Great location. The patio was big and it was surprisingly quiet. Plenty of room for our family of 4.

The unit is in a great location. You are literally 2 min walking from the beach. The morning walks were the BEST. The housekeeping could be better. The floors were oddly sticky when we first arrived, and I found several hairs in both bathrooms. When I rent a place, there cannot be any hair anywhere - PLEASE!!! It was easy to rent from the property management company. They are attentive and easy to deal with. You could tell the company knows what they are doing when they are renting out to folks. They equipped it, literally, with the cheapest household items you could find - probably from renters taking stuff, or the fact that the property is so close to the beach, the seawater damages everything quickly. The keypad locks to the front door are great. This is not an air-conditioned unit. The beach equipment is free to use: boogie boards, surfboard, beach towels - that was nice. The parking spot is a squeeze for a minivan, but it is FREE and designated. It's difficult to find parking near Mission Beach. Do not rent a car bigger than a minivan. Everything is close by and within walking distance to great shops, restaurants, & the roller coaster. Prime location.

The location is great. It's a short walk to the beach and bay, and there are restaurants and a couple small markets nearby. The house itself wasn't as nice as we expected. It smelled a bit musty and we noticed some mold and condensation on the windows. They didn't provide any shampoo or conditioner, just two small bars of soap in each bathroom. For hundreds of dollars a night, you'd think they could include some shampoo.We noticed the cold water in the bathtub was not working and I messaged the rental manager, letting them know about it but that it wasn't an emergency because the other tub worked just fine. They told me they would take care of it, but never gave me a specific time or day. Keep on mind, this was over Easter weekend and I wasn't sure they would come at all but some more communication would have been nice to know what to expect. There were loud parties at neighboring houses each night we were there. I know this isn't something the owners can control, but we didn't want to spend much time on the patio in the evenings because of it.
