Everything was absolutely amazing. Our family enjoyed staying at The travelers Oasis and the host was extremely good at communicating with me with any questions I had. If you're looking for a place, this is the place to go. We couldn't have been happier everything was perfect!!!

Pros:1) pool2) quiet residential area3) good "hang out" space4) 4 bedrooms for 2 ppl each (memory foam matresses, if you like those)4) owner responded quicklyCons:1) hot tub was empty2) it's loud: creaky stairs and hollow core doors, so you'll hear everyone walking up/down and to the bathroom from your bedroom3) the small bathrooms and the kitchen need a deep clean4) basement laundry uninviting5) kitchen not equipped for eating in (4 forks, no baking sheets, dirty items in cupboards, expired food from prior guests)6) no garage availability (tenant's front door goes through garage)...I don't remeber the listing mentioning the (very quiet) tenantIn summary, we feel like someone put in a good effort at one point, but the upkeep has really fallen to the wayside.I shared this with the owner, who seemed receptive. I hope it's all addressed prior to the next guests.

Perfect for our family get together. We had a family reunion and both kids and gkids joined us. Plenty of room. The gkids rarely left the pool, and the kitchen was incredibly well stocked. Highly recommend.

We enjoyed aspects of the property and understand that unexpected maintenance issues can arise from time to time. However, several issues during our stay had a noticeable impact on our experience and made it difficult to fully enjoy the home and amenities we paid for.The master bedroom shower was leaking and could not be used, which was challenging for our group of six since everyone had to share the remaining shower. The hallway bathroom toilet was also leaking throughout our stay. We ended up cleaning up water ourselves and placing a bowl underneath to collect the dripping, which was an inconvenience we had not anticipated while on vacation.We were also looking forward to spending time in the pool and hot tub, but both appeared to need attention before our arrival. The pool had visible dirt and debris settled on the bottom, and the hot tub's appearance and odor made us uncomfortable using it.We understand that things don't always go as planned, and we appreciate that maintaining a property can be challenging. That said, these issues affected several of the key amenities that influenced our decision to book this home. Given the inconvenience and the loss of use of those amenities, we would have appreciated some form of compensation or acknowledgment of the impact on our stay.We hope these concerns are addressed for future guests, as the property has a lot of potential. While we made the best of our trip, our overall experience fell short of what we expected based on

Graduation visit

My family and extended family members came for a high school graduation party. We all had a comfortable stay, and the bedrooms upstairs were perfect. Nice quiet neighborhood and close to major routes. House was clean and had all the amenities we needed.

Awesome Stay!

The process was great. I booked 4 months in advance and check in was on! The property was in a clean and friendly neighborhood. Stores and mall all within 10 minutes. Amenities were available and will probably come back when in town.A must see.

House was nice. Bed was very comfy. managment responded when had a question. Beautiful & relaxing. Unfortuately it got cool so didn't get to use the pool as much as would have liked to. Beds were good, neighborhood was nice & quiet.

Large and clean accommodations in neighborhood

We needed accommodations that allowed for 7 adults and one 2 yo. This house was perfect for that. Two bedrooms had king sized beds and all had memory foam beds (a big plus compared to other rentals we have stayed in). The two full bathrooms were fully stocked with towels, shampoo, etc. Plenty of room to hang out - two living spaces and dining area. The kitchen was decently outfitted but still missing a toaster which hopefully will be there for the next guest. A large driveway allowed for great off street parking. We could see the pool and hot tub but obviously did not use them. Location was great for us since all of our events were in Henrietta or Rush. Overall, these accommodations were perfect for us!

Quick weekend college visit

My family came in for a college visit and spent an extra day exploring Letchworth State Park which is about an hour away. Before arriving, I had asked about places to potentially see when we were there. The host had offered various ideas for places to visit which was much appreciated. We had a little trouble with the WiFi password when first arriving but the host was quick to answer and it was quickly resolved. The beds and rooms were quite comfortable. The house is located in a nice quiet neighborhood. The pool is a nice bonus and has nice outdoor furniture for relaxing around the pool. The kitchen was a bit sparse with amenities but had enough plates and utensils for our family of 4. Knowing this is a newly listed rental I would make the suggest of adding a toaster to the kitchen and a few more pots, pans and utensils and having a small hair dyer available upstairs.

Our family came for college graduation. Communication with management was very good. Location was very good. Those two facts are 5 stars.However, the rental itself was poor. Beginning with the kitchen, there was food still in the refrigerator that was from prior guests. The kitchen towels were dirty with dried food on them. There were no paper towels, nor could we access the closet upstairs where we were told to get them. The countertops were dirty with a sticky substance. The grill outside looked as it had just been used. There were stains on the carpet, one of the bedrooms smelled like cigarette smoke and most of the sheets were dirty. The rug in the family room had stains on it. The only guest bath towels in the home were the large bath towels that appeared to have just been purchased and not washed. There were no hand or face towels. The main bedroom shower had a mildew film on the floor and the door was dirty with smudges.There was a strange collection of what looked like small pot-holders next to the sink and had other people’s toothpaste on them. There was hair and dirt around the sink. The hot tub was not working. I have never posted a review like this. I feel terrible posting but had I read a review like this, I would not have rented this property. We travel frequently and always use VRBO. With the price we paid, we assumed it would be clean and ready for our group. Good luck in the future. The house is a great space and has tons of potential.

The is most factual occurrence of events during our stay. First when we arrived there was a car in the driveway, when I check my phone I had a recent message stating there is a permanent tenant onsite in an attached converted apartment. This is not on the listing and caught us off guard but we thought ok no big deal. Then we arrived to a house that was over 80 inside on the main floor. After contacting the property, I was told the cleaner must have forgotten to turn the air on. Because it was so hot it took about 5-6 hours to cool down which was in the middle of the night. Thw next morning when my daughter was playing she asked me who was in the back yard. A damily member went outside to find a tree company came in to look at the trees, again no heads up or communication. On our second evening we emptied the garbage to fin no garbage bags. The property contact was able to get bags dropped off in morning. In the middle of the third night the house heated up to over 80 again. The next morning I contact the property again and was told it was working fine prior. We decided to take the kids in the pool and when in the pool we found multiple magots in the pool. They were likely washed down during a rain storm. The house continued to be over 80 on the first floor. The following day I contacted the property to let them know we could not stay another night with the heat. They did refund us two nights. My opinion is the house is not well maintained and the listing is not accurate.

The property was perfect for what my family needed it for. Great location to anything in Rochester and not too far away from Buffalo/Niagara Falls area. The highlight of the property is the pool! As described, gorgeous, well maintained! The kids spent every minute they could swimming in it! The host was responsive and got a minor issue resolved in a timely manner. Overall great stay. Thank you for hosting us.
