you were in a wonderful spot with loads of nice cafes to choose from and with the Sacre Coeur just a short stroll up the hill. The flat is a short (not very steep) walk from metro station Blanche, which itself is three stops from Barbes Rochechouart which is just around the corner from Gare du Nord - useful if you’re arriving via Eurostar as we were. All in all a really great stay.

The perfect apartment

The apartment and the building was clean and tastefully decorated. Even though it is located in the heart of busy Montmartre, it was always quiet. Also the apartment stayed cool when the temperature outside was near 80F. We found everything we need. I was staying there alone first and never felt unsafe. The apartment is far enough from seedy Pigalle neighborhood. I highly recommend this place. Thank you, Paula! Mari from San Francisco

Wonderful location

My family of 4 had a wonderful stay at this apartment. The location in Montmartre was ideal as there were local pastry, bread, cheese shops all very close. The bus and train stations are only 3-5 minutes walk from apartment. The only downsides of the apartment are that it is on the third floor and the bathroom is tiny. My 2 18 yo daughters slept on the pull out sofa and it was fine for them. They are 5 feet tall. Communication with the property manager was fabulous and the apartment had everything we needed for 4 days. If you are unsettled of where to stay in Paris, I would strongly recommend Montmartre. I would stay at this property again if I were to return.

Amazing Location

We stayed at this property for a few days in Paris and thought we’d share our experience… we would strongly recommend it! The location is amazing. Walkable to a boulangerie, a chocolate shop, a fromagerie and about a hundred delicious restaurants and shops. It’s also in walking distance to Moulin Rouge and Sacré Coeur. It’s close to Abbesses metro station (take it from us though - unless you like climbing stairs, take the elevator!) and Blanche stations. The unit is larger for what you can typically find in Paris based on our experience, and is on the 3rd floor of a cute little building. It does not have an elevator, so be prepared to carry your bags up. Quiet at night too! The unit has one bedroom area with a barn door which closes off for privacy, and a second bed is possible with the pullout couch. Our kids (7/11) were quite comfortable on the couch - however it is quite squished with the sofa converted to a bed and we had to move a bunch of the furniture. Not a problem, just a heads up… especially if you have older kids who take up more room :) Kitchen is very well stocked with cups, plates, glasses, etc. Bathroom has shampoo/conditioner and lots of towels. The bathroom is one area that is in need of a few updates (button missing on toilet, for example). Overall it is quite a great family choice for accommodation in an amazing location. We would heartily recommend to friends and will look to stay again when we return to Paris!

Amazing Paris Trip

Thank you Thank You Thank You for letting us stay in your apartment. It was quaint, clean and just what we needed. The three flights of steps allowed us to get our daily exercise :). The Property Manager, Paula, answered my many questions prior to our stay. Ida gave us the apartment tour and showed us how everything worked. Ida went over and above the call of duty. We were looking for jazz spots to go to and she went and researched them and sent them to us. They even left chocolates for us!!! This apartment is close to the train, which allowed us to move around the city with ease. We visited the local restaurants and many bakeries. thanks again, Beverly

Nice stay

Stayed for 2 weeks in January 2023. If you like Montmartre, as I do, the location is perfect. It’s well away from the heavy tourist areas yet convenient to the cafes and restaurants of rue des Abbesses and stores of rue Lepic. The rooms were quiet and the foldout sofa was comfortable for my 2 adult daughters. Great communication with our greeter. Highly recommended!

Be warned

As other reviews noted, the apartment is clean, spacious, well appointed with amenities, and in an ideal location. However, our stay was not a positive one due to other tenants in the building. On our first day, piano playing welcomed us mid-afternoon, which didn't bother us. It lasted for a little over an hour. That evening, playing started after 22:00 and it continued well after midnight! And this was heavy pounding on the keys type of playing. Ida was sent a text to see if she could contact that neighbor to quiet things down. We heard back from her at 10 a.m. the next day with an apology and that the person would be contacted. Second night: playing started after 23:00, much to our surprise. After two stomps on the floor a little after midnight (we assumed person was below us), playing finally stopped, but person quickly changed to some other activity, which sounded like moving furniture around the apartment! This lasted to 1:30 a.m. Could our third and final night be a charm of peaceful sleeping? NO WAY. Now this time it didn't sound like our piano playing furniture mover was the culprit. Instead, noise that resembled people with very heavy feet ballroom dancing and bumping into furniture in the process started after midnight and seemed to be from the apartment above us, or at least close by. At 1:30 a.m. they were still going at it. I share what we recently experienced to inform others who are looking for their Paris accommodation. Enjoy magnificent Paris!

Great place, close to everything

This apartment is very nice and the location is great, only 5-7 minute walk to bus or subway, and great restaurants and markets close by. You will not be disappointed. The apartment is located on the 3rd floor, keep in mind that in Europe the first floor is considered floor zero. Highly recommended
