5. We do NOT rent to groups under the age of 25 or chaperoned groups under any circumstances. Please don't ask for an exception.

Good place with a few caveats

Nicely remodeled simple beach home. Great location 5 minute walk to the beach. Pool and surrounding patio were really nice with lots of seating. Really nice kitchen and bathrooms. On the downside, very little pantry space, center living room area pretty dark with no windows and no lamps. Lots of roaches/palmetto bugs scattered when we first arrived and we saw multiples of them each of our 4 days at the house.

Great House and location

We have stayed at The Oasis many times and Blanche is the best! It’s our favorite place in Cherry Grove. The weather was terrible due to tropical storm Debby but the house and location was great. We love the updates, especially the big new shower and can’t wait to come back, hopefully better weather next trip!

Walk to the Beach

This Beach House was very Comfortable and Clean. We loved it because you can have your Paw Babies with you! Pet friendly and comfortable.

Fantastic location, great pool

If you’re looking for a property within walking distance to the beach WITH a pool, this is it! Host was very helpful and responsive to messages. This property was sufficient for all that we needed for a family of 6 adults and one child. You could squeeze a few more kids in with the number of beds, but I think this house is a good size for 7-10 total people ideally. While we enjoyed our stay, there were a few things that would’ve been really helpful. The house had some mildly annoying maintenance issues like pool light not working most of our stay, the drip coffee pot leaked, very finicky dishwasher, and outdoor grill had to be lit manually. We also would have appreciated a few more “homey” touches such as a full length mirror, scissors in the kitchen, towel hooks in bathroom, more hangers, etc. However, all that said we had a great time and these are just things to consider as you pack your essentials for the trip. As far as rentals go, this house served us well.

Family Time

Four bedrooms are required for our extended family and this place was perfect. The property is beautiful and its location is ideal! Easy access to the beach and close enough to the inlet, which we thoroughly enjoy at low tide when the kids can find all sorts of interesting shells and creatures.

The property is very nice, great location. I would make the following recommendation to the owner: move the square kitchen table to the dining room with the other dining furniture. Get a large sofa as a room divider between kitchen and TV area, to provide more lounge seating for watching TV or reading. The house has 4 great bedrooms and could easily house 2 families, but only one loveseat in the TV area.

Future Renters Beware

While this trip was very enjoyable, the property left a little to be desired. The outside area and the pool were fantastic. The first few days we had immediate responses to our questions and concerns, however, later in the week, as we discovered things that were broken there was no response. With that being said, I thought I would share some concerns here in addition to what was shared privately by another member of our group. The Wifi was on an unsecured network which is completely unacceptable. The floor in the kitchen by the refrigerator was cracked/broken. Each day pieces were chipping out which made it not only dangerous to walk in your bare feet but also a tripping hazard. The windows in the master bedroom and the sunroom leaked during a rainstorm. Some of the blinds were torn. The coffee table in the common area was broken. The common area did not have enough comfortable furniture to accommodate the number of people this house sleeps. Strangely one of the bedrooms did not have a closet, end table or bedside lamp. I am not even naming everything here, but we were concerned enough to share this information with the property owner during our stay. Last, I realize this is the south and there are bugs of all varieties but multiple days there were live LARGE palmetto bugs in the sunroom and kitchen. Outside is understandable and even dead ones inside (knowing the spray was up to date), but these were very much alive. We expected more from this rental for the price

The Oasis...is an Oasis

The Oasis is a beautiful house. Loved all the space and big bed rooms. The pool was so nice that we even had a couple of pools days instead of going down on the beach. The kitchen is very well laid out, and had plenty of anything you may need. The only thing that was kinda annoying was the sliding barn doors were the washer and dryer are located. All I can say is this was a beautiful house, and with it being pet friendly was a plus. Blanche thank you so much, we had a awesome time and hated that the week went by so fast. Will definitely try and reserve again.

Great 50th Birthday Getaway

Celebrating son’s 50th birthday. House was as described, plenty of room for 12 people and the dog. Pool area was fantastic, more than enough seating for everyone. Easy walk to beach, very laid back area and still close enough to all the attractions Myrtle Beach has to offer. Would definitely stay again. Thank you for sharing your beach house with our family.

Perfect location, great property!

We loved staying at this property! The location was perfect! We enjoyed riding the golf carts to the beach and then coming back and relaxing at the pool! Highly recommend!

Nice location

Property was clean and nice location; only problem is the ventilation; the house would get up to 75-77 degrees in the early evenings - even with keeping the blinds down to keep sun out from adding to the heat. We experienced this every evening which made it uncomfortable……..

Pet friendly and close to the beach!

The house is beautiful with a gorgeous in ground pool in a great location just steps from the beach. Perfect for our two families! We already miss Myrtle Beach and can’t wait to go back..

Fantastic retreat

The home was clean the decor was really nice. The pool was very clean and lit up different colors with nice patio furniture. There’s a grill a kitchen stocked with appliances and utensils. Overall really nice vacation home

Great Stay!

The Oasis was the perfect place for our Spring Break getaway. The house is set up nicely with two bedrooms and a bath on either side, and common area in-between. We especially enjoyed the front porch in the mornings, and of course, the pool overlooking the channel in the evening. Everything was clean and Blanche was extremely responsive. If in Cherry Grove again, we would absolutely stay again!
