My mom and I went to Paris for the first time and we are so grateful we found this little oasis of an apartment. We stayed 9 days! There’s a bakery, grocery, and restaurant steps away from the apartment. We loved all the security features of two women alone in Paris and allowed us to feel very comfortable, plus the neighborhood is quiet and safe with very little traffic. Close to all the transportation stops! Just be aware that it will take ~30 minutes to get to many of the central Paris things by public transit, which we didn’t mind at all, especially taking a bus into town as a free site seeing tour of the city. Also try the Asian restaurant down the street called Le Palais du Bonheur! The owner is amazing and gave us so many helpful tips plus the food is delicious, so much so we ate there three times!
Two important notes: (1) Maria is VERY nice but doesn’t speak English so when you’re doing the check in process she’ll show you everything but you kind of have to infer from her hand gestures. (2) the breaker box is in the top cabinet by the front door in case you accidentally trip something like we did by plugging in a heating pad to our converter. It was easy to switch back on after we finally found it.
