Guests are reminded of the quiet residential setting, with strict enforcement by local law enforcement against noise disturbances and disruptive behavior. Pets and smoking are strictly prohibited throughout the property. No smoking of any kind which includes vaping.

Family reunion

Our family really enjoyed our stay here. Everything worked beautifully and there was plenty to keep us entertained. The “play”room was great for the kids complete with toys, books, stuffed animals, and lots of room. There were games, puzzles, and even a game room for older kids, plus a garage full of activities and supplies. We loved the pool and spent most of our time there. The house is very well maintained and well equipped. Thanks for a great vacation!

Great family house!

We loved our stay at Carolina Elegance! Karen has filled the house with everything you could need for the perfect beach vacation. We truly did not need to bring anything but clothes and food to this house. The large pool was everyone’s favorite, but the beach is a three minute walk away! It is in a quiet area with great restaurants nearby. We would love to return again!

First trip to Isle of Palms

A group of family and friends just finished a wonderful week at Carolina Elegance at Isle of Palms. Our ages ranged from 4 to 75. The house was attractive, well furnished and very comfortable. Bedroom suites were so appreciated. Everyone enjoyed the house’s great pool and outside area with lots of seating. A short walk took us to a beautiful, wide, uncrowded beach. We also found it helpful that we rented golf carts from the house to move chairs and toys to the beach.

Perfect for a few families!

Carolina Elegance was the perfect home away from home for our group of 16! We had 8 adults & 8 kiddos (4 & under) stay here for a week & it was a wonderful time. They have stocked the house full of items & toys for children. (Good toys too! Magnatiles, games, dinosaurs, dolls, books, etc. along with a few pack+plays, baby gate & high chairs) The option to heat the pool was so nice for the kids to swim & renting the golf cart is a must (we used it so much & the kids of course loved it!) Everything was easy from the moment we got there. Highly recommend! We can’t wait to go back!!

Spring Break - Isle of Palms

We just returned from two weeks at Carolina Elegance. Really can't say enough good things about the house and property...and area! The house was more than plenty for our party of 12. The adults took the king bedrooms, and four of the girls took the queen bunk room. For them, that was heaven. The kitchen is huge and well stocked. Karen has labeled the cabinets and drawers, and it makes it easy to find what you need and also know where it goes when emptying the dishwasher. There are TV's everywhere, and you can use them to log on to your favorite streaming sites, like Netflix and Prime. The pool area is fantastic, and the kids loved this part of the house the most. They went in at least once per day. If you are able, rent the six person golf cart from Karen. I think riding in it was my daughters' favorite part of the trip. It's fun to take it down to lunch or dinner. As for beach access, it is really close. Walk north to 2nd Ave and turn towards the beach. You'll see a path next to the pastel blue house. There's also a friendly cat at this house, too. In all, it will take you about three minutes to get to the beach. As for local restaurants that we enjoyed, I would highly recommend Sea Biscuit Cafe. It's a cute little breakfast and lunch place. Good food at good prices. Luke and Ollie's pizza is good but not outstanding. We live in Brooklyn, NY, so the bar for pizza is high! The kids loved the BeardCat on Sullivan's Island for gelato. We had two great meals at Poe's Tavern and The Obstinate Daughter. Bottles in Mt Pleasant has an amazing selection of wine and beer, and the folks working there really know their stuff. Charleston is an easy 25 minutes away, and it's pretty easy to find public parking. If you plan to eat in Charleston, we would suggest you make your plans well in advance. Reservations fill up pretty quickly. Karen, and her husband Mike, were so helpful. Karen and I texted a number of times during our stay, and she was always quick to respond and always helpful. She is a very responsible and conscientious owner. She truly wants her guests to have an amazing experience. In all, we highly recommend a visit to Isle of Palms and enthusiastically support a stay at Carolina Elegance.

Good Family Vacation

We enjoyed our stay on Isle of Palms, the location was convenient to the beach, to Charleston and other attractions. The house was perfect for our extended family group, and the heated pool was a bonus!

Living the Good Life

It was five days of living the good life...a beautiful home located on a barrier island within walking distance of the beach. Who could ask for more? The home was perfect for our extended family of 13 with 6 bedrooms and 5 bathrooms, which is always an important consideration for me. The older couples took the 3 bedrooms on the main floor while the young people happily staked out the 3 bedrooms on the top floor. The top floor also included a central sitting area with a flat screen TV. One of the bedrooms up there was furnished with 3 bunk beds with double sized mattresses, perfect for a family with several children. The rooms also had balconies. What was fun was that there was an elevator that went up to the top floor. This was very helpful when we were ready to take the luggage back to the car,. And then there was the kitchen-gorgeous and stocked with everything you would need to cook a meal. One night we booked a chef to come and prepare dinner for our group and he had no trouble finding the utensils and pots/pans he needed. The gathering place for our stay ended up being the entertainment area off the dining room. It had a very large flat screen TV and comfortable lazy boy type couches. It was hard getting several members of the family away from the Bowl games that were taking place during our time there.. As mentioned on the website, there were bikes, an air hockey game table, a pool and other items available, as well as a video game area on the top floor. So, what you see on the website is what you get except for the bunk beds. They were new and we were the first guests to use them. If Charleston is your vacation destination, you can not go wrong booking this home. It helped make our stay a special family time with wonderful memories.

Great vacation rental

Carolina Elegance was a perfect house for our family. Plenty of room. Beautifully renovated bathrooms throughout. Our toddler grandchildren loved their own little shower with the shower wand in the bathroom downstairs.The kitchen was fully equipped. The walk to.the beach was a little longer than 3 minutes with wagons and toddlers but we certainly appreciated the beach umbrella, 2 wagons and chairs that were available for our use. We loved the quiet beach location and sea life. We rescued 40+ beached starfish, and enjoyed watching the pelicans and dolphins. Heath was always available and helpful! A great vacation rental experience!

Lovely home in the quiet end of Isle of Palms!

This home was spacious and well equipped! Short walk to beach.....nice pool. Very nice kitchen. A couple of the bathrooms were getting a little shabby, but otherwise a nice rental!

Incredible property with entertainers back yard, pool, and walking distance to beach

Everything about the house was fantastic. The pool with the volley ball was a big hit. The backyard has great landscaping and is perfect for hanging around all day. Two gas grills and charcoal grill can be used for BBQ and chefs kitchen to prepare meals for large groups. The house is also less than 5 minute walk to a nice beach. The whole street and location is very peaceful and relaxing get away. We had a great stay and hope to visit again!

Kach Bash 2018 at beautiful Carolina Elegance

We stayed at Carolina Elegance for a family reunions and there were 10 of us. We had such a great time and the house was just perfect it was easy to access it had all the amenities we needed and more everyone had their own privacy yet we had a lot of spaces to congregate and hang out with each other. The location was awesome close to the beach in this beautiful town of Isle of Palms yet we could do all the sightseeing we needed to within minutes. Great restaurants were also close by some even within walking distance. We really enjoyed our time and would recommend this beautiful home to anyone visiting the Charleston area.

Second Time, Even Better Than The First

Second time around was even better. This was our second stay here and we loved it even more. This house is so cozy inside and out. It's conveniently located on IOP and close to town and to the water. We love the kitchen, the large bedrooms, the pool and all the decks.

Beautiful house with great appointments. Great layout and we never felt cramped at all with six guest. A stones throw from beach and very very close to all the Charleston sights and wonderful restaurants. Can't wait to go back next winter!

Fantastic stay!!

WOW!! This was such a beautiful home and made our family vacation so memorable. Clean and well appointed with the most comfortable bed I have ever slept in, beautiful linens and warm and inviting decorations! The floor plan of this home is perfect!!! Nice private floor plan with well situated bedrooms and baths, balconies on each side of the house large enough for groups or quiet time alone. Heated pool and everything you could possibly need to spend the day relaxing there or the beach. Chairs and wagons to tote to the beach, so many games and karaoke machine. Tons of televisions for sports or movies at night. Kitchen has everything you could possibly need for a gourmet meal, plenty of dishes and serving for a large group- easy living. The owners have not missed any detail in this home! Reserving our time was a breeze, owners were attentive to all of our questions and needs concerning the reservation. This is top notch property. Would recommend to family and friends for a relaxing stay on Isle of Palms! Fantastic visit and look forward to returning.

Perfect Getaway ~ 5 stars!!

Perfect getaway house to enjoy the South Carolina beaches. Our family found this home to have plenty of entertaining spaces with up to date technology. We particularly enjoyed the upstairs living room which leads to the deck. The view at sunset from that deck is like being in a Nicholas Sparks book. We loved spending time in the large pool and playing water volleyball. Being at the beach was our goal and the house was equipped with plenty of beach chairs, beach wagons, umbrellas and even a beach tent to get out of the sun when the little ones were tired. If you come to Isle of Palms this would be a great place to stay, I know I will be back with more family.

The very best!

My family and I travel quite often and enjoy vacation homes across the United States. This home was by far our favorite. Six bedrooms (outfitted with Heavenly beds and linens) and five bathrooms all perfectly appointed was a huge plus. Up to date technology and large flat screen TVs in each bedroom was favored by the family. The large seating area on the second floor provided a game space for all. Decor is sophisticated elegance yet very comfortable with a feeling of home, not rental property. The well equipped kitchen was a favorite for congregating. Pool with shaded deck. Walking distance to the beach and local restaurants.

Genuine Hospitality

It was apparent a lot of thought was put into the house to make our stay a memorable experience. Overall the décor, house, utilities, technology, etc is all very up to date. Then there are lovely details like usb ports by each bed, ANY TV station out there (premiums too), fluffy bedding, you name it. As a trained chef, I also really appreciated the fully stocked kitchen! When we weren't cooking and enjoying the home, it was perfect walking distance to the coast and the Boathouse Restaurant. The owner was also very readily available and helpful.
