Fantastic, enchanting stay at this property. The detail to decor is just incredible-the time and thought put into making guests feel special is obvious. I’ve stayed at Debbie’s Mystic properties several times and in each one of them, I felt like I was taken back to another era and staying in a fantasy land. Thank you Debbie and Paul, once again, for an over-the-top, absolutely wonderful stay and can’t wait to come back.

The property was perfect! Super cute and comfy. The room was very clean and was well stocked with everything we needed for the weekend. The apple pie was a nice touch…delicious!! I would highly recommend!!!

We stayed here for 2 nights in July. It was absolutely amazing. Probably the best VRBO I have ever stayed in. So many thoughtful details and the decor is beautiful. Don’t hesitate to stay here - you will not regret it!!

The room was very cozy, clean and thematic and perfect for a Mystic vacation. The bed was very comfortable and the hosts were incredible and very gracious and left great amenities (water, pie! Etc) and the jacuzzi tub was a fun surprise! The property itself is very nice with some lawn games and fire pit. Would highly recommend staying here if visiting the Mystic area!

We stayed at the Carriage House in Mystic, Connecticut September I-11, 2026. Check in was seamless and everything was as advertised. I couldnt have asked for more. Every detail was addressed before we got there, even the apple pie slices. We enjoyed our stay and will certainly stay with Debbie and Paul if we have another opportunity.

We had a fantastic stay! Debbie was easy to communicate with and check-in/check-out was easy and straight forward. We had everything we could possibly need. The location could not be more perfect! We biked along scenic River Road into downtown Mystic and rented kayaks to explore the beautiful Mystic River. We also biked at gorgeous Bluff Point State Park in Groton, an easy 12 min. car ride away, We enjoyed all our meals and sunsets in Stonington Borough…the best kept secret! So much to see and do! We will definitely be back!

This was one of my favorite stays ! The property was in a great neighborhood, quiet and right next to a park. It’s an easy walk to Old Mystic. The decor is very whimsical, old timey nautical. I especially appreciated the slices of pie, coffee and creamer provided. The spa bathtub felt great after a long drive. Plenty of towels and pillows. A must stay

Had a wonderful stay and Debbie is such a great host! The nautical-Americana theme was so charming and tastefully done. The room was stocked with everything you might need and didn't think of like Q-tips in the bathroom and a first aid kit in the closet! Especially appreciated the mini fridge and Keurig with various k cup flavors. Very close to Olde Mistick Village and the Seaport Museum too! Would definitely stay here or one of the other rooms in the future!

Beautiful accommodations, amazing host had the most delicious piece of apple pie waiting for me upon my arrival! Rigger’s Retreat was so comfortable, had all the things I needed, lots of blankets, towels, even toiletries that I had forgotten to bring from home. I felt very safe here and will definitely be staying again when I come back to visit family. Highly recommend!!

The Carriage House was absolutely beautiful. We were only there for one night, but hope to come back and spend a few days. The room was adorable and so comfortable. A great stay!

This was our second time staying and can't wait for the third! The cleanliness is always top notch, extremely comfortable and feels like we are back home on all our visits. We love the decorations, the outdoor firepit, and really appreciate the communication from Debbie. We highly recommend staying here!

The room was clean and orderly and nicely decorated with the sailing/boat theme. Our one complaint/irritant was the we kept the air conditioning unit on and set at about 78 to hopefully keep the noise from the fan motor and compressor from keeping is awake, however the A/C rattled and buzzed constantly throughout the night and our sleep was interrupted constantly. We both woke up extremely early and were quite exhausted from lack of sleep. The room was quiet but the mechanical equipment needs attention. This would include a humidifier that was also quite annoying

The property was so cute and Deborah’s attention to detail was immaculate. The personalized card, sign, and welcome basket was the cutest thing I’ve ever seen at any sort of lodging I’ve stayed in. Thank you for the wonderful hospitality!

The room was perfect! Large enough for two with very comfortable bed. No issues with hot water or shower pressure which often is the case with hotels. We would definitely stay here again!

Everything was excellent except the mattress was very hard. I ended up having to sleep on top of the comforter to get somewhat comfortable.
