Lovely old house with an amazing amount of charm- well equipped kitchen- great bed and linens - loved the bathtub and all the chandeliers! Nice to stay in such a well loved home- fun little village and great pub as well as another restaurant We Host did a wonderful job communicating and very helpful with instructions- a well run outfit with a super property!

We had such a wonderful time! Check-in was seamless. The kitchen is great if you really enjoy cooking (we did!). Very comfortable beds. We could not stop commenting on how gorgeous the house is. Such a cozy stay and would absolutely stay again.

Nice place, has a lot of potential

Musty smell in the living room ( only room like that ), parking for two vehicles was troublesome and no hand towels or extra towels for hot tube use. Rooms were nice and big and a great location.

I was disappointed by the information that a loft was available for a private sleeping area, until we got there and it was not accessible. We were a family group of 5 adults, one teenage boy and one child. A house that sleeps 8 was not configured for our needs, as we learned when we arrived. We made it work. A couple of family members have sensitivity to cats, and sensed cat presence on furniture in living room and perhaps primary bedroom. That is not my issue, but they wished that to be reported. The door lock system was great, we finally got the heat pumps working (our operator issue) and it was very warm so we were grateful for sleeping in a cooler room.We all loved the location! Everything you advertise and more! Lots of walking, climbing and site seeing all around. The hot tub was used once and enjoyed, we just didn’t have time at home to relax in it! Petty Harbour is delightful, we ate a couple of times at Chafe’s, celebratory meal there (50th anniversary) and live music steps from our home! We left some food and beverages behind, some of it went to the guest cupboard and some still in fridge, so hoping someone can use it. The kitchen was well stocked and worked for all of us. We loved the washer/dryer and made good use of it.All in all, this Vrbo contributed significantly to our amazing and memorable family trip, in spite of the big disappointment at the beginning and the less than private space for one adult. Thank you for your hospitality!

L’endroit est dans beau petit secteur tranquille pas très loin de St-John’s en voiture . Bar laitier et restaurant à proximité ainsi qu’un petit dépanneur. Trail de la east coast à distance de marche .
