Your entire family will enjoy staying at Swede Emma’s on AuTrain Lake! This is a newly renovated 4 bedroom, 3 full bathroom home with AuTrain Lake views & private beach access! There is one bedroom with a king bed and bathroom on the main floor and 3 bedrooms/2 full bathrooms upstairs. The upstairs master bedroom has an attached bathroom complete with a claw-foot soaking tub! There are also 2 rooms for the kids that have a set of twin/twin bunk beds and a double bed. We invite you to come relax

Wonderful lake house. Plenty of room for a crowd. And plenty of things to see, to do in or out. I just wish we had more time to stay.

This property is absolutely beautiful! It is newly renovated and fully-stocked for cooking in the beautiful kitchen. The four bedrooms and three bathrooms, plus spacious living room and upstairs sitting room, provided ample space for our family, and we felt completely at home throughout our stay! We’d definitely return again!

Great property, we had a wonderful time. The home was clean and well stocked. Not one complaint, the kids loved the 3 season porch! Check in was a breeze.

This home was perfect for our large family, from kids to grandparents. The house has been beautifully renovated with a lot of attention to detail in maintaining the charm of the original house. The private beach area right across the street was great and the lake was nice. The kitchen was beautifully done and stocked with everything (dinnerware, utensils, pans, etc.) we needed. The washer & dryer on the main level were an added bonus. While our children are not small, there were a lot of toys, activities, and gear in the closets that would be accommodating for younger kiddos. The house was immaculate and smelled fresh and clean. The town is a charming little area! We all loved the lazy Au Train river float in kayaks. I would definitely stay here again.

Beautiful property

Absolutely gorgeous stay at what appeared to be peak fall foliage season. The house is lovely with everything we needed for cooking and basing our short stay from. We were there for only two nights and didn’t get to enjoy the lake or a fire on the beach due to wind.

The property was clean and so comfortable. It was well-stocked with soap, toilet paper, and other household products. There were also several baby items - portable crib, booster seat, toys, etc. The location was excellent - very close to kayak/canoe rental, Lake Superior, and an easy drive to Munising and Marquette. It was the perfect size for our group of 9 adults and 1 infant - large table perfect for game night. The kitchen was well-equipped with cookware for making meals and there was plenty of countertop space thanks to the island. Highly recommend and we would love to stay there again!

Just a little misunderstanding with the grill.. I asked if it was charcoal or propane and was told charcoal and we needed to bring the stuff for it so we bought the charcoal and got to rental and they had a propane grill so wasted money on charcoal. Other than that place was beautiful my best friend and I finished the laundry up since towels were still wet in dryer.
