Exactly what we were hoping for on our return to our old stomping grounds with our three kids: easy access to the beach and burritos, plus parking on site. Our hosts were welcoming, accommodating, and responsive-- even helped me back into the tight parking space (fit a seven-seater SUV). The space is very clean, beach-chic, and cozy, filled with everything we needed. Highly recommended!

Great little beach cottage! Very clean and had everything we needed for a nice little getaway weekend. Excellent access to the beach and appreciated the use of beach chairs and the other amenities provided!

We truly had an amazing stay in this charming home! It's cozy, as many Mission properties are, but it's incredibly well-designed, beautifully updated, and had everything we didn't even realize we needed. Helpful hooks everywhere! The outdoor shower was clutch. We especially loved the outdoor patio for al fresco meals. It was also a huge bonus that the home included beach chairs, an umbrella, and sand toys. The short walk to the beach without having to cross a major road made it perfect for our family.Parking was a little tight for our small SUV, but having a dedicated parking space in Mission is a huge advantage. One of our favorite surprises was having two great cafés literally next door. Breakfast was so easy!I would absolutely recommend this home to families and would stay here again in a heartbeat.

**Fantastic Location and Wonderful Hosts!**The location is truly the star of this property! Just a quick 2–3 minute walk to Mission Beach, which made it incredibly convenient for our family. We absolutely loved being so close to the beach!We encountered a few issues when we first arrived, but the hosts were absolutely wonderful. They were responsive, accommodating, and genuinely helpful throughout our stay.A few things worth noting for future guests: There is no central AC, just a single window unit in the living room. The primary bedroom has a ceiling fan, but the second bedroom does not. The hosts kindly brought us an additional fan to help with the temperature. Parking is also very tight. While the hosts were upfront about the small space and mentioned previously fitting a Suburban, we found it extremely difficult to maneuver our Lincoln Navigator into the spot. Thankfully, we were able to find street parking or use the free public lot near Belmont Park. Just be careful with overnight parking restrictions and street cleaning times. The kitchen was well stocked with cookware, a toaster oven, and various supplies, which we appreciated. The beach toys and boogie boards were also a huge hit with our kids! The bikes, unfortunately, were quite old and rusty, so we weren't comfortable using them.Overall, the unbeatable location and incredibly kind hosts made this a memorable stay. We really enjoyed our time in Mission Beach!

Apologies again for the housekeeping snafu. I’d just like to add that the bikes may look rough due to being stored outside at the coast but they are in good working order. We use them all the time and share them with guests so they don’t have to rent bikes. Normally there is no need for A/C at the coast in a 500 sqft apartment, unfortunately you all arrived on an unusually hot weekend - hottest in years.

Great vacation home

Easy walk to the beach in a nice neighborhood and close to enough to walk to the boardwalk attractions. Will not hesitate to stay here again.

Perfect stay

The location was great, safe, close to the beach and very walkable and the unit was perfect - Clean, comfortable bed and all we could ask for. We would definitely visit again.

Wonderful Mission Beach Rental

We loved our stay at this property in Mission Beach. It was just as pictured and a great location just steps to the beach and close to Belmont Park. Would definitely stay here again when traveling with another couple or with my teenage kids.

Great place near the beach

Absolutely looking forward to staying here again one day. Very comfortable place close to the beach. Loved taking the beach cruiser bikes out and riding up to Pacific Beach.

Perfect Spot for Small Family

We LOVED our stay here! This place had everything we needed, was super clean and updated, and located in a great spot - walking distance to the beach, boardwalk, restaurants, coffee...everything! The Benham's were also super kind and welcoming. We hope to stay here again!

Can't wait to return!

Clean and well equipped home with an excellent location. Our family of 5 thoroughly enjoyed our vacation as it was within walking distance to everything and had everything we needed for the beach, to barbeque and relax. The hosts were wonderful!

Excellent place to stay

The owners were fantastic and easy to communicate with and super friendly. I can’t wait to book this place again! Beautiful location and is right next to the boardwalk and shopping/restaurants. 5 stars all the way!!
